When I woke up, I saw Peter walking towards the door. "Hey," I said meekly. He turned around quickly.

"Hey," he said cheerfully, walking back over to me. "Sleep well?" he asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, you relaxed me a lot," I smiled, making him blush.

"Well, that wasn't a problem. By the way, the Lost Boys are up now. Would you like to meet them?" he asked, smiling as he nodded downstairs.

"Oh, um, sure..." I trailed off nervously.

"Great, I'll go tell them," he said, running downstairs to gather the boys.

I stood at the top of the stairs where he had disappeared, and waited to go downstairs to meet the Lost Boys. "Okay boys, we have a new guest! Her name is (Y/N), would you like to meet her?" I heard Peter ask the group of rambunctious boys.

"Yeah!" I heard the excited group scream and shout. My stomach instantly formed into knots, and I started taking some deep breaths. I don't know why, but I felt better just hanging out with Peter than having to deal withh a bunch of wild boys, and I felt oddly nervous about meeting them.

"Come on down, (Y/N)," I heard Peter call. Uh-oh. I thought of a happy thought and flew downstairs to a chorus of ooohs and ahhhhs because of my graceful skill. I could tell from Peter's look of astonishment that he must've thought I would have forgotten it, but hey, nobody can forget how to fly. I landed right next to Peter, and he began the introductions.

"Okay guys, this is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is Tootles, Nibs, Slightly, Curly, First Twin, and Second Twin," Peter informed me, pointing to everyone as he introduced them.

"Hi guys, I'm (Y/N)," I greeted the smiling faces. I went around to each of them and shook their hands before going back to my place by Peter. I could see Slightly fidgeting around, do I looked over at him to see what was wrong. It looked like he was counting something off on his fingers, and that's when I saw all of the Lost Boys watching him. Oh no, they have something bad planned, I could feel it. I just watched helplessly as I saw Slightly get closer to five. Right as he got there, all of them started chanting.

"Peter's got a girlfriend! Peter's got a girlfriend!" I looked at Peter, my face turning a whole new shade of red.

"Oh gosh," I said to him, so embarrassed that I was barely able to look at him. He chuckled at my reaction to the boy's immaturity.

"Yeah, that's right boys. She's mine, all mine" Peter egged them on, putting his arm around my waist and tugging me closer to him. I couldn't stop from laughing at that. After we all stopped with our antics, I decided to go and explore the island.

"Hey, I'll be back in a little bit. I want to go explore" I told Peter as I literally bolted for the front door.

"Do you want to someone to go with you so that you don't get lost?" He asked, showing concern for the first time today. It was so cute that he was he was being protective, instead of completely immature like all of the movies described him.

"No, I like exploring on my own. Don't worry, I have a better memory than you think." I said with a smile as I left. At first, I was greeted with the warm sun and a beautiful beach. I saw the ocean right by the tree house and decided to mess with it. And by mess with it, I meant control it.

My cousin, April, and I were very close to the fairies that lived around her house while we were growing up. We grew up watching their movies and communicating to them through secret messages written on leaves. When we got a little bit older, we were granted powers by the fairies, which was a very special gift for us. April was given the power to control wind and I was given the power to control water and ice. The full excellence of our powers would not hit us until we were sixteen, and me only being thirteen when I got here, means that I will never get my powers. But, I held onto the hope that being in Neverland, a place filled to the brim with magic, I may be able to get it early.

At home, the most that I was able to do was create massive thunderstorms and sometimes hurricanes. Yeah, I know, that's the most I did. But, I could only do it when I was sad or furious. I couldn't do it when I was jubilant or otherwise emotionally stable.

So, I first tried making a huge ball of water. And amazingly, it worked! I was so excited; basically jumping around in joy. I let the water rain down over me, and moved down the coastline to keep out of Peter's sight. I wanted to surprise him at a later time when I was more advanced. I practiced my new powers, creating waves and tornadoes. I was even brave enough to ride one of the waves! When I got out to the middle of the ocean, I created a tornado around me and sat at the top, controlling the tornado so that it never dropped me. The view was magnificent, and I knew I made the right choice in coming here.

I rode the tornado back to the shore, managing to not get one drop of water on me. I was bubbling in giddiness, ecstatic to finally be able to use my powers. After playing around with them for a while longer, I returned to the real reason I wanted to leave; my music.

I was glad to get some me time to just sit and listen to my music while I took everything in. A lot had changed the past couple of days. I found a cave behind a waterfall that was away from the view off the tree house. I parted the water and went inside, putting my earbuds in and hitting shuffle as I did so.

I listened to "Lost Boys" by Ruth B and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" by Shawn Mendes over and over again, alternating between the two. They were definitely my favorite. I danced around the cave, sometimes practicing my new talent as I did so. I found pictures on the cave wall, so I examined them, keeping my music on as I looked at them.

The first one was a picture of a pirate ship with Captain Hook and Peter Pan fighting. The next showed Captain Hook losing while Peter called him a codfish. Well, someone was definitely here, and they were definitely on Peter's side since it depicted him humiliating Captain Hook. I was trying to think of anyone who could've done it, when at the bottom, I saw it signed '-Peter'.

I almost had a heart attack when I read his name. That meant that this cave wasn't as hidden as I thought it was. I was trying to put everything together when I felt arms slip around me and pull me into a backwards hig. I jumped away immediately, emitting a high pitched squeal as I did. I turned around to see Peter Pan, chuckling and getting a kick out of my reaction. I quickly paused my music.

"PETER, YOU SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME!" I scolded as he kept laughing at me.

"That was priceless, (Y/N)," he said, doubled over in laughter. I playfully swatted his back.

"Hey, that wasn't very nice," he admonished.

"Neither is sneaking up on people," I retorted in a playful grumpy tone.

"Take those earbuds out more often and you won't have to be scared," he replied, smirking.

"Don't scare me and I won't have to take my earbuds out" I said, smirking at my annoying attitude.

"Anyways, what are you doing in my cave?" he asked my frustratedly, changing the subject when he had no good reply of his own.

"Haha, I win," I cheered triumphantly.

"What do you mean?" he asked me, disgruntled at the thought of losing.

"You changed to a different topic without retorting, therefore I win," I explained with a smug smile on my face.

"Okay fine, I'll give you that one. But what are you doing here? Even the Lost Boys haven't found it yet," he told me, sounding impressed.

"I like exploring, and hiding. It's easy for me to find good hiding placed. And I don't know, it just looked like a good place to enjoy my music," I told him, smiling innocently.

"Well, I like your music," Peter complimented with a smile.

"Of course you do, it's about you!" I laughed. He chuckled along with me. "How did you know I was in here anyways?" I asked him.

"Hm... Let me think... You were singing at the top of your lungs, how could I miss it?" he teased playfully. I giggled.

"You have a point," I said.

"Of course I do," he said with a smug smile. "Well, the boys are worried about you, so we should probably get you back to camp," he said after a few awkward minutes of silence.

"Can't we just stay here? I'm more comfortable with you than I am with them" I pleaded playfully.

"I wish, but we can't. We can be alone tonight, though," he said with a devious smirk.

"Fiiiinnnnneeeee," I whined as he led me out of the cave. "Oh, one last thing," I told him.

"What?" he asked, not being able to recall the answers to anything she might ask about.

"I have to show you something," I said, quickly dragging him to the beach.
