Currently we see Ben sitting in his new class lecture hall, uncomfortably scratching himself because of his uniform. Right now Ms. Himeno is giving out the club's assignments, "okay, this week I want you to investigate an area of the school" she said.

"If I may ask why?" Ben inquired stretching out his collar, "a couple weeks back we had to deal with a hot springs Phantom. And on the same day a fire occurred in one of the buildings" Arisu said.

"And recently strange happenings have occurred", Haruhiko raised his hand, "strange happenings as in?" He asked. "Strange beams of light that look like threads of string" she listed one example.

"And there was also a report of them connecting to people's limbs and controlling them" she added. "That's creepy" Ben commented as he took off the button up of his uniform. "Though I have no room to talk since I can posses people like a ghost" he added.

"You better not think of possessing us!!!" Mai yelped covering herself along with Reina and Minase. "Why would I do that I'm not that kind of guy" Ben retorted.

"Anyways here's the room number" Arisu said handing them a small piece of paper. "Thank you" Haruhiko said as they walked out, "so do you think it's a phantom or something from Ben's world?" Mai asked.

"Since it occurred around the time of our battle with Engima before Ben arrived here I don't think it's anything from his world" Minase said. Ben nodded, when they arrived at the room they saw a blonde girl wearing the same uniform as them kneeling in the room. The place was still burned and she seemed like se was crying, "why" she whimpered.

"Uh excuse me but what are you doing here?" Minase asked the girl, she looked back and stood up. "Sorry I was here paying respects" she explained walking to the exit. "Wait you mean someone died in here?" Ben asked, "yes... my dear friend... I... I..." she then ran off crying.

"Looks like Iwa is still having a hard time" Ruru commented, "you see during the hot springs thing, this class was on fire, her friend Supuraito had pushed her out of the room but had burned along with it" she said.

"Oh man... that's heavy" Ben said, everyone nodded, then Ben felt something strange. As if something was watching him, he looked around and spotted small threads waving around. "Look out everyone, looks like I found those threads Miss Arisu was talking about" Ben said as he brought out Heat Blast's hands.

Everyone looked around to see the threads, "what are they?" Minase asked, then one connected to Reina's head and made her suck in. And she was panicking trying to scream for help, "HELP!!!" Ruru screamed not wanting to get eaten.

"What's going on!" Ben asked, then spotted the thread connected to Reina's head. "Wait hold still" he said growing Rath's knuckle claw and then slashed the thread. Finally Reina stopped, "oh thank you Ben, I thought I may never stop" she said.

However they did notice something, looking upwards they saw a small glowing cube on the ceiling. And the threads were stemming from it, "looks like we found the culprit" Mai said going for a kick.

"HYAAA!!!" Her leg enflamed and she kicked the box making it explode, "yes!" Unfortunately... it seemed it was a bad idea. The remains of he box had been absorbed into Haruhiko's sketch book. But what they didn't know is that there was something inside, the Box itself was a Phantom but it had trapped another Phantom.

The one trapped had glowed brightly "finally free!!" It said, it was as small as Ruru with brown hair and energy wings. "Now thing will stop me from reuniting with my love" it said flying off" we should've just sealed the box instead of destroying it" Ben said.

"Yeah... yeah should have" Haruhiko said, Mai was covering her face embarrassed. The team then ran out trying to fallow the Phantom.

The thing was flying all over, it used its threads to grab any girl's and pulls them to it. "No" he said putting one down, "no" he said putting down another girl.

"Please my love where are you!!" It said looking through the girls, "hey I don't want to hurt you, so I suggest you stop right now" Ben threatened. The Phantom looked back to see the gang ready to attack from behind him.

It growled then turned to see Iwa, it gasped when it saw her, she had a startled look on her face. And started flying towards her "STAY AWAY!!!" She screamed while creating a stone spear and throwing it at the Phantom.

It dodged only for Ben and Mai to stand in front of Iwa, "okay Phantom, let's see how you do against us" they said.

Mai's leg was then engulfed in water and she threw a kick at it while Ben's arms turned into WaterHazard's and he blasted. The phantom used Tita strings to grab two tables and block their attacks.

Then it flew off into an air vent, "I will not stop until we are reunited!!!" It screamed before going in. "Whew that was close" Kurumi said, "are you okay Iwa?" Reina asked.

"Yeah... I'm fine" she said, "any reason why it went after you?" Haruhiko asked, "I heard it say it won't stop until they are united" Ben said. Iwa then left wanting to forget what had transpired.

Only the phantom didn't stop, for the past few weeks its been ambushing her when she least expects it. In her classes, while she's at PE, heck it was even in the changing room and restroom.

That was until she had come to the club for help, "please I can't handle these anymore" she begged. "This Phantom has been giving us a hard time also" Ben said, "but not to worry, if it tries anything we'll be ready!" Mai said enthusiastically.

"So far it looks like the thing has been hanging around the school, so you should be safe at home" Minase inquired. True enough the Phantom that's been stalking Iwa had been trapped at the school.

"It looks more like a fairy, but what ever it is it's behaving like a ghost" Ben said. "You've dealt with them before?" Haruhiko asked, "well... ghost like aliens, but from what I've read in my cousin's spell books and informative literature on the paranormal. Ghosts tend to stay in one particular area" Ben explained. "Oh that's true, maybe the Phantom has unfinished business here, or it can't move on" Haruhiko thought.

"That makes sense, but what could it be?" Minase said, Kurumi had gave Iwa a drink of water. "Here" she said, "oh thank you, you're too kind" Iwa said as she drank some water.

Ben decided to go small and crawl through the air vents in order to find the phantom. As of right now he's walking through the ventilation shafts, "sheesh... it wouldn't hurt the school to clean this place out every now and again" Ben now Omni said.

The vents had been cluttered with dust and cobwebs, "yuck! Not even my room looked this bad". He then heard whispering, he found the source which was the phantom. "She's running... I'm trying to reunite with her... but she doesn't know I'm me..." it said.

Ben jumped in front of it "okay buddy you've got ten seconds to explain" he said turning his arms into Arctiguana cannons. "Don't even try" it said throwing some threads at Ben only for him to incinerate them with NRG's heat.

It backed up, "nice try" he said blasting a freeze Ray, the phantom flew and retreated. "Get back here!!" Ben screamed, he chased the anomaly for almost half an hour.

That was until he found his way back to the classroom and falling onto Reina's lap. "Ow" he groaned, "Ben?! Did you find the Phantom?" She asked him, "did but lost him" he answered. "Did you find out anything?" Minase asked the tiny alien.

"He said she doesn't even know he is him... that's what I heard from him", Ben grew back to normal size and incidentally bumped into Iwa. "Oops sorry Iwa" he apologized then saw something drop out of her pocket. He picked it up and saw something familiar, it was a boy around her age.

He had brown hair and small thin threads sticking from his fingers, "Hey Iwa who's this?" Ben asked. "That was my friend Supuraito" she answered, "the one who was killed in the fire?" He asked. She nodded, "we were the best of friends... admittedly I had a crush on him... I... I just wish.." her eyes started watering again.

Ben looked at the picture, then his eyes widened, he finally knew why the phantom was after Iwa. And why it was only at the school, later on when everyone was about to leave the Phantom came back.

"I... Iwa" it said flying towards her, she was about to whack it with a stone baseball bat. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!" She yelled about to swing, only for Ben to stop her and the Phantom.

"Iwa calm down" he said as she lowered her bat, "let me ask does this Phantom look familiar to you?" He asked. Iwa observed the Phantom closely, after staring for a minute she went wide eyed. "S-S-Supuraito!?" She gasped, the Phantom nodded, "but.. but how?" She asked.

Flash back
Supuraito P.O.V.

We heard of that Hot Springs phantom in the school yard. You were taking a nap by the window, I was about to check it out when a little monkey phantom jumped into our classroom window.

It was looking through the teacher's bag for a lighter or something. When it pulled it out it was going to leave when a loud boom was heard and it fell back and the lighter lit itself.

And unfortunately it was next to the curtain on the window. The thing was on fire, but were about to wake up but couldn't breath well through the smoke.

I picked you up and ran to the door, that's when you woke up completely. Then pointed back and saw the monkey cornered by the flames. You couldn't do anything though because your legs fell asleep.

I decided to go in after it, I couldn't use my strings though because they got burned by the fire so I had to go in myself. I grabbed he phantom and tossed it out to you, then an burning beam fell on me and I couldn't get up.

You tried to reach for me but couldn't get passed the flames, I don't want to leave you. But you'd have to die to save me, so I made a choice, I wanted you to live rather than die with me. So I used the last of my strength to summon a thick rope and pull down the roof above. And close off the doorway from you, then the last thing I saw was all black.

"Then the next thing I saw was a pulsating green glow, and after some cracks and I was back alive" he finished. "So... you're a phantom now?" She asked, "yeah... I don't know how but I am..." he answered. "Iwa I am sorry I left you, the thing is you're my best friend, you're well being goes far above my own. I hope... I hope you can forgive me" he said. "Of course you're my best friend, how can't I" she said happily crying.

"Something must've kept your spirit going when you were in that phantom box thing" Ben said. "Ben-san's right, you were stuck at the school and was obsessed with Iwa" Haruhiko added. "Well, there's also something I've been meaning... no I wanted to tell you" he said.

"What is it?" Iwa asked, glad to have her friend back, then she went wide eyed. Supuraito's next action socked her, he lunged forward and kissed her. "Iwa... I love you, you and me have been through so much together! Even if I may be a phantom now, I really want to be you're boyfriend. So please, please go out with me!" He asked.

She was stunned, it smiled brightly and hugged him, "yes... besides... I've loved you too" she said crying tears of joy. All the girls present had tears in their eyes, "that is so beautiful" Mai said.

"Love is a beautiful thing, but it's a good thing most guys aren't that mushy right Ben? EH!?!?!" Haruhiko had been stunned.

Ben was also crying holding a handkerchief to his eyes, "that is so precious" he said wiping his tears. "Or maybe not" the green hair said, "shut up its beautiful!" They all yelled at him.

The next day Ben and Minase are walking to school, "so how do you think those two love birds are doing?" Ben asked her. She smiled a little "hopefully they are happy" she replied, then they looked back to see the two in question. Supuraito was sitting on her shoulder and smiling happily and she skipped to school with a big smile on her face.

"You two seem happy" Ben inquired, "of course I am, I just got a boyfriend, who is also my best friend" Iwa said. "And I came back to life and got a girlfriend who is my best friend" Supuraito said hugging Iwa's neck.

The brunette and pink hair observed the two picking up speed, "think anyone will be lucky enough to be as in love as those two?" Minase asked Ben. "Not sure, but anything can happen" he replied as they looked at each other, then looked away blushing like crazy.

And ran to class trying to avoid eye contact with each other.

Here are Flamewarrior11's two OCs, Iwa can create objects like armor and weapons out of stone. Back when Supuraito was human his power was to control Phantoms with his threads like puppets. Now as a phantom his powers are reversed, he still has his threads but now he controls humans with them. Well see you next chapter.
