It was late in the afternoon. Phoenix was glancing at the clock anxiously, waiting for his girlfriend. She was late than usual. He shook it off and decided to wait a bit longer. If Mia didn't return, he'd go looking for her.

He figured he'd cook for the two of them, so they'd have something to eat for lunch? Or would this count as dinner??

The pot sizzles as he tossed in vegetables and cracked eggs. When he finished, he moved unto making steak and tofu. It was smelling delicious and he felt quite proud of himself.

He had just set the food down, when he heard keys jangling and the door opening. He breathed a sigh of relief and called out, "Welcome back babe" Mia's footsteps were heavy as she walked over. She hugged Phoenix from behind and mumbled as she took in his scent. Phoenix chuckled and turned around to hug her. "Tired, huh?" Mia looked up and smiled at him. "Yeah. It was very busy" "Nothing I couldn't handle though"

"Good" Phoenix said. It was then Mia noticed the food. "You've outdone yourself!" "They look so delicious!" "I really needed this" "Thanks so much"

"You’re welcome" He pulled aside a seat for Mia, before sitting down himself. "Let's eat then"

The two chatted about their day, smiling.

Right after, Phoenix insisted that Mia should rest, while he does the dishes. She agreed, without much complaining.

Minutes later Phoenix was done. The house was already clean, so was the dishes. The only thing left was spending time with his girlfriend. He bent down and began to massage Mia's feet. She protested. "You don't have to. Dinner was more than enough"

"I know, but I still want to" he replied. "Alright" Mia said. Phoenix got to work and he knew how relaxed Mia was getting. He'd do almost anything to help his love.

The two cuddled before, Phoenix carried a giggling Mia to bed.
