A/n: Nico descend to madness. What's gonna happen? Read it out!

Nico's POV

I was having a really bad day. First, Will has went on some secret quest. Second, Percy and Annabeth have went to give their SATs. Third, Leo is alive but lost somewhere and I couldn't help but try to find him.

Ever since I had cleared the air between everyone, they had become more worried for me. They thought it was abnormal. I decided to go practice sword fighting.

"Oh hi, Nico." Ah! And guess who I find there? Piper McLean.

"Hi"

"How you doing?"

"Fine."

"Where's Will?"

"Dunno." I wasn't even allowed to tell anyone that Will was on a secret quest. I hate to talk, but everyone tries to engage me in a conversation. I try to be as sulky as I can, but..

"Aww. C'mon. Why don't we go and grab ice-cream?"

"No."

"C'mon Nico! You need to smile a bit more, huh."

I decided to ignore that part and challenged her for a fight.

Piper is really talented. After all she was taught by Hazel, my sister. But she wasn't a match for me. She tried to charmspeak me in between, and unfortunately I lost.

"That's cheating. No charmspeking allowed."

"Everything is fair in Love and War, yanno. And this is War." She said dramatically. I couldn't help but snort. She seemed amused. Cue to leave.

I don't like to sleep. I hate nightmares. Especially from that place. Yah, tartarus.

I went through that hell, alone. I never dared to step near it again. Nobody knows what happened there, except me. I can't recount that experience. After that I had been close to becoming a shadow by the huge no. Of times I shadow travelled to bring the Athena Parthenon.

It was Will who saved me. He brought me love. I never was happier.

Knock. Knock.

"Whose there?"

"Uh..Nico? I am Grover. Chiron wants to talk to you."

"Coming."

"WHAT?! TELL ME WHAT YOU SAID WAS A LIE. IF ITS A PRANK YOU ARE GONNA PAY, BIG TIME!" I didn't even care if I was talking to the camps director and a god (Mr.D). If what they said is true, I will stop caring anymore.

"Nico! First of all calm down. And yes, Will Solace died a hero's death. He sacrificed himself for the Gods. You, for one, should be proud. I know it is a huge loss for the camp. But he will remain forever in our hearts."

As the child of Hades, Nico should have known immediately if Will had died. But it looks like the Gods are hiding his death. "JUST WHAT THE HECK WAS HIS QUEST ABOUT?!"

"He was given the quest of healing the minor goddess of explosion. Their were risks. But it was important. He knew about the risks, yet he himself volunteered." I hated how calm Chiron sounded.

"AND YOU? YOU ALLOWED IT? WHY COULDNT APOLLO DO IT? HE CANT DIE! CAN HE? WHY DID APOLLO SACRIFICE HIS SON? YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU DONT NEED TO ANSWER. I ALREADY KNOW! THE GODS THINK OF US AS TOOLS. THEY USE US AND THEN DISCARD US. I HAVE HAD IT ENOUGH!"

And by that, I shadow travelled to the underworld. I am gonna overtake the Gods. The gods don't deserve this life. I went straight to Persephone's garden. I took the fruit of immortality and power. I am now inevitable.

Persephone appeared. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH THAT! WHY COULDNT I SENSE YOU?!"

"Ha! I am the son of shadows. I can't be sensed. It's the blessing of Hades!" I had turned pure. I could sense the power coursing through my veins.

I destroyed the underworld with a click of my finger.

I went to Olympus. I destroyed the whole godly area with one mere LAUGH.

I went to CHB. I destroyed every single ex-companion of mines by my own hands.

I didn't felt a thing.

They called me evil, I told them I am.

They called me betrayer, I told them I am.

They called me heartless, I told them my heart's dead.

They called for Percy, I told them he was dead.

They cried for forgiveness, I laughed on their face.

I am now the only alive person. I don't know what good that is. I still had the intent to kill. I had scraped every corner. How do I fulfill my desire?

I ripped off my arms by my own arms.

I cut off my legs by my teeth.

I jumped from the cliff and broke my neck.

I still wanted to kill.
