So, what do all these PJ Masks episodes have in common? They're all about Gekko!

I've noticed throughout the series, Gekko gets quite a few special episode. So far, all the holiday specials are about him, the outer space special, a special connection with PJ Robot, AND a super cool pondweed power stuff PLUS the title: "Master of the Deep"

But why Gekko?

Don't get me wrong, I love Gekko, but you gotta share the spotlight buddy!

I have three explanations for why Gekko gets gigantic glory:

1. Pure coincidence

2. Gekko's being favored by the screen writers

3. PJ Masks creators think all the kids will like Catboy and Owlette more, and give Gekko more special episodes so kids like him more (I don't like this one, but I couldn't get the thought out of my head)

So far only ONE special was about another PJ, which was Moon Madness, focusing on Catboy!

Owlette gets. . . . Uhhh. . . To be Armadylan's apologist?(that topic is for another time)

I'm hoping future specials will be different, like having a special focus on a villain! That'd be cool!

(I swear if "Heroes of the Sky" is somehow about Gekko, I'm done.)
