When Princess Annabeth was born, the whole kingdom rejoiced. King Frederick and Queen Athena always wanted a daughter.

The Prince of Atlantis was to come visit Princess Annabeth at her christening. Prince Percy saw her and crinkled his nose. She was beautiful, gorgeous even, but was a baby. He was 3 years old. This is with the movie just saying.

3 fairy's were called to the christening. Each fairy was to give a gift. The first gave the gift of Beauty. The second gave the gift of Wisdom. Then, as the third fairy walked up, Arachne the Spider-witch showed herself. "You dare not invite me to this little sinner's christening!" She boomed. "Well since I'm here, I might as well give a gift." She smiled wickedly. "We don't want your gift!" King Frederick yelled. But Arachne ignored him. "On this child's sixteenth birthday She shall prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die!" She shouted and disappears before the king and guards. The third fairy walked up to the cradle. "I cannot take away the curse, it is to strong. But, I can change it. When she pricks her finger on spinning wheel, she will sleep until a prince wakes her up with true loves kiss.

King Frederick had all of the spinning wheels burned under the threat of death. Then the three fairy's took Princess Annabeth to a small cottage in the Fairy Tale Forest.

Time Skip to 16th birthday

The fairy's were preparing for Annabeth's birthday. Because Annabeth wasn't to know she was going to have a birthday in the cottage. Annabeth walked down the stairs. "Good morning aunts." Annabeth said to the fairy's. "Good morning Anna." They shoved a basket in to Annabeth's hands and pushed her out the door. "We are out of fruits, gather some darling." The first fairy said.
