***this is part two, after the first Halloween chapter so read that first if you haven't already***

"You made me put on fake blonde hair for nothing?" Nico grumbled as the demigods went hunting for candy.

"Well at least we tried." Will shrugged. "But there really was no contest against Percy and Annabeth."

"I knew this mermaid costume wasn't for nothing!" Percy said over his shoulder. Annabeth snickered.

They were now headed to a haunted house, and when they arrived, a skeleton popped out of the wall and jumpscared them.

Hazel and Piper both shrieked in alarm, jumping behind Frank and Jason. Percy and Annabeth both reached for their weapons (before you ask why they even had weapons while out trick or treating it's because, from past experiences, monsters could be anywhere and everywhere). Leo was so startled his hand burst into flames, accidentally setting Calypso's hair on fire. She quickly swatted it out. Will let out a yelp, and Nico was the only one who was fairly calm.

"Mr Skeleton would you kindly not do that?" Nico asked. He had a way with the dead. 

The skeleton didn't reply. It didn't move or anything.

"Hello?" Nico waved a hand in front of its bony face. 

Again, no answer.

"DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM??" Nico asked, impatient. "I AM A SON OF HADES NOW ANSWER ME OR-"

"A son of who now?"

Nico whipped around to see the host of the haunted house staring at the group in confusion.

"I-" Nico stuttered, face flushing.

"EIGHTIES!" Percy blurted. "H-He's an 80's kid."

The host eyed Percy's mermaid costume curiously, then shrugged and walked away muttering something that sounded suspiciously like, "weird guy."

"Nico don't do that." Annabeth said. "Plus it's just a fake skeleton."

"Oh." Nico huffed. "I knew that. C'mon."
