HELICOPTER ESCAPE FROM CREATURES

As the car careened around another sharp turn, Sae Joon Hyun's nerves were on edge, his eyes darting nervously between the encroaching horde of creatures and Eunhye's determined figure poised at the sunroof. With a swift motion, she hurled the bag with all her might, sending it hurtling towards the creatures below.

"What is she doing?" Sae Joon Hyun's voice trembled with a mixture of fear and disbelief as he watched the bag arc through the air. The contents of the bag rained down on the creatures, momentarily immobilizing them with a cacophony of groans and snarls.

As the car drew closer, Eunhye unlocked the door, her eyes scanning the chaotic scene unfolding outside. Jaeyeon expertly maneuvered the vehicle, driving closer to where Sae Joon Hyun and Yuri were huddled amidst the chaos. With a determined stride, Eunhye reached out her hand to Yuri, offering her salvation from the impending danger.

Yuri, still shaken from her fall, grasped Eunhye's outstretched hand, allowing herself to be pulled into the relative safety of the car. Jaeyeon swirled the vehicle around once more, his focus unwavering as he navigated the treacherous terrain with precision.

Finally, it was Sae Joon Hyun's turn to be rescued. With a sense of urgency, Eunhye reached out for him, her hand extended in a gesture of solidarity. He hesitated for a moment, his eyes filled with a mixture of gratitude and apprehension, before finally accepting her offer of assistance.

As he leaped into the safety of the car, relief flooded through him, mingling with the lingering fear that still gripped his heart. "Are you insane?!" he yelled at Eunhye, his voice laced with frustration and concern.

Eunhye bristled at his accusation, her own frustration boiling to the surface. "What's wrong? Why are you lashing out at me?" she shot back, her tone defensive.

"If Jaeyeon had lost his grip on the steering, what would you have done? You could have split your head, you know!" Sae Joon Hyun's words were sharp with fear and anger, his eyes burning with intensity.

"I trust him that much, Sae Joon Hyun," Eunhye argued, her voice tinged with defiance. "He's proven himself capable of handling the situation."

"He's a minor. What do you expect from him?" Sae Joon Hyun retorted, his frustration mounting with each passing moment.

"Hey! If it weren't for Jaeyeon, you guys would have still been surrounded by those things, staying still for god knows how long!" Eunhye shot back, her voice rising in frustration.

"Come to your senses! You shouldn't be trusting people on a whim just like that!" Sae Joon Hyun raised his voice.

"Then I shouldn't be trusting you of all people at all!" Eunhye barked loudly at him.

The tension in the car was palpable as silence settled over them like a heavy blanket. Sae Joon Hyun slumped into the seat behind him, his gaze fixed on the world outside the window, his mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions. Eunhye, her arms crossed tightly over her chest, sat with a defiant expression etched upon her features, unwilling to back down from her stance.

Yuri felt a slight irritation tugging within her. She took a deep breath, trying to shake off the lingering sense of vexation that had settled within her. "I am twenty-five," she began, her voice calm but tinged with frustration, "a teacher in a high school."

Jaeyeon, eager to keep the conversation flowing, wasted no time in chiming in. "I'm eighteen, a junior detective in Daegu city," he announced proudly, his youthful enthusiasm shining through.

The silence that followed hung heavy in the air, each member of the group waiting for someone else to break it. Eventually, it was Eunhye who relented, her annoyance evident in the click of her tongue. "And I am Eunhye-"

"Twenty and an amazing idol," Jaeyeon interjected with a grin, his words dripping with admiration.

Eunhye couldn't help but smile at his compliment, a faint blush tinting her cheeks. She nodded in acknowledgment, grateful for the unexpected praise. Sae Joon Hyun, however, remained aloof, his irritation palpable as he muttered his own introduction under his breath.

"Sae Joon Hyun, reporter, Seoul," he mumbled, his tone terse and clipped. Yuri sighed inwardly, recognizing the lingering tension between Eunhye and Sae Joon Hyun. Clearly, their previous exchange had left wounds that were slow to heal.

As Jaeyeon steered the car down the desolate road, he glanced at Eunhye with a playful twinkle in his eye. "Eunhye noona, can I call you that?" he asked, his tone lighthearted.

Eunhye nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Of course," she replied, her voice soft and warm.

"I've heard all of your band's songs, noona! Your voice is amazing!" Jaeyeon gushed, his admiration genuine and heartfelt.

Eunhye couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude at his kind words. "Thank you," she said, her smile widening. "Who is your bias in our band?"

"Rhea noona is amazing," Jaeyeon replied, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "But you are great too. I'm not just saying it for the sake of it, if you're worried about that."

Eunhye laughed softly, her heart lightening at his earnestness. "I know," she said, her tone teasing. "You don't look like the kind to say things for the sake of it."

Jaeyeon grinned at her, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "Thank you, noona," he said, his voice sincere.

As their conversation continued, Jaeyeon couldn't help but express his admiration for Eunhye's solo work, particularly her singles. "Noona's singles are on a whole different level," he remarked, his tone filled with awe. "Especially the song 'Dream World.' I'm amazed that noona could make three singles after the year of debut."

Eunhye felt a swell of pride at his words, her heart buoyed by his genuine praise. She leaned back in her seat, the cold breeze from the moving vehicle tousling her hair gently. For a moment, she allowed herself to bask in the warmth of Jaeyeon's compliments, the tension of their recent ordeal fading into the background.

But her reverie was short-lived as Sae Joon Hyun's sharp flick on the back of her head snapped her back to reality. "Ow. My head. You jerk!" she snapped, shooting a glare at Sae Joon Hyun, who sat behind her.

"Sorry," he muttered before sinking back into his seat. Eunhye rubbed her throbbing head with one hand, her eyes narrowed as she continued to shoot daggers at Sae Joon Hyun. He avoided her gaze, his expression unreadable as he sat in stony silence.

Beside her, Yuri let out a sigh of relief, a small smile playing on her lips as she observed the interaction between Eunhye and Sae Joon Hyun. Despite the tension, they were alive, and that was what mattered most.

Suddenly, the car's speed increased sharply, causing Eunhye and the others to be pressed back into their seats. Yuri leaned forward, her eyes widening in alarm as she glanced at the rearview mirror. A horde of grotesque creatures was in hot pursuit, their twisted forms lumbering closer with each passing second.

Jaeyeon's decision to accelerate became clear to Yuri in an instant. With a grim determination, she braced herself for what was to come.

As they neared the helicopter, Sae Joon Hyun unlocked the car, and Jaeyeon slammed on the brakes, bringing the vehicle to a screeching halt. Without hesitation, they leaped out of the car, their movements fueled by adrenaline and desperation.

Jaeyeon led the charge, his strides determined as he raced towards the waiting helicopter. Sae Joon Hyun followed close behind, his eyes fixed on their only hope of escape. Yuri trailed after them, her heart pounding in her chest as she fought to keep up.

But as Eunhye stumbled over her long dress and fell to the ground, the others failed to notice her plight. Ignoring the searing pain shooting through her arm from the impact with the sharp stones, Eunhye struggled to her feet, her breath coming in ragged gasps.

She clutched her injured arm, feeling warm blood seeping through her fingers as she tried in vain to stem the flow. Panic surged within her as she realized the gravity of her situation. Surrounded by relentless creatures, with no means of defense, she was utterly helpless.

A chill ran down Eunhye's spine as she looked up, her eyes meeting the soulless gaze of the approaching creatures. Fear gripped her heart in a vice-like grip, rendering her paralyzed with terror. She trembled uncontrollably, her body slick with sweat as she braced herself for the inevitable onslaught.

The creatures drew closer, their grotesque forms illuminated by the faint light of the afternoon sun. Their twisted features contorted into grotesque masks of hunger and rage as they reached out with clawed hands, their mouths dripping with foul-smelling saliva and blood.

Eunhye's heart hammered in her chest as she stood frozen in place, her mind racing with fear and despair. With no hope of escape, she could only watch in horror as the creatures closed in, their intentions unmistakably clear.
