The sound of the coffee machine whirring nearby had been the best companion to most of the citizens on Mars. Clicking sound of boots echoed through the cafeteria as the swishing sound of chefs cooking up special orders filled the area. At the corner of the cafeteria, the Talion was sipping onto the hot coffee, its canines protruding from the cup like a prize possession. Chen was playing cards with one of the new visitors from Planet 3.1 as he chuckled happily, the wrinkles on his face almost visible. Ranveer was busy explaining some of the weapons he had drawn in the G-Tab to some of the younger children. Ever since the Perverse, every inhabitant on Mars had known what was the true skin colour of the government who once ruled them. Arthur sauntered passed the cafeteria as he headed over to the coffee machine, punching in some of his preferences while looking onto his G-Tab. He yawned before grabbing onto the large cup of coffee, drowning it in his systems as his grey eyes studied the peaceful surroundings before climbing into the cubical, heading towards his department.

Stefan lifted up his spectacles as he studied some of the new engines the researchers had suggested. He was unsatisfied with the first two prototypes from his student before he swiped the figure away from his screen, telling his student to modify the corners of it. They nodded in agreement before hurrying back to their seats to re-correct their drawn prototype. Turning his gaze back towards his G-Tab, Stefan clicked onto one of the best prototypes, showing it as an example to his students. When he had returned from Planet 14 the last time, he realised that there were more than what meets the eyes. It never occurred in his mind that President Mc. Conner was behind all those massacres for the past ten years. He was glad that he was given a chance to survive by the space sirens. Yukhta, specifically. He never knew why, but till today, he still has a little affection on her. Perhaps, it was because she had been guiding her to save the princess all these months, accompanying during his lonely months in Planet 14.

It was a tragedy, what happened five months back. President Mc. Conner and his son, Jonathan both were murdered by the creatures from the other planets. Chen had tried his best to prevent it from happening as he reasoned with them, but it was too no avail. It was also undeniable that the President and his son had caused multiple deaths of creatures throughout the universe, including separated many families from their loved ones. Ever since their death, the citizens had been living in peace, but though the peace had been restored, they still needed governance. Governance was to ensure that Mars would have a leader. A leader fit enough to prevent bloodshed. A leader who would be willing to listen to ideas of every citizen. Chen lived long enough to know who is capable. Democracy was what they had agreed on. For the past five months, the Halton siblings had proven that they were the most capable leaders on Mars alongside a few of the chosen ones.

"Rachael?" A gentle voice echoed through the air, causing the young girl to turn backwards coming face to face with Samuel who was in his tuxedo, all ready for the event in the evening.

Rachael smiled seeing the familiar figure as she resumed her sight towards the flying spaceships on Mars where the few soldiers were training before the ceremony begins. "What brings you here, Samuel?" She questioned, eyeing him from the corner of her eyes.

"I thought of giving you this," Samuel spoke, showing her a new blue rose he had planted, causing the girl to chuckle at the sight of it.

"Sammy, you have given me one before," Rachael said as she looked at the rose where the thorns were removed from the stem itself. "You don't have to keep plucking flowers for me. They are beautiful on the farm itself. I love the blue in between the greens."

Samuel smiled before he reached out, slipping the flower in between her bun, allowing it to stand out proudly from her black hair. "I want to. This is meant for you. Your bravery to stand out even though you know the danger. Just like how strong this rose would bloom regardless of the temperature."

Rachael looked out at the space ships before reaching down to brush her blue dress, smoothing the edges out gently. She turned to look at Samuel with a smile. "You do realise I have nothing else to say right? So, I hope you are not expecting an answer."

Samuel chuckled. "I just want to thank you for saving my dad."

"Your dad?" She questioned as she gestured for him to walk with her down the stairs, heading towards the Round Twirl where many of the citizens had gathered.

"Yes. He was one of the researchers in agriculture. When he failed in growing a certain herb, the president locked him up. I need to thank you for releasing him." Samuel explained.

Rachael smiled, reaching out to pat his shoulders. "I would save the innocent when I could."

When Samuel had noticed Stefan and Arthur heading towards their way, he bowed, leaving the family together. Rachael turned around as she took a glance at her father, hugging him tightly in her arms. She was more than happy to have her father back. Those months without him were the worst of his life. Arthur chuckled, joining into the hug as he looked towards his younger sister and his father.

"Let's do this. Come on then." Arthur gestured as they all headed towards the Turn where many of the citizens of Mars and from other planet have taken their place.

"Is she coming?" Stefan questioned as he headed out to the crowd where Chen was giving a speech about Mars, about how the citizens came to live in this planet from Earth.

Rachael shrugged. "I sure do send a message through, but I am not sure about their presence."

Once their names were announced, Arthur and Rachael both headed out together on the circle as they looked out into the crowd. Stefan smiled as he watched both his children stepped out proudly. He was proud of them for their strength, truth and their dignity in keeping Mars a planet safe to live in. Their governance was cast the highest vote among the rest of the chosen ones. Right after the President's death, the diplomats of higher ranks had decided to open up, allowing all the creatures whose planets were destroyed to live on Mars with a law of not killing the Earthlings. Democracy was voiced out by everyone and once the names were cast in, both Arthur and Rachael's names were in it. It was expected that they would win. Stefan was glad his children took the step to be fearless and go oppose the wrong ones even though he could still remember the fear written all over their face. Now, they are the ones who would maintain peace on Mars and the other planets.

Arthur, the eldest of the Halton siblings stood out confidently. His hair combed neatly to the side, won the hearts of many ladies in Mars including non-Earthlings which actually worries him. He opened up the speech, welcoming all inhabitants from across the galaxy to have open trade with Mars in all the sectors they could provide and even introduced transparency, real transparency this time where Tower 49 would be a tower of information sharing instead of peeking into inhabitant's privacy through their G-Tab. It had been established so he had announced everyone to take the newly created chip in the Research Department during the first two weeks of their governance. He even re-introduced the studies of mythological beings where there would be a new database being opened. Creatures from all over the planet would be able to introduce about themselves through the database with the consent of leaving out their weakness if they choose to. He renamed it Precise Studies. There were cheers filling the Turn as the inhabitants from Mars and all planets cheered agreeing on the idea while they signed the agreement which was being spread through their G-Tab.

Once her older brother had instilled the rules for the internal parts of Mars, Rachael looked into her G-Tab as she looked out at the crowd. From a normal girl, running round in Base 95 to get her father back and saving her father, now she is a leader alongside her elder brother. A role model, a leader and also a protector of Mars from all sorts of danger. Rachael introduced a new Base especially for hand to hand combat with new weapons they have designed in the classes for the past five months. She had agreed to hold a competition between the Space Drivers which would be trained by both Captain Chen and Captain Ranveer. She had decided to get more talented inhabitants to join the forces and those who are interested are more than welcome to join. Sa'ne; the once cold room is now turned into a history room where all inhabitants would be able to share their history, including their preserved bodies or parts to be taught to everyone on Mars.

Stefan couldn't help but smile as he heard agreements from the Turn. Everyone cheered at the opportunities both the Halton siblings had given out to everyone, both the Earthlings and non-Earthlings. Coming to think of it, Stefan chuckled, knowing that him being mad was worth it. Sometimes, he would re-play the memories. How would things be if he wasn't left alive? Mars would be at its destruction not because of Mother Nature this time but because of the greed of mankind itself. As he watched both his children took the oath as the leaders of Mars, alongside with the other sector leads, he smiled, looking up in between the stars. If being mad, means allowing the younger generations to live a better life, he was more than happy to be mad again.

"I don't think your son and daughter would be happy about it." A familiar voice spoke from behind and Stefan smiled seeing Yukhta standing behind him. "Miss me?"

Stefan nodded at her words. "I miss you of course. You are the reason I am alive today, Yukhta. Thank you for choosing me."

Yukhta shrugged, her fish-eyes glimmered in between the lights. "No. You chose me. You prove yourself to be a good man. Or else I would have killed you too."

"Speaking of that, what are you doing here?" Stefan questioned.

Yukhta pointed her silver hands on the stage where Queen Arabella had stood on the platform next both Arthur and Rachael who bowed at her presence. The rest of the inhabitants stood up to bow when they noticed the siblings bow. Stefan walked out to the place as he bowed towards the Queen, Yukhta standing proudly next to her and the Princess on the other side.

"I, Queen Arabella, from Planet 14 has agreed to join forces with the leader on Mars to ensure the safety of the galaxy we are living in." Queen Arabella stated as she looked towards Stefan. "Stefan Halton here, including the Halton siblings with Ranveer had proven that mankind has good in them that they would protect the good even if bad is influencing the world. I offered my forces to Mars and Planet 14 would be ready to help."

Rachael smiled at her words. If no one had known, which in fact no one had known since she had wiped out their data from the database as promised. Queen Arabella from Planet 14 had been the leaders for inhabitants on Planet 1 to Planet 10 all these years which would give Mars a strong advantage to be allies with. Stefan stood next to Yukhta as he bowed toward the Queen in respect, the politicians cheered in agreement. Queen Arabella smiled as she bowed to the siblings and punched in the data into the G-Tab, sending out agreements to the rest of the diplomats. They signed it in agreement and the fireworks were released.

"Thank you, my Queen for coming." Stefan smiled.

Queen Arabella shook her head. "We thank you Stefan, for opening up our eyes and see the good in humans. You are the leader of the humans and your children. The three of you proved that there would be good in humanity and Earthlings who would understand the nature of each creature without bloodshed." She smiled.

New governance was born where new rules were implied. Stefan wrapped his palms around the mug of coffee he was holding. His grey eyes studied the surroundings. Different inhabitants from all over the galaxy had gathered in Mars, making Mars the main spot for gathering. He never had thought it was possible. Through his experience as a researcher all this while, he had always thought that it was impossible for every creature to gather in one place. Now, the truth burning in front of his eyes proved that he was wrong. Planet 14 was a unique planet. Compared to any of the other planets, Planet 14 had the highest technology in their lands. Stefan had kept the knowledge with his children, allowing them to proceed in some of their research. It was a hidden knowledge and the incident happened towards him on Planet 14 was still clear in his mind. Looking out into the stars, they reminded him about the blue ones in Planet 14. Every living being made mistakes, and everything will be fine if they re-correct their perceptions on it. Thus, nothing is ever perverse.
