"If you want a different future, then I shall grant you the freedom to take it. No longer will we be chained down by the stars, treated like kits too mouse-brained to decide our own fate. Every cat is born with the strength to fight, so use your passion as fuel! The only wall between success is your own fear."

__________

The zodiac signs still exist, unfortunately or not. While we understand wanting to change the game completely, it's still our work, and we want some of the older aspects to prevail. Please be understanding of our position here.

What is different, though, is that zodiac signs can be changed. Not only that, but mates, kits, skills, ranks, pets and any other privilege can be fought for, through special games. While you are chained to the expectations of the zodiac sign you are born with, if you're willing to take the risk, you can have everything and anything you want.

All ranks will be referred to as the normal Warrior book ranks, until the part where the new ranks are named and described. This is to prevent confusion on our end and your end.

In the previous version of PTTS, there was probably a time where you were annoyed. Maybe you wanted to be mates with a friend, but your signs didn't match. Or you wanted to a Star Soldier, but the random generator said nein.

Well, welcome to a game of both skill and luck. Here's a long explanation of each aspect. I wanted a dramatic name for this, so they're called The Gravity Shifts.

The Gravity Shifts

- These games occur whenever there is demand (at least five cats are actively prepare to fight for something) and the leader allows it. A leader cannot refuse to allow a cat to join in on the games. It must be fair for anybody, and anybody willing must be allowed to have a chance.
- You can have anything you want, as long as it isn't the death of another cat. Does that mean you can wish for a cat to be injured severely? Yes, that's something you can do. As long as the cat is not permanently injured, harm can be wished on them. A wish cannot be denied, either. Even if there are zero herbs and half of the is sick, if a cat wishes for another cat to be severely injured, it happens. Even if there are five queens and twenty kits, and a cat wishes to be able to breed, then they get to breed. Even if there are twelve medicine cats and the entire clan is starving because of it, the winning cat will be allowed to become a medicine cat. Do you get the point? Hopefully.
- Medicine cat strength is based on their healing skill. Warrior strength is based on their battle skill.
- The higher the healing/battle skill, the higher the chance of winning. Cats will be randomly paired up against each other, the cat with the higher battle skill usually winning. If two cats have the same battle skill, the chances are 50/50.
- One winner only, but the game must have at least five cats. There is no limit to how many games can be done.
- Leaders and deputies do not need to worry about this. Once acquiring such a role, you can change your zodiac sign at your will and take what you want. Beware angry protestors, though, if you get to greedy.
- A cat has a small chance of dying or getting permanently injured, which gets higher as the gap between skills gets bigger. Most cats will leave the fight uninjured, slightly injured, moderately injured or severely injured, where their injuries can be easily healed.)
- To elaborate on the whole "getting whatever you want" thing, we literally mean whatever you want, so go wild. You can steal a mate from another cat, take somebody's kits, A N Y T H I N G.
- What isn't allowed (permeant injuries, murder) is reserved for secret meetings with the leader. Discuss what horribly dark things you want to do and see if the leader will allow it. The leader is allowed to do whatever they want in these situations. Grant them instant permission, give them a large task, make them give something up, or even killing them for daring to ask. These meetings are lawful, yet also not bound by any rules. Indulge at your own risk.

Charts

Government

The new government is a Democracy. A deputy will be voted on, rules will be voted on, serious issues will be voted on, and anything that the leader decides is important will be voted on. This is a system that can not be cheated, no matter what. If a leader attempts to butcher the Democratic System in any way, the clan has the right to impeachment. If 75% of the clan vote to impeach, the leader goes back to their original rank and the deputy takes over. Once impeached, you cannot be leader again. This same process can be done with a deputy.

What can a leader do without a vote?
- Add minor rules (no more then two queens, no more then five medicine cats, etc.)
- Change their own zodiac sign or the deputies zodiac sign
- Force a cat to be their mate/breed
- Force other cats to be mates/breed
- Make emergency decisions of any sort
- Call votes at any time for any subject
- Force schedules
- Give minor punishments (especially for not voting)

What can't a leader do without a vote?
- Execute/exile a cat
- Elect a deputy
- Change a lower ranks zodiac sign (this is done through Gravity Shifts)
- Add major rules
- Make huge decisions that will greatly effect clan life in anyway
- Force cats to participate in Gravity Shifts

If a leader adds a rule that the clan doesn't like, the command "/protest" can be used. If 75% of the clan uses this command, the rule will be changed/removed.

Cats must vote. Not voting is another form of inactivity. It's the leader's job to check and see who has voted and who has not voted. A leader can use any form of punishment for non-voters and does not need any permission to go forth with it.

The Curse/The Drawbacks

Rejecting the Star Bounders has come with a heavy price. While you have gained freedom, you have also given up divine power. There will be no more extra lives or warning dreams, but there also won't be any punishments for sinful actions.

One new thing is the Immortal curse. The leader is required to force this curse on at least one alive cat. Once the cat dies, they take another cat with them of their choosing. The cursed cat will watch over CrescentClan in the afterlife until the end of everything. Also, once this cat dies, a new cat must be given the curse. This can be used as a punishment or just as a ha ha, ooops, sucks to be you deal.

The cursed cat will be marked with this symbol ❦

This curse exists because the Star Bounders wanted to come back with one final screw you punishment.

Medicine Cats???

We know, we know; it's currently really boring to be a medicine cat. There's no more meetings, so all you do is gather, train and heal. Well, we'll come up with something for you to keep your minds on. Give us a couple days.

New Commands

/protest (Don't like a new rule? Protest with your clan mates and use Democracy the way it was intended to be used!)
/impeach (name) (Do you think the leader or deputy you voted for is a mouse-brain? Rally with your fellow clanmates and watch the drama unfold!)
/bestow curse upon (name) (Used by the leader and the leader only. Doom a cat to external suffering, for fun, I guess.)
/vote (Equal rights, equal votes!)
/arrange secret meeting with (Leader) (This is a secret command you send to us. Create a paragraph or so of your explanation of what you want and why. Be aware that your identity will be revealed. The leader will receive your request and will decide what to do.)
/enter Gravity Shift (You want something, don't you? Well, don't get too cocky...)

Ranks

- The Black Hole: The one and only Madeline. If she never joins us, this rank and the one relating to it will never be fufilled. They have more power, as they were the reason this revolution begun. However, once they are dead..... they cannot escape the Kuiper Belt. For starting this, for making it a reality...... they must watch what they have created, until the end of time sweeps everything away. For every good thing.... there is always a downside. This is that curse...
- The Stars: The normal warriors. They are a normal part of the democracy. They are not overlooked, they have a voice, they have choices, like everyone should.  They have the same rights as everyone.
- The Nebulas aka Star Dusts: The normal warrior apprentices. They rank up to Stars at the age of 14 moons with at least 5 level overall. They prioritize hunting.  They have the same rights as everyone.
- The Black Dwarfs: The warriors that chose to be tasked with punishment, guarding, and all other fighting/defensive measures. They have the same rights as everyone.
- The Lunar: The leader of the healers. They support the clan in a different way, trying to ensure that the other two branches of the Kuiper Belt do not fall. Every 24 moons, they have the ability to force a vote about something. They have the suffix -moon ( to represent the consistency between all types of planetary bodies).
- The Gas Giants: The healers of the Kuiper Belt. They have dedicated their life to making sure the other two branches of the clan do not fall.
- The Land Giants aka Planetary Dusts: The apprentice healers. They have dedicated their life to making sure the other two branches of the clan do not fall. Can rank up at 14 moons, with 5 levels overall. Specialize in healing.
- The Asteroids: The queens.
- The Comets: The kits.
- The Black Matter: Those currently receiving punishment.
