As she looked at herself, She didn't recognize the person in the mirror,
It looked like her clone, it had her mouth, her nose, her hand and toes,
It was her eyes that told the truth, it was her eyes that deceived her facade,
It showed the longing inside of her, it showed her desires,
But alas, no one saw it,
No one saw the message she tried to convey, no one saw how her eyes begged for help,
No one but her mother, no one but her mother saw it,
She saw the longing, the desires, the message and the begging
Her mother saw the clone she had become,
Her mother recognized the person in the mirror, as she herself was one long time ago,
Long time ago, her mother felt herself become a clone, just like her daughter with the same mouth and nose, and hand and toes, how her eye held everything she felt, when the society and her family cut off her wings,
That was the moment, when she promised herself that she won't let her daughter's wings to be cut off,
She found the hidden key and unlocked the shackles that held her daughter down, the same ones that held her down before her wings were cut off,
She saw her daughter soar into the sky, flying towards her dreams,
At that moment, she saw her daughter remove the mask, and become who she was once again.
