Hi! I'm a fairly new writer on here and so I thought i'd post my poems and stories on here. Please let me know what you think! constructive criticism is appreciated and please vote for me if you like any of my poems. I'll keep posting stuff up here, so I hope that people will take the time to read them.

Hate was my secret weapon

Power I thought I held

It helped me survive

I wanted you to hurt

Because you'd hurt me

I became twisted and bitter

And I was barely living

But then I realized the truth

This hate was a fetter

That bound my life to you

My life revolved around the hate

And like a poison it drained me

So now I'm letting go

Letting go of you and the pain

And I'm moving on forward

Like I should have years ago
