The lone appears in the sky,
Signaling the end of the night and the start of the day,
Watching the waves at low tide,
Walking along the beach with you watching me,

You shine brighter than the brightest star,
You brought light into my life,
Just with the beauty that you are,
And with comebacks sharp as a knife,

You are my stars and my moon,
But most of all you are my sun for bringing light into my days.
