Yet another day. Sun's shining, breeze is cool, and clear skies for much of the day. What more could Lucario ask for? He was laying on his back meditating when...

Meowth: Oye, Lucario.
Lucario: *sigh* What Meowth?
Meowth: Ask and Dare time again. Let's go.

Later

Meowth: Alright ladies and gents! You know the drill. Dares first, questions later! This dare comes from a SpyroAndToothless, daring us to a game of what he calls Museum!
Mewtwo: "Museum"?
Meowth: We all have to stand in a pose of our choice like statues. You move, you lose. Last man- erm, Pokemon standing wins! Everyone up for it?
Pikachu: Pika pi pi pika! (Sounds like fun!)

Weavile chose her popular defensive pose for the dare.

Pikachu picked up his favorite hat and chose to pose as if he was taking yet another picture for the movies.

Mewtwo, despite thinking that this dare is rather "silly" to say the least, he chose a pose he figured was most appropriate for him.

Meowth decided on his "classic" pose.

Lucario figured that since he was going to stand still, then the best way to go about it was to be in a meditating pose.

Naturally Jigglypuff decided to pose like she was having a picture of her singing.

Greninja, being a ninja, decided to use his meditation pose as well. Nobody said that everyone's pose had to be different.

Garchomp decided to be in his most "impressive" pose he knew. 😒

Charazard figured he might as well put on his "classic" pose as well. It was a classic and impressive pose his fans loved.

Meowth: Right, everyone ready? 1...2...3! Pose!

Everyone posed for the dare at once. One of Weavile's friends, an Xatu, had agreed to keep watch of everyone and call out when someone moves. Who better to do this then a Xatu?

For a moment everyone was as still as statues. Jigglypuff was starting to struggle as her mouth was getting dry. Suddenly a gust of wind came by and it went right into Jigglypuff's mouth, causing her to cough loudly. It was loud enough to startle Pikachu and make him flinch. Xatu sounded their movements immediately. Two down, seven left standing.

Another moment passed by before Garchomp found himself struggling to stand in his pose much longer. Charazard was also struggling to keep his head and arms up. He had to at least outlast Garchomp. Just that'll make Charazard satisfied with his participation in this dare. Garchomp's left... arm? Wing? Fin? (Guys help me out here) Was starting to get tired and slightly shaky, and he was starting to understand why Jigglypuff moved. His right leg was also starting to slide against the ground from supporting so much weight unevenly. Garchomp eventually succumbed to gravity and fell flat to the ground tired, Xatu called him out, then poor Garchomp had to drag himself out of the way. Three down, six left standing.

After a few minutes, Charazard was getting sore from his none movement and stillness and eventually decided to let his arms down and let his neck hang low. Xatu called him out and Charazard walked to the side. He didn't mind so much that he lost. He figured Lucario or Greninja would last much longer then him anyway. Four down, five left standing.

Everyone was surprised that Meowth has managed to last this long. Maybe he was secretly like one of those lucky cats in China or something. Unfortunately, his luck was starting to run out. His limbs were getting sore due to gravity pushing down on them, and the sun was starting to get in his eyes. Eventually the sun was too much for him and he closed his eyes and rubbed them as Xatu called him out. Five down, four left standing.

Lucario, Greninja, Mewtwo, and Weavile remained. Weavile was starting to get the sun's light in her eyes as well, but it was tolerable. Her claws were starting to sting from being so still for so long. Mewtwo was starting to struggle as he felt the need to move his tail since he was so used to moving it freely. It was starting to get to him and his nerves. Without warning his tail moved and Xatu called him out for it. Mewtwo levitated to the side with everyone else. He thought about the ones he managed to outlast, and he was fine with his loss. Eventually Weavile decided she couldn't last much longer herself and lowered her claws. Xatu called her out and she walked towards everyone else. Seven down, two remain.

Greninja and Lucario, two pokemon who were used to standing still in particular poses. It didn't surprise anyone that it came down to these two, but that didn't stop them from cheering for the two. Eventually Greninja found the one leg he was standing on for his pose was starting to shake. He realized that he was starting to lose his center of balance. He tried to remain calm, but that seemed to only make him panic, which was starting to make him more shaky. Suddenly he flinched and nearly fell, which resulted in Xatu calling him out. Lucario is left standing! And he didn't seem like he was struggling to keep himself up. In fact, he almost looked asleep with his eyes closed calmly like they were. He must have put himself into a trance or something.

Meowth: We have a winner! Lucario!
Lucario: ...Hm? Oh! Uh, I... Well, that wasn't as bad as I thought.
Meowth: Wow Lucario, talk about having a calm mind! Ha! Get it? 😅
Weavile: (shakes head) Wea...

As Meowth checked on what they should do next, the others relaxed and tried to recover from any soreness that they got from standing still.

Meowth: Alright gang, next dare! And this one's interesting! emilycrazy12 wants all of us to make one wish to Jirachi!
Mewtwo: (!) Is that even allowed of us?
Meowth: Well... *shrugs* nothing in the rules goes against it. I checked, believe me. Besides, it'll be fun! Come on!

One moment later at Jirachi's cave

Meowth: Alright. Each of us will write on a sticky note our wish, stick it to Jirachi, then sing to her and, just maybe, our wishes will come true!😄
Pikachu: Pika pika chu pi chu pika? (Wouldn't we disturb Jirachi's thousand year slumber?)
Meowth: According to myth this is ok. Now remember, no wishing for more wishes! And you don't have to share your wishes with everyone if you don't want to. Alright, let's go ahead and write down our wishes!

Everyone began thinking about what to wish for. Both Jigglypuff and Pikachu both had the arguably simplest wishes... to have another blessed year in 2019!

Charazard thought about it. This was tough. One wish, and one wish only. What did he choose to wish for? You're probably thinking he chose to finally be considered a dragon type, right? Actually no. His wish was actually much more thoughtful then that... He wished to continue to inspire many pokemon and trainers for years to come. He felt good about that one.

Meowth thought about his wish. What should he wish for? A girlfriend? Naw. A Mega Evolution? Too ridiculous. A chance to prove he was better then any and all Alolan Meowth? ... That was close. No... he chose to wish for more friends in the future. A loving choice.

Garchomp was seriously thinking about his wish as he had Lucario waiting to write for him. What? Garchomp doesn't have hands, and he was irliterate anyway. Garchomp thought about it, with his claw under his chin and his foot tapping the ground. He eventually decided that'll he'll wish for something everyone wanted... For him to be a Smash Fighter of course! If Charazard and Jigglypuff could get in, why couldn't he? Especially with this wish going for him!

As for Lucario and Greninja, it was clear to them what to wish for... peace and neutrality with the introduction of Ultra Beasts. May their presence help this world as the pokemon do for the humans. Hopefully.

Weavile thought about her wish. She wanted something thoughtful. Something caring. Something worth wishing. Something different from the others. She finally came to a decision. It could be described as unorthodox, but she felt that it should be brought up and should be thought of more.  Weavile wished for... for the spirit of Lost Silver to one day find peace.

Mewtwo was having trouble figuring out a wish. He never really "wished" for anything, and he found the whole thing time wasting anyway. The idea of simply asking someone to make your desires suddenly come true was... out of the question for Mewtwo. He eventually decided that since Jirachi was a fellow psychic type that she- erm, it deserved his time and respect. He figured since it was unlikely that such a "wish" wouldn't come true, that he wished for someone like him. Someone understanding. Caring. Loving dispite his negative aspects. A... significant other... as the humans called it.

Everyone stuck their wishes to Jirachi's cocoon and started humming a special tune for Jirachi. Jirachi didn't necessarily wake up, but there were energy pulses coming from her cocoon, she was at least listening. They decided to leave Jirachi be so that it could do its magic.

Back at the Poke'center

Meowth: Alright. We have a question to answer, and it requires us to read a special book! One of Dragontamer's actually! Year of the Sun Dragon it's called. Hans4475 wants to know what we think of this book of Dragontamer's. Let's read...

Later

Meowth: Well, know that we've all read the book, let's share our opinions! I, for one, thought it was terrific!

Weavile: *pokemon talk* (I thought it was excellent! And I'm not just saying that because Dragontamer is my trainer! So many enjoyable and interesting characters. And it includes Raven! Who wouldn't love this?!)

Pikachu: *pokemon talk* (I find it quite enjoyable, and it definitely has an interesting story going on.)

Jigglypuff: *pokemon talk* (So many adorable creatures and moments!)

Lucario: I found it... interesting. I do believe that the "fight scenes", as everyone calls them, was well portrayed and reasonable.

Greninja: *pokemon talk* (Great read! Definitely something to relax with some fresh water with ya!)

Garchomp: *pokemon talk* (Well, I can't read soooo... But it has dragons and epic fights! And that gives it somewhere between 6 and 10. You may ask if I ever rank anything to 11, and I say... 'the only thing I rank 11 is what I see in a mirror, or anything shiny of course.')

Charazard: *groans* *pokemon talk* (This isn't a pokemon advertisement,  you rockhead. I'm not a big fan of books per se, so I'm not sure actually. I suppose for a book, it's pretty good.)

Mewtwo: Raven has not really mentioned much of what she went through in the other worlds she has visited to me and the others, so I find this book interesting in that aspect. As for the rest of the book, I do find it interesting that these things can be possible, but then my world doesn't necessarily believe in magic as that world does. It's enjoyable, to say the least.
