(We open up in the Kanto region, with Team Rocket breaking into Mt. Moon with a bang, in search for moon stones, fossils, etc. Lently and his Meowth quickly follow the rest of the grunts as they raid Mt. Moon of its goods.)

Lently: *pants as he runs through cave after cave*

Random Grunt near Lently: Everyone spread out and stay safe! This cave has plenty of breakable floors and roofs, so don't be too rough against the cave walls.

Lently: Right, Right....

Grunt: *smirks at Lently* What a lost cause....

(Lently, not really listening, soon found a rare amber fossil in one of the cave walls.)

Lently: *smiles wide* Meowth! Look!

Meowth: *also smiles* Meeeowth!

Lently: Go and get it, you claws are sharp enough to tug it out! Oh man....Giovanni is gonna give us a huge promotion!

(Suddenly, while meowth was pulling out the amber, he was attacked by a strong and fierce Primeape.)

Lently: Ah! *looks at the trainer who owns the primeape*

Trainer: Team Rocket...you no good swines! You should be ashamed of yourselves! Right after I beat you and your meowth to the ground!

Lently: *clumsily gets into a battle ready stance* Th-That's what you think! Meowth, use Fury Swipes!

Meowth: Meeeeowth! owth! owth! owth!

(Primeape dodges all of the attacks and counters back with super effective hard hitting fighting moves. While they were battling, the rest of the team started to retreat with what they had, none of them telling Lently to stop battling and leave.)

Trainer: Lets wrap this up! Primeape, use dig!

Primeape: *digs into the ground*

(As soon as Primeape dug into the ground, the ground around Lently and Meowth began to shatter since there was a small cave below them.)

Lently: MEOWTH NO!! *quickly jumps after Meowth as the ground began to fall into the cave below them*

(Lently and Meowth both hit the cave floor harder than ever, causing them to both get knocked out. When they woke up after some time, they saw that the floor they had fallen from was closed off with fallen rocks.)

Lently: Wh....What...? *stretches awake and looks around* Hello? Is anyone there?

Meowth: Meowth?

Lently: *picks Meowth up and walks around the cave* Not even a single pokemon....*looks up* I can't even remember where we fell from....

Meowth: *gets a bit worried*

Lently: *pets him* Its okay...Im sure Giovanni will see that we're missing, and then he'll send some people to get us, k?

Meowth: *purrs*

(Trying to stay positive, Lently tried to keep hope and pray that Teen Rocket would save him. However, as time ticked on, and hours bled into days, and days into weeks, Lently became more and more hopeless and senseless with each passing day of hope that someone would come for him and Meowth. His body started to lose body fat and blood, thus making him look like a skeleton of his formal self. He had mud slathered over the R on his team rocket uniform, which resembled his hatred for how they neglected him for so long. His eyes were bloodshot, and longing for any type of light. Meowth became the same way, and often times would cry to sleep on the cold cave floor of Mt. Moon.)

Lently: *keeps breathing before falling to his knees and crying* I'm so stupid....this is all my fault....I've lead you and me to this point....why would I pair you with a primeape? I'm such an idiot....*cries even more*

Meowth: *shakes his leg, trying to calm him down*

Lently: It's hopeless....Im worth nothing anymore.....

(Lently then lays down. And began to softly sing this song that would ring throughout the Mountain. The song was

and he would sing it in the same voice as the singer since his throat was dry.)

Meowth: *softly purrs, laying by Lentlys side as he sang*

(As Lently sang, we saw flashbacks of various moments in his life. How he met Meowth, how he joined team rocket with trusting arms, and how he would miss all of his loved ones in his life.)

Lently: *finishes his song, softly smiling that at least his Meowth was still with him*

(Suddenly, a stream of light peered into the cave he was in. A shadow of not-yet-Champion Jay loomed over Lently.)

Jay: Hello. Who are you?

(We cut out seeing Lently and his Meowth smile weakly at their soon to be partner.)
