Previously in Pokemon Chaos and Order...

Ash and Serena arrive at Striaton City, and Ash quickly challenged the Gym. After an embarrassing misunderstanding, Ash is led to the battlefield and challenges the Gym Leader, Cilan.

After finding the perfect strategy, Ash and his Pokemon are able to defeat Cilan's Pokemon, earning Ash the Trio Badge. After winning it, they are attacked by a criminal organization.

Ash swiftly takes care of them and they go blasting off. Ash and Serena then start making their way to Virbank City.

On their way to Virbank City, sight of Ash's second Gym Battle challenge, our heroes have arrived at Route 3. The lush green forest-like pathway that separates Striaton City and the rest of the Unova Region looks completely breathtaking to whoever walks in it.

The two are then faced with a Trainer. He looks to be about their age, he had blond-ish hair and green eyes. He also wore contact lenses. He was wearing a red vest over a grey, short sleeved shirt, under a green long-sleeved one. He had black gloves, long red pants, a belt with Pokeballs in it, and black boots.

Despite many similarities, this is NOT Virgil. I just used him as a character model

"Hi there! It's a pleasure to meet you two! My name is Nate!" The Trainer introduced himself. "And I was curious if one of you could help me Train by having a battle with me!"

Ash quickly stepped up. "OF COURSE! And by the way, my name's Ash! And this is my partner Pikachu!" Ash pointed to Pikachu, who squeaked happily. "Pika Pi!" Serena then stepped forward. "Okay then I'll act as the referee!"

"Great idea!" Ash said. "Thanks Serena!" Ash and Nate then quickly marked a place for the battle and got to opposite sides of it. "Okay then!" Serena stated. "This is going to be a one-on-one Pokemon battle! The battle will be over when the Pokemon of either side is unable to continue!" Serena then quickly turned to Ash.

"How was it?" She asked in a playful tone. "It was great Serena!" Ash replied. "Thanks Ash! Now bring out your first Pokemon!" She said, pointing at Nate, who pulled out a Pokeball.

"Remember, victory isn't everything..." he spoke to the Pokeball. "It's okay if you don't win. Just DO YOUR BEST!" He cried out as he threw his Pokeball forward, releasing the Pokemon he chose.

It was a bipedal, mammalian Pokemon with some plant-like features. It is largely covered in an armor-like shell similar to that of a chestnut. The armor is green in coloration with two large spines jutting out like ears. These spines and its pointed tail have red tips, and there are banded segments on the back of the shell.

The lower half of the body is brown, and it has a three-pointed patch of fur decorating the front. Its stubby limbs are brown, but the top surfaces of the arms are protected by green, banded armor. The face is exposed and unarmored, being light brown in color.

It has a small, pink nose and a pointed snout, with a three-pointed patch of brown fur extending out like hair. Brown triangles mark its cheeks. It was a Quilladin.

"QUILADI DI DIN!" It cried out. "Whoa who's that Pokemon?" Ash asks as he pulls out his Pokedex.

Quilladin, the Spiny Armor Pokemon

The hard shell covering Quilladin's body is so tough, a direct hit from a large truck wouldn't even dent it. Quilladin uses this shell to deflect foes' attacks, and it strikes back with its sharp quills.

"That sounds like a tough Pokemon..." Ash said while searching for the right Pokeball. When Ash finds the one he was looking for he says. "So we're just gonna have to break through that thick shell! SEWADDLE! I CHOOSE YOU!"

Ash threw his Pokeball forward, releasing his Sewaddle. "SEWADDLE!" It cried out, ready for its very first battle. "ALRIGHT! BATTLE BEGIN!" Serena exclaimed, allowing the battle to begin.

"ALRIGHT QUILLADIN LET'S START THINGS OFF WITH BULK UP!" Nate commanded. "QUILLADIN!" Quilladin cried as it started to flex its muscles, becoming surrounded by a red and yellow aura.

"Let's use a status related move too Sewaddle!" Ash exclaimed to his Sewaddle who nodded in agreement. "USE STRING SHOT!" Ash commanded. Sewaddle then took a deep breath and shot out a string of purple silk surrounded by a blue aura, tying up Quilladin.

"SHAKE IT OFF WITH ROLLOUT!" Nate commanded. Quilladin then closed up its body into a ball and it began to roll with constantly increasing speed towards Sewaddle, tearing the String Shot apart.

"QUICK! BLOCK IT WITH RAZOR LEAF!" Ash commanded. Sewaddle's head-leaf then glows green, and as it whips its head back and forth it releases a barrage razor-sharp leaves at the incoming Quilladin.

The Razor Leaf might not be very effective, but it did enough to cause Quilladin to lose control of its Rollout. Quilladin then came flying forward and crashing into a tree.

"QUILLADIN! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Nate asked, worried about his partner. "Quill... QUILLADIN!" Quilladin quickly got up and jumped back to its battling spot with a confident smile on its face (not a creepy one like in the anime)

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT QUILLADIN!" Nate congratulated Quilladin. "NOW USE PIN MISSILE!" He commanded, causing the needles around Quilladin's body to start to glow white and to stiffen up.

The needles then fire white projectiles surrounded by a lime-green aura, headed straight for Sewaddle. "DODGE IT QUICK!" Ash tried to say, one moment too late, as the Pin Missile scored a direct hit with Sewaddle, sending it flying back.

"SEWADDLE NO!" Ash cried out, worried for his Sewaddle. Serena was looking from the sidelines, dreading the moment when she has to say 'Sewaddle is unable to battle'. Then a glimmer of hope arrives for the two, when Sewaddle's body started to glow.

Sewaddle's body began to glow green with lime-green sparkles surrounding it. Sewaddle glowed brighter and brighter until the light burst out of it, revealing a different Pokemon in its place.

It was a round, yellow Pokemon inside of a cloak of leaves. It drapes the leaves over itself and draws them closed around its body, so only a large, crescent slit remains for its face to appear. Under its cloak are darker green, limp leaves which frame the sides of its face and trail down on the sides of its body. The top of the cloak has two semicircular leaves that form a V shape. On its back are the veins of the leaf as well as a bit at the bottom tip of the cloak resembling a rounded tail.

"Swadloon..." it cried with an unenthusiastic tone. Everyone was looking at it, wide-eyed and opened-mouthed, most of them have never witnessed a Pokemon Evolution before, and those that have, haven't witnessed it in a long time.

"Sewaddle... you Evolved?" Ash questioned himself before pulling out his Pokedex.

Swadloon, the Leaf-Wrapped Pokemon, and the evolved form of Sewaddle.

Swadloon's body is covered in leaves which protect it from the cold. In forests where Swadloon live, the trees and grass grow very well.

"Great job Swadloon!" Ash enthusiastically called out to his newly-Evolved Grass/Bug Pokemon. Swadloon turned over to Ash, and smiled to him, ready to finish the battle.

"It may have Evolved, but we're still gonna win!" Nate called out, ready to resume the battle. "That's what you think! SWADLOON, USE STRING SHOT!" Ash counter-attacked Nate's statement and already called out for an attack.

Swadloon then shot out its String Shot, wrapping Quilladin in it. "NEEDLE ARM NOW!" Nate commanded, causing Quilladin's hands to become surrounded by green orbs with for spikes on each one.

Quilladin, still wrapped in Swadloon's String Shot, began to charge at Swadloon. "Swadloon, let's check out your new move 'k?" Ash asked, causing Swadloon to simply nod.

"ALRIGHT! USE PROTECT!" Swadloon then created a bluish-green force field around its body, protecting it from Quilladin's attack. "NOW LET'S WRAP THIS UP! BUG BITE!" Ash commanded, causing Swadloon to pull Quilladin's body closer to it. Swadloon's teeth then started to glow lime-green and it bites down on Quilladin, creating a cloud of dust.

"QUILLADIN NO!" Nate cried out to his Quilladin. When the dust settled, Quilladin was knocked out. Serena gasped in excitement. "QUILLADIN IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! SWADLOON WINS!" She exclaimed, a little bit too excited.

"You did your absolute best Quilladin, return..." Nate returned Quilladin to its Pokeball. Ash and Nate walked to each other and shake their hands.

Serena marvelled at what just happened. "Wow! It's amazing that two Trainers can have a Pokemon Battle and then be friends afterwards!" She murmured as she walks towards Nate to introduce herself properly.

"Thanks for battling with me!" Nate thanked. "Hey! No prob!" Ash responded. "So I guess I'll see ya around! Bye!" He said, but before he could take 10 steps away from the two, the three heard evil giggling.

The three of them started to get worried and scan the area for the source of the giggling. Then they heard this sound coming from a nearby tree:

"Prepare for trouble, you know the drill!" They heard a woman speaking in a sing-song voice.

"And make it double, you'll get the fill!" They heard a man say in the same tone.

"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

The source of the sound then revealed themselves, revealing that they are the same people that attacked the Striaton Gym.

"JESSIE!" The woman said. "And it's JAMES!" The man replied. "TEAM ROCKET blasts off at the speed of light!" The woman said. "Surrender now or prepare for one twerpish fight!" The man replied.

The three then saw what appears to be a Pokemon jump out of the tree. It was a small, feline Pokemon with cream-colored fur that turns brown at the tips of its hind paws and tail. Its ovoid head features four prominent whiskers, wide eyes with slit pupils, two pointed teeth in the upper jaw, and a gold oval coin embedded in its forehead. Its ears are black with brown interiors, and are flanked with an additional pair of long whiskers. The tip of its tail curls tightly.

What shocked the three the most was the fact that the Pokemon spoke. "MEOWTH that's right!" It said, before being followed by a second Pokemon.

It waa a tall, cyan Pokemon with a soft body. Its eyes appear scrunched, and it has a jagged upper lip. It has flat arms that are wider towards the tip and four stubby legs at the base of its body. There are two eyespots on its black tail.

"WOBBUFFET!" It cried out while giving its Trainer a salute. Ash then grits his teeth. "TEAM ROCKET!" He growled in anger. "WHY ARE YOU STILL FOLLOWING ME?!" "Why do you think young twerp?" Jessie answered. "Your Pikachu is a very special Pokemon that we want!" James continued.

"WELL YOU CAN KEEP DREAMING!" Ash roared while pointing forward. "PIKACHU USE THUNDERBOLT AND SWADLOON USE RAZOR LEAF!" Ash commanded his Pokemon, causing them to use their attacks. Pikachu fired a blast of electricity at Team Rocket while Swadloon shot a barrage of razor-sharp leaves.

"WOBBUFFET USE MIRROR COAT!" Jessie commanded Wobbuffet. It then jumped upwards causing its body to become surrounded by a glowing-reflective surface. Wobbuffet then got hit directly by Pikachu's Thunderbolt and Swadloon's Razor Leaf, but it seemed to be unaffected by either of them.

Ash's eyes widened, not knowing what-on-Earth just happened. Wobbuffet's body then began to glow brighter and brighter until the light exploded in a colorful supernova-like flash (similar to the move Dazzling Gleam). The flash hit both Pikachu and Swadloon, damaging the two. Ash was forced to withdraw Swadloon because it was hurt by the previous battle with Quilladin.

Nate knew that Ash couldn't defeat them alone, so he called out one of his Pokemon. "ALRIGHT CHARMANDER DO YOUR BEST!" He called out before hurling the Pokeball forward.

It was a bipedal, reptilian Pokemon with a primarily orange body. Its underside from the chest down and soles are cream-colored. It has two small fangs visible in its upper jaw and two smaller fangs in its lower jaw. It has blue eyes. Its arms and legs are short with four fingers and three clawed toes. A fire burns at the tip of this Pokemon's slender tail.

"CHAR CHAR CHARMANDER!" it growled. Serena looked at the little Fire Type lizard-like Pokemon with sparkling eyes. 'It's sooooooo cute!' She thought to herself before checking the Pokedex.

Charmander, the Lizard Pokémon

When the tip of Charmander's tail burns brightly, that indicates it's in good health.

Team Rocket then took notice of the young girl, and a Jessie whispered to James and Meowth. "If we take her as a hostage of sorts, the Twetp's gonna hand over his Pokemon!" The two giggled before hearing the two boys calling out for an attack.

"PIKACHU USE QUICK ATTACK!" Ash commanded. "CHARMANDER USE FLAME CHARGE!" Nate commanded. "PIKAPIKAPIKAPIKA PIKACH PIKACHU PIKA!" Pikachu squeaked before becoming surrounded by a bluish-white aura and lunging at Wobbuffet with incredible speed.

Charmander repeatedly stomps on the ground until a cloud of dust covers its body. Then, it emerges from the cloud while surrounded by an orb of red-yellow flames and it charges going faster and faster towards Wobbuffet.

Jessie and James then pulled out one Pokeball (each) and hurled them forward while calling out for their Pokemon. "LET'S GO MIMIKYU!" "O-KAY INKAY!" They both exclaimed as they released their Pokemon. One of them was a Ghost Type Pokemon so Pikachu's Quick Attack just passed through it with no touch, and the other used Protect, causing Charmander's Flame Charge to have no effect.

Jessie's Pokemon was small with a body that is almost entirely hidden under a rag. Its beady black eyes are visible through holes in the body of its disguise, and the fringe of an amorphous foot or lower body appears to be visible under the hem of its rag. The veil itself resembles a Pikachu. The cloth is yellow with black tipped ears. The Pikachu face appears to be drawn with crayons, consisting of black eyes, red cheeks, and a squiggly black mouth. It also carries a small stick resembling a lightning bolt to create a tail for its costume.

James' Pokemon was a primarily blue and squid-like. It has a transparent mantle that resembles a hat with a pink "inner body" overlaid with yellow lights. It has two tendril-like tentacles that hang from this "hat", similar to some styles of winter hats, and these tentacles hang next to its six short arms. Its eyes are round and have pupils, but no identifiable iris. Inkay also has a small, pink, beak-like mouth set between its eyes.

'These are new...' Ash thought to himself before scanning the two Pokemon to his Pokedex.

Inkay, the Revolving Pokemon

It draws prey near with its blinking lights and then wraps them up in its long tentacles and holds them in place.

Mimikyu, the Disguise Pokemon

It wears a ragged head cover to look like a Pikachu, but little is known about this Pokemon. It's said that a scholar who once tried to look inside met his end.

'They're both pretty dangerous...' Ash thought to himself. 'We're gonna have to be extra careful about them!' Before Ash could finish that train of thought, James commanded his Inkay to, "USE PSYCHIC! On the twerpette!"

"Inkay Ink!" Inkay cried before its eyes began to glow a cyan color before its body becomes surrounded by a light-blue aura. Serena then becomes surrounded by the same blue aura, as she loses control of her own body. "Wha... What's going on?!" She asked, freaking out, causing Ash and Nate to look at her.

With its mind Inkay violently yanks Serena to Team Rockets side of the Battlefield. "SERENA!" Ash gasped. "LET HER GO!" Ash yelled. "Why of course we will!" Jessie said. "That is if you give up your Pokemon..." James continued. "Thanks in advance for your Twerpish support!" Meowth finished.

Ash growls for a couple more seconds before realizing that there's nothing he can really do. He collapses to the ground and takes out his Pokeballs, to the shock of all of the people and Pokemon around him, including Team Rocket.

"Well then what'd'ya know... The Twerp actually cares about the Twerpette..." Meowth said in surprise. "Maybe we should do stuff like this more often..." Jessie joked. "I said I'll give you my Pokemon if you let Serena go!" Ash growled. "SO LET! HER! GO!" He said with gritted teeth.

Serena never saw Ash so angry (kinda feating since she thinks they've only known each other for about 5 days) and she realized that he was willing to straight up GIVE HIS POKEMON, to people he told her are REAL BAD GUYS, just to save her. All doubt that she had in her mind about wether or not to trust Ash has washed away. She knows he's not faking the fact that he cares for her. 'Unlike someone I know...'

"SERPERIOR USE ENERGY BALL!" The group plus Team Rocket heard a male voice command, then suddenly a Pokemon appeared. It was a primarily pale green, serpentine Pokemon. Its face and throat are white, while its back is dark green. Curled, mint-colored patterns extend into the white portion of its face, and it has narrow red eyes. In the lower jaw, two fangs are visible when its mouth is open. There are two pointed yellow extensions on the back of its head. Coiled, dark green extensions spread out from the sides of its lower neck, forming a curving pattern lower down the body. Just below its neck, it has two small leaf-like protrusions coming out of either side. It has curved yellow markings around its middle and several palmate leaves on its tail.

"Sssssss Serperior!" It hissed before forming a green ball of energy in its mouth, and firing two balls of energy at Inkay and Mimikyu, releasing Serena from the Psychic prison she was being held at.

"Now Serperior!" He said. "USE FRENZY PLANT!" Serperior then hissed before slamming its tail to the ground with incredible force, causing powerful shockwaves to hit Team Rocket, before gigantic green/brown roots with a resemblance to tree-trunks start to fly out of the ground and hit the terrified members of Team Rocket.

"Well... THAT was unexpected..." James said while flying in the air. "Well look at the bright side..." Jessie kept being optimistic. "We have one more powerful Pokemon to hunt down for the Boss!" "Yeah but before that we have some problems headed our way..." Meowth said with a weird tone. "And which way is that?" James asked. "Guess..." Jessie teased. "WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" They cried out with their Pokemon before disappearing into the sky, leaving a sparkle in their place.

The boy with Serperior then returned it to its Pokeball and walked forward. He had pale grey eyes and dirtly-blond hair (resembling green). He was wearing a purple sleeveless hoodie under an orange long-sleeved jacket.he had grey pants and black shoes. He also had a camera that he carries everywhere.

Serena was about to thank the boy who saved her and Ash's Pokemon. That is until... she looked at his face. Serena's goofy smile suddenly turned to a face of pure horror, as ahe leaped to Ash, hoping that he'd keep his promise and protect her.

Ash thought that it was weird that Serena was so scared by him. "Hey I know you..." Ash said in realization. "You're the guy who beat me in that Pokeathalon in Nuvema Town!" The boy smiled (a smile that looked genuine) "Trip Shooty, at your service!" He said in a kind voice while shaking Ash's hand, all the while Serena looked terrified, and Nate looked suspicious.

Hey there fellow writers and readers! So now you're probably wondering why I keep describing every new Pokemon with great detail. Well it's because I go by Stan Lee's saying "Every Comic is someone's first!" And even though this isn't a comic but I can add images I want to fill at least 3000 words in each Chapter and I'd rather do that than think of character development. BECAUSE I'M LAZY! ;) Here's the summary for Part 2:

Ash meets up with a 'friend' of his from the past, Miette. After reuniting with Trip and Miette and giving a lot of attention to them Ash notices that Serena is scared silly by Trip. He comforts her and she tells him about her past. How will this affect our heroes? How does Nate fit into all of this? Are Trip and Miette really friends or are they foes?
