"Lily..." A voice said in Lily's dream.
    "Wha?"
    "Anot..r wor.. n..ds y... he.." they said urgently, the words broken up.
    "W-What are you saying?!" she shouted.
    "..."
There was no response. Suddenly, a blinding flash of light seared through Lily's brain as she woke, curled upon soft, warm sand. Her eyes were closed tightly as she processed her dream.
    "Hello!" someone called out, breaking her out of her trance.
    "Is anyone there?" he said loudly. Lily opened her eyes to see an ocean and golden sand. She tried to stand, but fell onto her hands and feet. She carefully turned around to see a pink fluffy tail bouncing with her movements. She looked down to see a kitten's paws.
    "What happened?!" Lily cried out. She ran towards the ocean on four paws, her strides fast and fluid as if she had been moving like that for years. She looked at her reflection and screamed.
    "I-I-I'm a Skitty!" she cried out, backing away. The Skitty tripped over something and she gasped as she hit the ground.
    "Ow..!" a male voice said, in pain. He stood up as Lily got to her paws.
    "I-I'm not used to being a Pokemon... Sorry..." she said. The blue and black Pokemon tilted his head.
    "Excuse me?" he asked, "A-Are you okay?! Did you hit your head?"
    "N-No!" Lily cried out, "I'm a human!"
    "You look like a Pokemon to me..." he said.
    "I had a weird dream and now I'm here, but I still remember my life! I live in..." The Skitty trailed off, "W-Well, my mom and dad are named..." Lily stopped. "I-I don't remember!"
    "Hey, it's okay! I believe you!" the other Pokemon said quickly. "I mean, why would you lie?" he added. Then, he extended a paw. "I'm Aura. Aura the Riolu." he smiled.
    Lily reached out her own paw. "Lily." she replied, shaking his paw as if they were holding hands.
"So, Lily, do you know why you are here?" Aura asked. The Skitty shook her head.
"I have no idea."
"Hmm..." the Riolu sighed. Then, he smiled. "You can make an exploration team with me!"
"Exploration... Team?" Lily asked. Aura looked shocked.
"You don't know about exploration teams? Oh my Arceus. Well, we are right near Moonlight Town, the proud founder of the Galaxy Guild! It's right up on that mountain!" the Riolu told her, pointing to a building on top of a rocky ridge.
"That's cool." Lily said, but she was just lying to make Aura feel better.
"They go out on explorations to rescue other Pokemon! It's amazing, what they do. The Guild is currently run by a shiny Umbreon named Galaxy, after her great grandmother who was the first Guildmaster." He said reverently. "The teams join the Guild and help Pokemon who put up requests, they explore the Mystery Dungeons for treasure, and fight bandits! I've always wanted to make a team, but you need two for that. No one else wanted to sign up with me."
"I will." the Skitty said immediately. After Aura had finished explaining, she changed her mind and wanted to make a team with him. The Riolu looked at her happily.
"You will? You really will?!" he cried out. Lily nodded, smiling.
"It's a wonderful idea! I'd love to help Pokemon in need." she replied. Aura grinned.
"Thank you so much, Lily! We are gonna be the best team ever!" the Riolu cheered.
