Lily and Aura turned to face each other, excited grins quickly spreading across their faces. Galaxy let out a soft chuckle of amusement before glancing to the side and noticing the picture of two Eevee's. Her jubilant mood was muted for a moment, her eyes tearing up before she wiped her eyes with her paw and her expression lightened again.
"We did it!" Aura cheered, "We joined the Galaxy Guild!" he elaborated, and his enthusiasm was not wasted on Lily. The Skitty was nearly bouncing with the anticipation.
"This is gonna be amazing!" she cried out happily. The Riolu could barely believe that they would be working alongside the fabled shiny Umbreon.
"Thank you so much, Miss Galaxy!" he said and bowed his head reverently. Galaxy looked confused.
"Please, you don't need to be so formal. Here, we are all equals," the shiny Umbreon said kindly. Aura nodded and straightened his head.
"I'm just so excited to be here," he said mareepishly. She smiled.
"That's understandable, but even with team ranks, we are explorers and adventurers. Not even I am above you," she told him gently. The Riolu grinned.
    "Thanks, Galaxy."

"Hey, are you two newbies?" a blue Zangoose asked. He was eating a Perfect Apple that was likely stolen, and he was draped across the Request Board. "We could always use some new Pokemon to take the attacks."
"Zeo, that's not how you should be speaking to members of your Guild," a Chesnaught said to the one named Zeo.
"What? It was just a joke," the Zangoose grinned, "Probably." The Chesnaught sighed. He was dressed like a performer with his mystical dark green cape and hat.
"You'll have to excuse him. Sadly, he is always like this."
    "Not true, Atlas!"
"Zeo, may I talk to them without you interrupting?" The Zangoose rolled his eyes, but except for the occasionally mockery of Lily and Aura, he obliged.
"So, uh... I'm Aura, and this is Lily. We just joined the Guild as  Team Hope!" Aura said. Zeo held in a condescending scoff and instead settled for mouthing the word 'awkward'. Lily bared her teeth at him, and the shiny Zangoose burst out laughing, falling off of the board.
"It is nice to meet you! I am Atlas, and I used to travel as a performer, but I chose to stay here and entertain the Pokemon of Midnight Town," the Chesnaught explained after a worried glance at Zeo.
"Cool!" Lily said enthusiastically. The Zangoose glared at her, and Atlas sighed.
"Zeo, you said you wanted to go exploring with me?" he said urgently. The shiny Pokemon's eyes lit up.
"Yeah! Come on, let's go!" he cheered, leading the Chesnaught away. Before they left, he turned and stuck his tongue out at the partners.
    "That was... something," Lily commented.
"Yeah," Aura sighed. Then he brightened again, saying "Let's go do our first request!"

"My name is Scale. I'm lost here in the Lunar Cave, around the fifth floor.
I don't have much to offer you, although I have 300(use the ruble sign here) and a Mystic Ribbon.
Please come as quickly as you can!"

Aura reached up and pulled the small white paper off of the board. "Lily, look!" he exclaimed. "This one seems like it will be pretty easy!"
"I see you are already going to head on an adventure," Galaxy said, "To rescue another Pokemon." Her eyes held a kind of resigned joy, indicating something had made her sad. One of her cheeks had a quickly drying trail of salty water.
"Yeah, we are!" the Riolu said happily. Lily looked at the shiny Umbreon with worry.
"Are you alright, Galaxy?" the Skitty asked. The Guildmaster nodded quickly.
"Yes," she began, "I'll be fine. Go complete the request. I'm sure you'll have no trouble with it."

The partners entered the cave, a soft blue glow illuminating their faces. Lily looked around at their surroundings reverently, her eyes holding her excitement. Words of awe and amazement were on the tip of her tongue when she was knocked back by an impossibly fast ball of green energy.
"Ah!" Lily cried out, the sound only lasting a second before the word was knocked out with her breath. The Skitty slammed against the chamber wall, her vision darkening for a moment.
"You'll pay for that!" Aura shouted, looking for the source. In his mind, he could see the aura of a Snivy. He rushed towards it, his mind's eye being his guide. He Tackled the Pokemon, and the force of his run was enough to knock it out.
Lily pushed herself to her feet and shook her head, clearing it of her dizziness.
"Lily, this way!" Aura called. The Skitty nodded and shakily walked towards his voice. When she reached him, the Riolu placed his paw on her back to help steady her as she stumbled on the stone floor beside him.
"The path splits in two right here," Lily noticed.
"Let's try left," he suggested, helping the Skitty walk down the path. They entered a large room, soft light washing over their faces. Lily lifted a paw to point at the small hole in the floor.
"There," she said. Aura nodded and supported her as they slowly walked down the stairs.

Immediately, they were in another room. A Jangmo-o was pacing the rocky floor when he saw them.
"Thank you!" he cried out, handing them their reward. Aura put the money and ribbon into his bag. "As another token of appreciation, let me tell you where a special place is! It's called the Sunlit Desert. I've only been once, but it seems perfect for you two explorers," Scale said happily.

"Goodbye!" Lily called after the retreating dragon type. Scale turned and waved. Aura smiled, before looking up at the sky.
"That's odd... the moon came out early tonight," He said, and shrugged. "I'm tired. Let's go get something to eat and then go to sleep," aura added. Lily nodded in agreement.

"Goodnight, Lily. Let's go find the Sunlit Desert tomorrow," he yawned and closed his eyes.
"Goodnight, Aura," the Skitty replied, quickly falling into a slumber.
