We walked for a while until we saw some trees in front of us. Two large ones beside us crossed making and X-like shape. I thought it was a dead end, but then (partner) put his/her paw on one tree and pulled it back.

Beyond it was a big cheerful-looking town. (Partner) let go of the tree and whispered to me...

"Be careful, 'He' doesn't like newcomers. Do what I say, don't say anything, and stay out of sight!"

He/she seemed very serious and scared me a little. (Partner) again pulled the tree and be both walked through. It looked cheerful, but noone seemed happy. They looked more afraid and sorrowful.

As we went through town, we didn't realize that a round, ghost pokemon was invisibly watching us.

I kept walking and heard something loud, booming from above.
Wind blew against my face hard, almost pulling me back. I squinted my eyes until the wind died down then opened them. A large, psychic, alien-like Pokémon was looking at me- and he didn't look happy!

"Who is this?!!! Attack!!!!" Mewtwo yelled at me before a purrloin jumped out!

"Mrrreeeow!" It cried fiercely.

It launched at me with scratch attack before I realized it. I fell to the ground but got back up. Before I could do anything, it used fury swipes at me. It hit 4 times! I tried dodging attacks but I wasn't in practice nor quick enough.

"Get 'em back! Attack!" (Partner) yelled.

I heard some Pokemon whispering

"Why isn't he/she attacking?"

I had seen Pokémon attacking in battles so I wondered if I could do it. I concentrated, then released a weak (main move). The purrloin excepted too little of me and didn't dodge in time. It didn't do much though.

I tried a different attack, this time I ran up against the target quickly and used quick attack! I was stronger than I thought! It knocked the purrloin down.

I knew I had won and walked up to the purrloin victoriously. When I got close though, it jumped up and used pursuit! It was surprisingly clever! I didn't expect and was knocked down. I lay weak, but trying to use purrloin's method.

" Haha, you think I'd really fall for that? I just did it!" Purrloin cackled.

I jumped up at it using quick attack and replied

"Nope, but it was worth a try!"

Purrloin charged power and used a very powerful payback. I saw it heading at me fast- what do I do now? And fast!
