Normal Pov

You were traveling with your two best friends, Alain and Mairin, around the Kalos Region.

"I have to get to training. The Kalos League is coming up soon, so Y/N would you mind to keep an eye on Mairin for me?" Alain says emotionless like always, as you all stop in front of a Pokémon Center in Luminose City.

"Alain~! Don't treat me like a baby!" Mairin says upset.

"Don't worry Mairin, we're gonna have lots of fun without him" you say, definitely cheering her up, Alain rolling his eyes.

"Hmpf, you're right! Let's go Y/N-chan!" Mairin grumbled before taking your hand and walked into the Pokémon Center.

"Dedenne wait!"

"Pikachu!"

Before being able to realise what was going on, a small, you assumed Pokémon, jumped onto your face, basically smacking it.

Soon another Pokémon, slightly bigger and heavier, also landed on your face as you landed on the floor.

"...Ouch." Was all you said.

"A-Are you okay?!" Someone panicked, followed by Mairins voice.

You couldn't see anything until the two Pokémon finally got off your face.

"I'm really really sorry! Dedenne got scared and ran off!" A blonde girl, looking Mairins age, apologised.

"No problem" you said simply as you sat up.

"Are you sure?" Another girl, this one looked more your age, just as the other two guys with them did, said concerned.

"Yeah really it's nothing, don't sweat it" you said reassuring.

"Here, let me help you" the boy with black hair wearing a red and white cap said, offering you to take his hand.

You took his hand as he pulled you up, "Thanks", the girl wearing the red hat blushed madly at it.

...

The crew invited you and Mairin to eat with them as an apology.

In your point of view, they were exaggerating a little, i mean, it were only two small Pokémon who jumped on your face.

But well, if you get the chance of free food you won't refuse.

"We haven't introduced ourselves, my name is Clemont and this is my little sister Bonnie" the guy with the glaces said, then pointed on the younger blonde girl who apparently was his sister.

"I'm Ash Ketchum, from Pallet Town", The one who helped you up before said, giving you a cheerful smile, "And this is my buddy Pikachu".

"Hi I'm Serena, nice to meet you" The shy-sounding girl said softly.

"My name is Mairin!" Your travel companion cheered.

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you too" you smiled, more like smiled at Ash personally, a certain person eyeing the situation.

"Thanks for inviting us to eat with you" you said after Clemont put the different meals on the table.

"No problem!"

"So.. are you guys on a journey?" You asked after grabbing a sandwich.

"Yeah, I'm collecting the gym badges and my friends are tagging along" Ash said after swallowing his sandwich, not the entire one of course.

"That's cool! Alain does that too right?" Mairin cheered, turning to you.

You nodded.

You kept talking about yourselves as you ate and every time you talked directly to Ash or he to you, your heart started racing.

Also, eyes of a certain person started staring at you, more like glaring.

What was that feeling anyway? Love at first sight? Or maybe just a tiny crush?

Yeah that probably must be it.

"Your Pikachu is so cute!" You said sweetly after Ash had allowed you to pet his Pokémon.

"He is, huh?" he chuckled.

You felt those disturbing eyes fixated on you.

"What is her problem?!" You thought irritated.

As you glanced at Serena, then at Ash.

"Ah.. i get it.." you said internally.

But your mental conversation was soon interrupted by a familiar voice;

"Mairin, Y/N? We should get going"

It was Alain, he was standing at nurse joy's counter.

"Yeah coming!" You shouted.

"He always comes to ruin the fun" Mairin grumbled as she was forced to stop playing with Bonnie and her Dedenne.

"I guess bye guys, hope to see you again" you smiled as they all came to say goodbye.

"Yeah maybe we'll meet again at the League" Ash said, Clemont and Bonnie nodded, only Serena was standing there, probably only waiting for you to leave her alone with her sweetheart.

Just as you and Mairin were about to reach Alain, a teasing idea popped into your mind.

"Ah, Ash?" You said, hurrying back to him.

"What is it-.." he stopped as soon as you gave him a peck on the cheek.

"This one is for staring at me the whole time Serena-chan" you thought and smirked as you pulled away.

Everyone gasped, Ash blushed and so did Serena, in jealousy.

"Bye~" you hummed before getting back to Mairin and Alain who didn't quite get the situation.
