For one of Pokémon's biggest mistakes....

Why is it GRASS type?!

This has bugged me for years and I routinely call it LEAF type for some strange reason. It makes sense right? It's something that I've always done and my sister even did it. (Granted she doesn't really know Pokémon and probably heard me say it at some point)

And all the major grass type moves start with leaf. Most of the other main moves have the type in the name. The only move I can think of is grass knot. That's all.

Maybe I'm just an idiot but I honestly think I have a point.

Anyone else think it should be called leaf type?
