I think ship name is FirstFriendShipping but I wasn't sure. This might be bad because I didn't do for so long but better late than never, right? Enjoy!

(If anyone has any to tell about the two and their relationship because I don't have access to the anime)

Gou watched with fascination as his chestnut eyes fluttered open. He could stare at them all day, especially since Ash never noticed, somehow.

"...Are you alright?", he mumbled with folded arms, trying to look blunt.

It took the younger one a while to realise his friend and two Pokemon anticipating his awaken, and shake off the cold towel on his forehead.

"Take it easy", suggested Gou as the other forced himself up, "You need to rest"

"Haven't I been resting already?"

"Why are so you eager to get out of bed?"

"The sun's still out, right?"

"If you really think you can just go out there and train-"

"No, not training. Sunset!"

Gou leaned back with embarrassment burning his face. He really sounded like a boyfriend being so protective.

"You...you want to see sunset?"

"Mhm"

His mind trailed off wondering what he could make out of Ash's love for sunset. Maybe that's when he could confess? Oh, how romantic it would be. He was lost in his thoughts when he hard a yelp.

"Ash!"

Without thinking, Gou swerved down to grab the other trainer as he fell. One hand reached his back, the other his waist. Ash supported himself using his shoulders. How close their faces were, it looked like they were about to-

"Steady. I'll walk you there"

"N-No, it's fine. I can-"

"I'm not taking no for an answer, Ash. Please"

Hoisting him up to help him stand, Gou's hands slid from the boy's torso to his arms, although he'd liked the position earlier. Within seconds, they made it to a small hill outside, facing the horizon. 

"...It was way too easy carrying you up", Gou broke the silence as he sat, "You have a lot of weight to gain"

"You're so cute when you worry like that", Ash chuckled, "Besides, why do you think I like to eat?"

He still didn't manage to notice the rosy colours on the other's face. Cute?! Even now Ash was proving how dense he was, but he just called him cute? It must've been misheard...

"Of course you'd say that", he stammered.

The sky began to dim as the moon shone through. Ash found himself falling back against the hill, throwing his hand at the other as he fell. Nothing changed, so he opened his palm wide enough for Gou to get the idea. Silently, their fingers slid into each other. It was enjoyable for the both of them, simply wondering if the other felt the same.

He was exhausted. As much as Ash wanted to stay awake, everything around him began to blur. Gou took the chance to allow himself to close his own eyes.  He felt movement, and something warm consume him, but he assumed he was just falling asleep. Until he came to, and it was much different. 

Legs and fingers intertwined as Ash made himself comfortable—after Gou, of course. It wasn't easy with his head resting on his chest, their whole bodies affectionately glued. 

Of course, it was wholesome. Like a hug. Aren't these people, like, 12 or something? Where is your mind?

"Can you hold me again?", Ash whispered with his face buried in Gou's shoulders.

Oh, why the hell not. Ash was making all the moves. The compliment, holding hands, and now this giant thing of a hug. It was Gou's turn.

With a relaxed smile, he wrapped his arms around the body on top of him.

"I'll even carry you inside, you little baby"

I feel like that was bad, but this is the third story I wrote on these two trying to make it my best, so I guess third time is the charm?

Again, I know I said this before, but this should've been done earlier, I left it for about two months, and as the people who support me and my content, you deserve better.
