I don't know if this ship has a name or what it is if it does have one, so if anyone knows please tell me. Enjoy!

 Ash burst into the living room, full of excitement. Kiawe and Professor Kukui watched as he pulled out and Pokeball and released the Pokemon inside.

"Professor, this is my Greninja! I had it in Kalos, then I had to give it up so it could help Zygarde. But now, I got it back!"

"Interesting", Kukui mumbled as he examined the Greninja. 

It stood close to Ash, maintaining a guard-like stance. As if it was protecting him.

"It looks, um, strong. You must've raised it well", Kiawe said, looking at Ash to see if he appreciated or even noticed the compliment.

"I might use it in the League. It's staying here with me from now on!"

Greninja happily celebrated with its reunited Trainer along with the Professor. It looked to the other man in the room, to see if he'd join too, but he seemed too flustered to even talk to Ash. Let alone look at him. And he was blushing a little too much...

Unbeknownst to most people, Greninja was actually a very smart Pokémon. So when it saw the way Kiawe looked at and talked to Ash, it knew immediately that he had feelings for him. But that didn't mean he was going to be happy about it.

Ash sat on the bed, cross-legged, simultaneously playing with Pikachu and drifting off to sleep, which Greninja noticed and made sure there were no distractions. Well, until Kiawe broke into the room, startling Ash to wake. Greninja glared at the intruder with wide, threatening eyes, clenching his fists, which gave off the same vibe of danger as someone sharpening their knife. Kiawe suddenly felt all of his bravery and confidence flush down his stomach as his eyes were locked with Greninja's unable to look away, even if he really wanted to.

"Oh, hey, Kiawe. What's up?"

"Oh, um, I'm a little bored, you know? I was wondering maybe if we could, uh..."

"Battle?"

"Yeah, if that's okay?"

"Of course!"

While it's Trainer was completely unaware of the tension going on in front of him, Greninja's glare of death became even more menacing. A battle? No way. There were so many things Kiawe could do to hurt Ash in a battle. Then again, there were more things it could do to hurt him in a battle. Alright then.

Ash and Kiawe stood on either side of the field. Greninja stood in front of it's Trainer, still subtly threatening the one who had a crush on him, while Kiawe's Charizard trembled in fear. To be fair, it had the type disadvantage.

"Greninja, water shuriken!", Ash yelled.

Greninja obeyed its trainer. Its terrified opponent couldn't even move, and was knocked out by the sudden attack.

"Huh? It fainted already?", Ash questioned.

"Yeah...weird, right?", Kiawe agreed after walking up to his crush, half-staring at the intimidating Pokemon.

"Say, Ash...you wanna, um, go out to get some food?"

"Hm? Oh, sure! Let's go!"

As soon as Ash said yes, Greninja's stare suddenly became softer. It was like he was never angry in the first place.

Wait, so he wasn't staring because he didn't like Kiawe being with Ash? He was getting angry waiting for him to ask him out? Oh my gosh. Seriously, Kiawe. I wrote 500 words for this. Well, at least they went out eventually.

First of all, someone requested this more than a WEEK AGO!!! I am sooooo sorry I'm only getting it done now. I had started it earlier, but then got distracted and forgot about it. MASSIVE apologies to the person who asked me to do it.

Second, sorry for breaking the fourth wall. I don't know if I did, but I think I did with that last paragraph.

Third, I made an announcement about this, but PEOPLE ARE MAKING VIDEOS ABOUT ASH'S CHARACTER ENDING!!! I'm freaking out. I don't want it to happen! Ash needs to be in the Galar Region!
