Ash and his friends were having dinner with Sycamore, Mairin and Alain to meet with them one last time before they left. Ash, unnoticed, pushed his full plate back and left the table. Alain followed him to the balcony.

"Nice view, huh?", he said to the younger boy as he made his way next to him.

"Yeah..."

"You enjoyed your journey here?"

"I guess..."

"Excited to go home..."

"Probably..."

Awkward silence hung in the air before Alain felt Charizard's Pokeball open. They both friend around to look at the orange creature.

"Charizard, what are you-"

Before Alain could finish his sentence, Ash was sliced with a dragon claw. Charizard roared in its shocked trainer's face, before handing him a note and some bits of gold. The note read:

'Greninja used cut on your trophy. 

Don't worry, I got a new one made.

It's not the one you were given, but it's the best I can do.

It must've been jealous, so it hasn't come out of its Pokeball since.

Charizard thinks I did it.

Not like I blame him, since me and Greninja and really close.

Alain squeezed the tear stained note in his hand, while Charizard proudly stared at his trainer's injured crush, who had collapsed, his blood leaking across the floor. Alain turned from sadness, to anger, to disappointment, to hate. He abruptly stood up and kicked Charizard in the toe, making it wince in pain while its trainer held Ash in his arms.

Ambulances were arriving soon. Ash's friends just had to watch everything happen from below, where they got a perfect view of Alain crying into Ash's slit throat.

"The worst part...", he whimpered while he stared at Ash's unconscious face, "the worst part is that...that I remember telling it to do that..."

*I know this is bad and it's short but I have lots of ideas and I'm trying to figure out how to write them down, so this is what I'm giving you in the meantime*
