In fact, she could possibly be the most powerful trainer in the Region.

<Sora's POV • Goldenrod City • Apartment complex; 2f>

The rays of sunshine shone through the glass in one of the windows of my apartment, filling most of the room with light. "Typhlo." Soul, My Typhlosion, began shaking me. I was still asleep, curled up under the covers. "Ngh..." I mumbled, still asleep. "Ty..." I heard a slight growl. Even though my Pokemon had growled, I still didn't wake up. "Ty.... PHLOSION!" He shouted, pulling the blanket off of my bed, the sunlight taking effect as I almost hissed. "Ty. Typhlosion." I sat up as I opened my eyes, letting them adjust. My Pokemon gave me a look of disappointment, as he pointed to my clock. "It's 10:30, and...?" I asked. "Ty. Typhlo!" He continued to point at the clock, then pointed at my phone. I checked my phone, pulling up the time, and entering my passcode as I scrolled through my notifications. "....oh... NOOOO!" I said, panicking. I instantly got up, leaving my phone on my bed, as I headed for the bathroom to take a shower.

I was supposed to meet Lance and Morty an hour ago...

After I took a shower, I brushed my hair, and teeth, and got dressed in my usual outfit. A dark red jacket, with a black tee underneath, a pair of navy blue skinny jeans, and my black converse. "IM SO STUPIIIID!" I said, as I put my long brown hair in low ponytails. I looked into the mirror, and smiled. My orange eyes didn't ever match any outfits I wore, but I didn't care. I opened the door of the bathroom, about to walk out. I stopped. Soul was at the door, holding out my phone for me to grab. It was buzzing, probably getting spammed with texts. I checked them, and they were from Lance.

Lance: Where are you?

"CRAP!" I shouted, typing a reply.

Sora: SORRY! I overslept! Won't happen again I promise.

I tapped send, then sighed. I grabbed my bag as my Typhlosion followed me out the door of my apartment. I locked the door, before taking the elevator to the lobby. "Have a nice day!" The lady at the reception desk smiled, as I waved, and exited the building. 'Alright, if my memory serves correct, then they should be in front of the Pokemon Center...' I thought, dashing over to the Pokemon Center. And I was right! Lance and Morty were waiting for me out front! "Hey guys! Sorry!" I said, walking over to them. "Took you long enough." Lance laughed. Lance is the Champion of the Johto and Kanto regions. He specializes in Dragon types, and he's always accompanied by one, or all three of his Dragonite. "Hey." I pouted. "I'm just joking, it happens." He said, as his Dragonite cheered. "As long as you're awake, I suppose." Morty smiled. Morty is the Gym Leader of Ecruteak city, and he's a Ghost-type Pokemon specialist. As for me, I use different types of Pokemon, rather than sticking to one specific type. "Well, now that we're all here, let's go see victory road!" Lance smiled, walking ahead. "I'd rather go to the Burned Tower." Morty said. "Yeah, I've been to Victory road more times than I can count." I sighed. "W-well then, to the burned tower, I guess!" Lance said, turning to face us with a nervous smile. "Something wrong?" Morty asked, raising an eyebrow. "N-no, I'm fine." He said, sighing before he  continued to walk ahead. "Something is definitely wrong." I ran up to him. "It's just that the Elite Four and I did some remodeling, and found more caves." He said. "Really?" I asked. I loved exploring, so this was good news to me. "Okay, now I wanna go and see!" I grinned. "Cmon Morty." I gestured for him to follow. "Alright, I suppose we can go." He said, a kind smile on his face, as per usual. "Alright! To Victory road!" Lance said, as I cheered.
