A girl with dark blue hair woke up and stretched out a bit. She looked at the calendar taped to the wall and smiled.

"Time to start my adventure."

Today was the day that she, Ralina Valkaria, would become a Pokemon Trainer. She quickly took her shower, got dressed and went downstairs.

Her mom was waiting for her. "Good morning, Ralina. Are you all set for your adventure?"

"Yes, Mom." Ralina hugged her mom tightly.

Her mom whispered, "Did you cover your mark?"

Ralina nodded. There was a mark on her right arm that hid a secret about her. Ralina made a promise to never show anyone other than her mom.

"Ok, here's your phone, and some food. Be safe, Ralina. I love you."

"I love you too, Mom." Ralina walked outside and waved goodbye to her mother.

She took a deep breath. "Here I go."

Ralina walked to Professor Sycramore's place, and knocked on the door.
