Chapter 10: Aftermath

Everything was crazy during yesterday and today. The police came in, arresting Dagger, and  charging him with kidnapping, and sexual assault along with domestic abuse. According to paramedics, Lee had multiple bruises around his side, and a black eye. Flaire, Sinzo and everyone else were relieved that Kaiser was found alive but both parent were completely hostile towards Dagger after finding out what he did, mostly Sinzo's hostility was shown almost revealing his true form. Kaiser was admitted into the hospital after blackling out from everything. He had to stay in the hospital for some time, mostly for checkups and getting tested, and getting questioned by the police to get more information about Dagger or the setting.

"So, how long do I need to stay here for again?" Kaiser mumbled trying not to disturb his sleeping siblings in the room.

Flaire just rubbed his head. "Just until we get an all clear so you can be discharged," She reminded him.

Kaiser just nodded before sittingp j in the hospital bed. After a while of sitting in a room filled with quiet with his mother, his siblings soon begun to wake up one by one so now the room wasn't as quite as it was now. His father, Sinzo and his older brother, Camael had came in.

"Well for starters," Camael said holding a clipboard. "You're free to go. Everything has been cleared. So no need to worry."

The family sighed with relief and squeezed Kaiser in a tigher hug which he galdy accepted. After being released they headed back except for Camael who stayed behind to finish his shift. On their way home Kaiser had bought a make-up platte with the shades of grays but it was only used for to cover up the freckles around his face which was painful for him but it had to be done. Regardless of his family trying to make him to reconsider but he didn’t budge so they accepted. Kaiser did promise that he'll reveal his freckles again when he was ready.

The Shurikens decided it would be best to head to the Diamond Dimensions to had back to their kingdoms. The Dimensions were special to the Shurikens, not only because it was there home but for all pokémon including hybrids were free to roam around so they won't be judge or hunted down, even allow them to have jobs to feed their families. Each Shurikens ruled their own kingdom; Asher was the ruler of Laker Valley, Chaser was ruling over the Dawn Kingdom, Angelica ruling the Mist Springs, Zarifa ruling the Sunset Meadows, Snowflake was ruling beside her parents in the main kingdom, the Crystal Palace and Kaiser was ruling Summer Fields.

Kaiser's POV

Everything has been peaceful for the last few weeks. I'm sacred about Dagger and the events happening to me but I was lucky to been saved my Lee. Ever since I haven't been answering or checking my phone like I always do but I do know I have missed calls or messages from Kai, probably worried like always.

"Your Majesty...?"

I sat up against the railing, turning my head around seeing to find the voiced that called me. Standing there was Lilligant with a little group of Petilils surrounded it.

"Yes?" I asked.

Lilligant and the Petilils bowed. "Your father has requested you head to the Crystal Palace before the festival begin." The Lilligant informed him.

The Festival! I forgot! "Thank you, I'll head there right away," I said as they left to work on other things. "I can't believe I keep forgetting about this!"

I quickly gathered the bacthes of flower that we were saving for the festival, I quickly made a cloud to support them as I flew beside them. Man I forget how beautiful everything is here, I know Kai would love to see this one day...Speaking of Kai, I hope he's doing okay. I haven't told him what really happened or mention it, I just lied to him that I'm on rest since I 'sprained' my foot. Which I shouldn't have lied....But I didn't want him to freak out about me getting rape....So it was a better excuse than ever. I sighed at my thoughts and regrets but it had to be done. Just then I heard a faint voice calling me, I looked below seeing my youngest sister, Snowie was waving at me. I felt a smile formed on my face as I flew down to greet her.

"Kaiser!" She cheered, running up to hug me, "We have been waiting for you! And you brought the flowers like you promised!"

I let out a slight chuckled, "I told you guys I wouldn't forget!" Minus the whole forgetting the festival thing earlier. "So where's everyone else?"

She pulled out her small black notepad along with a pen,

"Well...Dad and mom are arranging the event, Angelica and Zarifa are on decorations...Chaser is on music, Asher is doing safety patrol soooo...That leaves us with entertainment and flower arrangements." She finished before closing it.

"Let me guess. Everyone is on entertainment but I'm the main one?" I asked as headed inside. She nodded.

"You know dad wants you to keep your performance career...especially after- You know." Snowie mumbled quietly to him.

I sighed, simply just nodded. I guess my father was just worried about me, and he was right, I wasn't ready to give my dream just yet. I set down the bags of flowers on the long table as my sister sat down to began arranging the flowers into the vases. I smiled and skipped away to work on my performances. The rest of the went peacefully afterwards left like everything inch of stress was leaving which I'm gald but something was still felt attached to me.

With if he comes back for me....?
