Chapter 2- Regret & awoken

Nothing was better then a bright sunny day on Melemele island. Sinzo had tooken his kids to the park as he promised days before dueing their trip to Riverdiamond and the shopping district. Kaiser was jumping around all over the place trying to contain his excitement.

As they arrived, there was a bunch of people and pokemon here having fun in the park, mainly little kids with their own pokemon.

Sinzo: It’s seem like everyone had them same idea as us.

Kaiser: Aww…Won’t we have to go back another day?

Sinzo: Not quite. You kids go on ahead and play. Stick close together, and make sure I can see all of you. Asher…keep an eye on your younger brothers.

Asher: Yes, dad.

The boys dashed towards the sandy ground as there sat down on a bench close to play are. The youngers one followed the their older brother as they made their way through the others kids or pokemon, finding an empty for them.

Asher: Alright, losers. We stay here until it’s time to go.

Chaser: But Asher. Shouldn’t Kaiser play with others around his age?

They looked at Kasier for a quick second as Kaiser looked at them back and forth.

Asher: I guess your right. *Looks around the playing and spots a group of younger kids* Uhm, Kaiser. How about you play with them?

Kaiser followed his older brother’s gaze to the children. He stare at them for a bit before he went over to them. Asher and Chaser kept an eye on their younger brother until he made his way there. Once Kasier was close enough, his brothers took their eyes off and went on their own.

Kaiser looked at the younger kids. He spotted a different couple of pokemon: Houndour, Noibat, Alolan Rattata, Salandit, Alolan Meowth and another Frokaie. He gulped after glancing around. The kids all turned and looked at him.

Meowth(Alolan): Whatcha' starin' at kid?

Houndour: Oh, leave him alone. *gives a smug looks, looking up with proud* He’s probably thinking of joining us cool kids.

The others rolled their eyes. The Froakie clapped their hands together, gathering the others around them. They started to chat in a low whisper so Kaiser wouldn’t. The shiny Froakie stood there and stared at them wondering what they were talking about. The little group unhudled themselves as the Froakie went over to Kaiser.

Froakie: Say, we were wondering if you wanted to join us and head to the towards the river?

Kaiser: Uhm, sure. I just need to tell my brot-

Froakie: Brothers?

Kaiser: ….Y-yeah.

Froakie: *chuckles* There is no need to tell them, it's right ‘near’ the park. Not to far from your brothers. Come on, it will be fun!

Kaiser hesitated for a moment, looking back at his older brothers who were occupied with the olders ones who were picking on the others pokemon in the park. He took a breath and nodded to them.

Kaiser: Okay...

The group of Kids cheered.

Meowth(Alolan): Let's go!

The group followed the Alolan Meowth to forest. Kaiser looked back for a brief moment at his brother, making sure they weren't watching, soon leaving with the rest of the group.

Timeskip

The group kept walking deeper in the forest to get to the river. The winds started to pick up heavily the more they  continued one. Kaiser felt anxious every minute that pass by since he left the playground. The once blue sky now turing a dark gray along with the white clouds. The group didn't seem to worry but kept occupying themselves with some chating or games once they arrived.

Kaiser: Don't you think we should head back now? It's kinda getting dark.

Houndour: Ha! Turning back now are we!? We just got here now all of a sudden you want to leave!?

Kaiser: I-I didn't mean it like that! It's just the sky turning gray....being by a river is kinda dangerous, I mean look at it.

Houndour looked towards to water. The waves crash against themselves, crashing into rock and leaping out of it's bank. The group looked at one another and just shrugged it off. 

Salandit: Who said were going to swim in it?

Kaiser just stood there, embarrassed. He turned to water watching the waves rocking back and forth, crashing against the rocks. Just before he turned around the young Houndour head-butted him into the rushing waters.

Kaiser tumble under the waves, hitting any rocks that he collided due the strong currents. Kaiser struggled to keep his head above the water, and looking for a something to clings on to. In the corner of his he caught the group leaving him along with his bunny in the jaws of the Salandit. He kept rolling under the water which felt like hours, he eventually managed to climb on slippery jaggery rock side, still letting him slide but preventing him  to move any farther.

Kaiser: DAD!? ASHER!? CHASER!? PLEASE, ANYONE!

He clinched on the rock even more as he started to fall back into water, tears flowed down from his eyes, looking around for family but couldn't see anything due to the rain soon he let out a cry. The waves started become worse by the second along with thunder and lightning.

He kept crying until....something grab off the rock. He slowly turned around to his father's eyes in a panicked but relieved. Kaiser immediately hugged his father tightly as he continued to cry.

Sinzo: Shhhh...*rubs his back* I'm here, Kaiser. I'm here.

Kaiser just sniffled and tuck his head into his father's chest. Sinzo warpped an tight arm and swam back the shore of the forest. There at the shore was his siblings along with a Greninja with white fluffy wings beside them.

????: Is he alright!?

Sinzo got out the river holding Kaiser close to him, comforting him.

Sinzo: Frightened, a few scratches but he'll be okay. Camael are you sure he received his powers?

The Greninja with wings nodded.

Camael: I'm sure of it. After weather does change over time but this was a rapid change.

Asher: Uhm...sorry for interrupting but the sky is back to normal.

The older Greninjs both looked up at the sky. Asher was right, it was back to its original state. Sinzo took a glance at his youngest, fast asleep in his arms.

Camael: *chuckles quietly* I guess this whole thing tuckered him out.

Sinzk: No kidding! He was in a whole river! *faces towards Asher* I told you to keep an eye on your brothers!

Asher: I was! We both took turns watching him since we left him with kids around his age and the moment we looked away, he was gone so we thought he around the park so we went looking around for him.

Sinzo: Then you came to me after 10 minutes!

Asher: Heheh.......oops...

Chaser came to them holding Kaiser's bunny. The family looked at one another and headed back to the cabin to get some rest. Sinzo and Camael looked at each and nodded.

Sinzo: Kids, take your little brother back to the cabin and tell your mother I'll be there in a bit.

The boys justed nodded to their father. Chaser grab their sleeping baby brother  and headed to the cabin. The Greninjas watched them leave until they were out of their sight.

Sinzo: .....So, what is it?

Camael: My dear younger brother. I don't how to say this but I think Kaiser gain not one but two powers.

Sinzo: What do you mean? What does that mean?

Camael: This has never happened before in a long time. Kaiser has revealed his 1st power....weather manipulation..

Sinzo: .....I guess that makes sense. I headed him cry out and at the same time it poured harder, and the wind got worse until I got there...everything seem to calm down once he did.

Camael: Excatly, his emotions are tied in.

Sinzo: Okay but how does that tie in with having two powers?

Camael: That's the thing is hasn't awoken yet. It's only a matter of time.

Sinzo questioned his older brother words but realized he was right. Sinzo looked at the sky a for a brief moment before looking back his brother.

Camael: So? What are you going to do?

Sinzo: Let it play out on it's own. Then we'll take take action.

Camael nodded in agreement. The brothers headed back to the cabin , keeping their business to themselves.

Camael: I had never asked...what happend to those kids anyways?

Sinzo: Oh...I just taught them a lesson that they'll never forget.

Camael: Sinzo....please tell you-

Sinzo: Hehehe~!

Camael: *faceplams*

Sinzo: What~?

It's just my way of keeping the ones I care about safe. In anyway possible.
