Chapter 4.2: Shiny Dreams

"Kai....Kai Hazaki!" He said happily introducing himself. Kaiser was shocked by the name about being a bit similar to his but he brushed it off to the side. He hesitated a bit when he offered a hand but eventually took it.

"Nice to meet yo, Kai." He said with a small smile on his face.

Kai tilted his head a bit to the side. "What about yours?"

"Oh....right," Kaiser sighed, "I'm Kaiser Shurikens."

Kai eyes lit up with a bit of shock, "Hey! Are names are quite similar but you have a few extra letters," He chuckled, Kaiser gave another small smile at Kai. "Say, you wouldn't mind if I play with you....do you? I don't really have many friends to play with."

Kaiser gave a smile and nodded. "But only you promise to keep my power a secret, you can't tell anyone you saw it....promise? "

"I promise!"

Kaiser gave a smile filled with happiness and finally not filled with sadness. The shiny Froakie began to play with another, coming up with different ideas to play. They talked and chat between a topic they both in joy which could on for a few minutes or more. Few a of the times, Kaiser would use his weather powers to make their stories come alive even. Which brought the two even more joy.

The sun was starting to set, the blue was slowly turning into a beautiful purple to orange gradient. Almost everyone from early went home leaving the two only ones here at the moment.

"Kai? It's time to go home now." Kai turned to the voice of his mother.

"Aw, just ten more minutes please!" He entreated her with puppy eyes,

Soon a white Delphox came beside her with a smile. "You guys can play tomorrow." She said picking Kaiser up.

The Froakie looked at them with a bit of disappointment in their eyes. Soon two pair of Greninjas walked up with their younger siblings behind them.

"Your mothers are right," Sinzo said. "There is always tomorrow."

The shiny Froakies sighed in defeat and bidded each other until tomorrow. The families were about to go there separates way until an idea came into Flairyroa's head.

"Flare, Zero!" Flaire called to them. The stopped turned their heads around. "How about you two come over to dinner tomorrow, perhaps we could schedule playdates for them."

Zero and Flare looked at each with smiles across their faces and nodded to her. "We'll be there at 7 tomorrow!" Zero replied. Flaire nodded, quickly giving them the address before both families continued to walked back to their respected homes.

Sinzo switch back to his normal self and looked at his wife with disbelief. "Are you kidding me!?" He hissed, "Inviting them for dinner tomorrow are you nuts!"

Flaire looked at her husband, letting out a sigh. "Sinzo, don't you see. Kaiser actually made a friend today. I don't want him to lose him, they get along with each other so well," She said reminding him, "Also, I think it's best you and Zero become friends too. You can't ignore people like that, puls he's a nice guy too."

Sinzo grumbled but simply just nodded.  The white Delphox chuckled as they continued walked home with their kids.

Timeskip/Next Day

Flaire and Sinzo were all over the house trying to set things up. Sinzo’s siblings were either working or out of town with the kids on another island. Kids even helped out their the best they can with things around the house to prepared for the Hazakis.

"Tell again," Sinzo muttered to his wife as he chopping up ingredients. "Why do I have to be friends with them...specifically Zero?"

Flaire looked with a slight frown on her face. "Well, it might be good for you to make a new friend. Like I said before Zero is a nice guy, I'm sure you two will get along with other and maybe might be bestfriends one day."

Sinzo sighed and just rolled his eyes in response, "Yeah right, I'll be the judge of that." He declared, only getting a giggle from his wife whom resuming cleaning.

Kaiser was sitting anxiously watching the clock. Asher and Chaser felt weird watching their brother like this but knew it was his excitement, unable to contain. A few hours as past, Sinzo finshed making dinner along with dessert for everyone and Flaire brought a few flowers as decor, Kaiser was up and about trying to keep his mind off a bit but kept getting distracted by the littlest thing.

Eventually a knock was heard.

"I got it" Chaser said, walking up to the door to open. Kaiser went up to check only to get tackled into a big hug by Kai.

"Jeez. Don't tackled him so hard." A Frogadier said walking to Kai.

Kai chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head, "Okay, Shade."

Flaire giggled at the sight and went to greet Flare and Zero, Sinzo was leaning against the wall with his disguise trying not to make contact.

"Nice to see you again, Sinzo." Zero said offering him a handshake but Sinzo simply gently pushed his hand away, with Zero just smirked "I'm not giving up! I'll get ya to open up eventually. "

Both wives just giggled before continuing their own conversation. Sinzo doing his best to block out Zero's attempts of being friends with him. Soon after a while of chatting and playing a few games, everyone hathered around the tables enjoying the dinner. The parents were discussing arranging the playdates between Kai and Kaiser, who were eavesdropping a bit but were also in their own conversation. Zero was still on his quest of cracking Sinzo's shell of befriending him which were working but Sinzo’s was still trying to avoid other attempts he has.

The kids were in the living playing a card game after they finished eating, the older ones were teaching their younger siblings to play UNO; which they caught on pretty quickly.

"Seriously! Again! How many skips do you have Kai!?" Shade whined, upon getting skipped by his younger brother for a fifth time. Kai just snickered behind the cards.

Asher rolled his eyes as he placed down his card to end his turn. "Don't be such a baby, it was your idea in the first place anyways," Asher recalled before busting into a laught, "This is their first time playing anyways! Puls I can't believe you're getting beat by a kid whose younger than you!"

Shade growled quietly as he shot a glare towards the red Frogadier, "No one asked you, Crimson face."

Asher shut up, quickly glaring at Shade along with a growl in return. "Looks whose talking, Sea fish!"

"Hot-headed fish!"

"Whiny frog!"

The Braixen groaned as the Frogadiers kept on insulting each other. Kai and Kaiser looked at each, nodding, so they put down their cards and headed outside to avoid the trouble that was about to stir up soon.

The two walked over to a flat but high rock near the ocean, to stargazer as they chatted

"Something tells me they're going to be glare for sometime." Kai muttered,

Kaiser nodded in agreement, "I think my mom said about them arguing earlier in the park before the dinner."

"Yeah, but I kinda don't want to know how it started," Kai added, Kaiser had agreed.

"You know Kai..." Kaiser quietly said,

Kai looked at it for a brief moment before looking back at the stars. "Yeah?"

"One day I'm going to be the greatest performer there ever is!" He said.

Kai looked at it with a smile before it turned into a smirk. "Not if I become the greatest first!"

Kaiser looked at him with a smirk as well. "Yeah right!" He teased, leaning against him. Kai chuckled as a bit of blush appeared on his cheeks. "Aww, blushy face!"

Soon Kai's face was covered in blush either from embarrassment and out of shock, Kai playfully punched his arm which caused Kaiser to laugh out loud.

"It's not my fault I blush so easily!" Kai said defending himself, "My father blushes so easily when he was a Froakie. From what my uncles and aunts say, mainly my uncle Thunder and Mom."

Kaiser giggled, "So you're saying you both my the same weaknesses?"

"I don't know."

Kaiser reached his hand behind Kai's frubbles and started to tickled the back of his neck, which Kai immediately started brust out laughing like a crazy person.

"Q-Quit!' He choked trying to catching his breath but Kaiser just kept going, now using both hands.

This went on for a bit, Kai started to tickle Kaiser in revene, now getting both shinies to laugh like crazy. After awhile to stop, settling now to catch their breath before resuming stargazing and talking abut their dreams.  The two shared a few more laugh together until Chaser had poked his head out to call them back inside for dessert; ice cream and cake. Kaiser waved to his brother as a response, Chaser took knowledge and went back inside. Kai was about to get down but scooped Kaiser into bridal style and got jump off the rock.

"K-kai!!" Kaiser muttered, trying to hide his blushing mess under his scarf.

Kai chuckled at the sight as he carried back to the cabin for the dessert, "Just a little payback for tickling me!" He said uncovering Kaiser face, Kaiser just rolled his eyes as Kai started to carry him back to the cabin.

The two started to joke about about their older brother in someway, mainly Kaiser dragging Kai into his pranking business which Kai was total on board but they kept it on the down low, making their older siblings didn't hear specifically their target.

Yay, started this was part one was up and finished today while trying to fight my allergies.

This was suppose to get done yesterday but again my allergies made my throat icth like crazy so I been finding thing to soothe it. It's gone but now I'm sneezing, so yay! 🙂
