"Hello, who is this?"

"Um, we're calling to talk about Ash Ketchum?"

"Where is he? Is he somewhere where he can hear you?"

"No, why?"

"Is he anywhere near you right now?"

"I don't think so-"

"Close, lock and cover all doors, windows, all possible entrances, barricade the whole room"

While Serena and Clemont followed the caller's orders, Tierno continued to talk.

"This is urgent. We need to talk about that boy. He's not who you think he is"

"What do you mean? He's our teen friend from Kanto, he's 16-"

"No, he's not"

They all leaned in closer, drawing all of their attention to the caller.

"That teenage boy, is not actually a teenager. He is a young child"

"Wait, what?!"

"According to our records, Ash Ketchum was born on the 22nd of May, 2012. He is a 7 year old boy whose parents have been missing for years. Numerous families have adopted him, but once they discovered how dangerously ill he is, he killed them and anyone else who knew"

"This has to be a mistake!"

"I hope so, for your sake. He may be only 7, but he's insanely intelligent. His education is at least that of a senior in high school. No one has ever been able to catch him. He created a fake persona as a disguise, using the identity of who we believe to be his father"

"But, wait, doesn't that mean that, right now, his father is 16? Meaning his child was born when we was 9?!"

"His entire family is dangerously ill. He was able to find a woman to impersonate his mother, and create a fake identity for herself using the family name. However, she recently tried to go to Kalos to bring it to the police's attention, but he got to her first"

"That woman who died, wasn't really his mother?"

"No. We don't know who his mother really is. Any content about the Ketchum family has been removed from the public eye, to avoid putting their lives in danger. No one is allowed to speak about it"

It all started to come together. Why he wasn't sad about that woman's death. Why he killed Lysandre and put Alain in jail. Why they couldn't find his name on the internet.

"If it's really him, you don't have much time. Get out of there immediately"

The caller's voice faded away as the door was busted down. Ash burst through, someone's voice over a speaker was talking to him.

"What a shame", the voice said, "They really should've minded their own business. At least now they can all go to heaven. Right, Ash?"

"Yes, Sycamore"

They turned round to see Professor Sycamore with a phone in his hand.

"Show them who you are, Ash"
