Today, ( seriously, help me- I literally wrote Yoda instead of Today- XD what is my life with all these typos? Maybe I should stop writing in the middle of the night- XD)  I met Branch once again. I tried to somehow have a conversation with him. 

It was kinda hard since he isn't really the most talkative person. I just don't understand why he doesn't want to.

" Go away..." Branch looked at me from his trapdoor. He seemed very tense.

" But I just wanna-"

" Look, I'm not in the mood to talk right now." He said sternly.

" But you're never in the mood," I argued. 

He seemed to think a little about what to say next.

" Come on... Please?"

I feel bad seeing him in this state I just wish I knew what was wrong with him...

He frowned and moved slightly away from me.

" Please leave me alone..."

I really wanted to respect what he said, but he can't just be alone in this state.

I looked down.

" Not before you tell me what's wrong."

He quickly turned his gaze at me in shock.

" I- it's none of your business."

" Come on, You can't just be alone about something that makes you sad."

He seemed to understand, but he still kept it for himself.

" Why are you so annoying?"

I raised a brow.

" Annoying? I'm just trying to help you."

" It sure doesn't feel like it..."
He raised his voice slightly.

" What? You're the one who won't let me help you."

" But you're the one who keeps coming back to me when I tell you to go away!"

He reached for the trap door.

" Why Won't you leave me alone?!"

I stopped. 

" Because I care for you."

He scoffed.

" No one cares about me."

" I do."

I put a hand on his shoulder carefully.

He looked at me in shock.

There was a long silence between the two of us.

I don't know if it was unbearable or if it was anything else.
Something inside of me was eagerly waiting for one of us to say something. But something else just wanted to stay calm.

Branch was the first to say something.

" Please... put your hand away."

I did as told I didn't want to bother him more than I had already. It was probably the best thing to do as well.

" I- I can't tell you anything.." 

He tried to explain. 

" You probably won't understand.."

I Nodded. 

" But If you ever feel like talking about it, You know I'll always be right here for you."

I gave him a tight hug. He didn't push me away or yell at me, but I suddenly felt two arms slowly wrap around me and I could feel small drops fall on my shoulder.

 after that day, I still tried everyday to cheer him up by inviting him to dozens of parties and other arragements, But he never accepted them.

He also seemed to hide even more away after that day. He only came when he wanted to warn us about the bergens. 

 I was still waiting for that one day where he would come back and tell me what was bothering him, but that day never really came. All I could do was wait.
