what am i doing-

alright, so, we start with a small child Amber. She lives in a terrible family. her little sister, Sarah, age 4, gets all the attention, and little 10-yr-old Amber is not happy about it. Her parents seem to forget she exists when she comes home from school, and her grades are dropping.

then the unthinkable happens. Sarah gets sick. VERY sick. and Amber realizes, wait, she DOES care about her sister. Amber is devastated when her little sister dies, and she realizes how Sarah was the only one who actually seemed to realize Amber existed.

after three more years of her parents neglecting her, she lost her mother to a car crash (ouch the edginess is growing- *insert cliche death scene here*) and was forced to stay with her father (aaaannnddd i forgot his name-) who still ignored her. after a while, he just left. Amber was literally left in the empty house. 

She didn't know where to go, so she just stayed put. (for some reason) nobody wanted to buy the house in the middle of nowhere, and Amber had no intention of going to any authorities. (um why-) After years of basically living for herself, she knew at least a little of how to survive.

She started noticing weird things. every once in a while, a small purple flame would show up and float around her when she got mad, or expressed a lot of emotions. it scared her, but interested her at the same time. (woah spoopy)

then she actually tried to summon it. and when she did, it wreathed around her hand and felt cold, instead of the heat she expected. she stared using it for a light source, but she couldnt figure out how to make it radiate heat like a normal fire. this was difficult, seeing as her first winter in the empty house was coming fast, and she didnt know what to do.

(as a small explanation as to how she got money over the year she lived in the house, she sold art that was enchanted to look better. its a plot hole i tried to fix with duct tape but it works lol)

oNe dAy she noticed a strange pErSoN (woooaahhh spoopy) walking up the long road to the deteriorating and empty house she literally hid in for a year. she couldnt see his face because of *gasp* a cat mask. (wHoOoAaH sPoOpYyYYy XD) 

and guess who it is? Marvin!! but she doesnt know that yet (lol) so he visits her abandoned house and like a reasonable person, she hides, not knowing who this literal stranger is (also if ya want to know what Marvin looks like, look in mah art book uWu)
