Chapter 33: Jealous?

Taehyung was roaming his eyes around, looking for Jungkook. He was still embarrassed but he was also confused because Jungkook didn't seem to bother to ask him or act awkward. He was acting as if nothing had happened last night.

"Whom are you looking for?" Arson asked sitting beside Taehyung in the cafeteria.

"It's not Jungkook." Taehyung immediately replied munching his food.

"I didn't mention his name." Arson sighed.

"I know you will." Taehyung uttered.

"Anyways, I saw him in the restroom." Arson said.

He flinched when Taehyung leave like a flash.

"What just happened?" Arson mumbled to himself.

He just shooked his head and proceed to eat his food. Taehyung ran to the restroom, he saw Jungkook was washing his hands.

"You!" Taehyung started causing Jungkook to flinch a little.

Jungkook turned around looking at him confusedly.

"Why?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung went in front of him and grabbed his collar.

"We did that thing, right?" Taehyung asked gritting his teeth.

"What thing?" Jungkook asked furrowing his brows.

"Don't act dumb, I know you know what I mean." Taehyung grumbled.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Jungkook retorted.

"In the car, we did that thing in your car." Taehyung uttered venomously.

"Why? Did you regret it now and want to blame me?" Jungkook inquired.

Taehyung let go of Jungkook's collar and swallowed down.

"That's not it, I just want to know why are you acting as if it didn't happen." Taehyung muttered.

"To not make you uncomfortable." Jungkook retorted.

"What?" Taehyung asked looking at Jungkook with shocked eyes.

"It would be better if we act as if nothing happened. You'll just get awkward and I thought you will like it if I acted like a dumb person." Jungkook replied.

"Y-you're right, I-I will like it, just continue and forgot it. Bye." Taehyung stuttered and leave.

Taehyung wants to slap himself because he felt disappointed. His heart was clenching but he doesn't know the reason why.

"Stupid, Jungkook, stupid." Taehyung mumbled under his breath with his pouty lips.

When the class ended, Taehyung was walking alone on the road back to his house since he doesn't want to take a bus. He suddenly saw Jungkook who seem to buy something in the cake shop. But he was with a girl. He opened the door car in the passenger seat for her.

Jungkook was about to get inside the car but he felt someone hold his wrist. He looked at that someone and he was surprised to see Taehyung.

"Taehyung." Jungkook uttered confusedly looking at him.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but can you help me?" Taehyung asked rubbing the back of his neck.

"Oh sure, what is it?" Jungkook retorted inquiring.

"I want to go home, can I ride in---I mean with you?" Taehyung inquired innocently.

"But your house isn't that far away, you can--"

"Thank you, Jungkook." Taehyung cut him off and got inside beside the passenger seat.

Jungkook just blink his eyes in confusion. He sighed got inside his car and sat down in the driver's seat.

"Jungkook, who is he?" The girl asked who was sitting behind them.

"My classmate, I will also bring him to his house. Don't worry, we'll arrive at your house since I'm going to his house first." Jungkook responded.

"No!" Taehyung suddenly yelled.

Jungkook and the girl were taken aback and Jungkook looked at Taehyung.

"I mean you can take her to her house first. I would be fine." Taehyung muttered smiling innocently.

"But your house is near." Jungkook retorted.

"It's okay, I would love to roam around. I think that's also fine to her, right?" Taehyung retorted inquiring looking at the girl behind him.

"Y-yeah, sure." The girl stuttered looking away when she saw Taehyung was literally glaring at her.

"Let's go." Taehyung giggled.

Jungkook just started to drive confusedly with Taehyung humming and jamming on the song.

"Jungkook, tomorrow is my birthday, I hope you can come." She uttered.

"Yeah, sure I will come. Any gift you want?" Jungkook asked.

"Anything, I'm fine with the chocolate cake, that's my favorite." She replied giggling.

"Sure thing, if you want you can take this c---"

"Jungkook" Taehyung called out interrupting Jungkook's sentence.

"I'm hungry, can I eat this cake?" Taehyung asked picking up the box of cake on the bottom.

"Are you sure? I was about to give it to her as an advance birthday gift." Jungkook retorted.

"Come on, you can buy her tomorrow. I'm hungry." Taehyung pouted.

Jungkook stopped in the red light and looked at Taehyung to see if he was serious but he was surprised seeing Taehyung was glaring at him.

"S-sure, just take it." Jungkook responded swallowing down.

"Thank you." Taehyung chuckled and opened the box to eat the cake.

Jungkook just sighed, later that they arrived at that girl's house.

"Wait for me." Jungkook uttered to help her to get out of the car

"No, it's okay, I can do it by myself." She replied.

"Yeah, let her be she's not a kid." Taehyung mumbled while still eating.

She left the car and stand in front of her house.

"Hope to see you tomorrow, bye!" She smiled softly

"Yeah, yeah, bye!" Taehyung uttered and closed the window.

The girl got inside her house and Jungkook started to drive.

"What was that for, Taehyung?" Jungkook asked

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked in response innocently.

"Don't act as if you don't know what I mean." Jungkook retorted.

"What are you talking about? I really don't know." Taehyung uttered.

Jungkook parked his car on the side of the road and pinned Taehyung on his seat.

"Stop lying, will you?" Jungkook said staring at Taehyung.

"I don't want to." Taehyung grinned.

"Are you serious?" Jungkook inquired.

"Yes, but you have to make a deal with me." Taehyung smirked playfully dusting off Jungkook's shirt and touching his nape.

"What kind of deal?" Jungkook asked curiously.

"I want to come with you on her birthday." Taehyung snickered.

"That's it?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes." Taehyung retorted.

"What's the benefit for me?" Jungkook snickered.

"I'll tell you tomorrow." Taehyung giggled pushing Jungkook away.

Jungkook just shooked his head and continued to drive.
