History: Owen from a young age had immense fighting potential capable of going toe to toe with his father, but still lost due to Tommy's experience

When he turned 17 Tommy's master morpher malfunctioned and created copies of the green ranger and white ranger power coins, which gave Billy and alpha 7 an idea for Owen's 18th birthday

On his birthday he was gifted his own morpher which could cycle between the two copy coins, he'd also be gifted a tiger claw necklace from his aunt trini

Unfortunately the cheery mood would be forever shattered when the next day Rita repulsa would return as a robot and kill trini

During the month after her funeral alpha would receive a message from another reality from keeper requesting zordon to send rangers to help, not knowing that zordon was dead

Owen would volunteer to go and aid these new rangers
