Backstory of Radiant Black and the other Radiants: The Morphin Masters believe that The Power Rangers alone wont be enough to save the world from evil so they developed a new set of Heroes that are just like the Power Rangers but with unique abilities, Hence The Radiants. The Morphin Masters entrusted 4 Individuals with a tiny blackhole called Radiants powered by Morphin Grid Energy. These Radiants grants the users unique abilities for each color. Black has the ability to control and manipulate all manner of Gravity the user is able to manipulate gravity, create a blackhole, slow down time, etc, etc. Red has the ability to absorb energy and matter increasing their strength and durability. Pink is able to create portals to random places. And lastly Yellow has the ability to forsee futures/probabilities across time and space. Hence the Radiants were deployed to assist the Power Rangers.

Backstory/Background story of Adam: After Mark and Eve got married they had 2 kids, a son and a daughter. The oldest being Terra Grayson who was born first then next came Adam Grayson, Mark and Eve were happy as they're together as one big happy family. As the years pass by Terra and Adam are grown now and they were trained by their parents to master. Having both their parents powers this makes both Terra and Adam the most powerful Hybrid Viltrumites. Then one day when Adam was finished with school and walking back home Radiant Black fell on the ground defeated. Adam rushed to his aid and grabs him and tries to fly him to the hospital but Radiant Black refuses and told Adam that its too late for him and that he will be the next Radiant Black. As he passes away, the Tiny Blackhole floated off of Radiant Black revealing it to be another alien as Adam made contact with it he encounters a mysterious giant robot and The Black Morphin Master they tell him that a cataclysmic war is bound to happen across the Ranger Multiverse and Across The Morphin Grid and asks if he accepts this newfound power of Radiant Black and help Rangers across dimensions. Adam accepts the power and becomes the new RADIANT BLACK.
