My head hurts like crazy, as if that Estelle person is trying to contact me again, but I know that's not it... it must be the fact that I'm the only living thing at the moment. Time to transform!

"Star Pendant Power, Activate!" I transform into Willow, my hero self, and go around town. No one moves. Nothing is in motion. My suspicions were correct... Time is frozen...

A hear a whoosh as I barely dodge a hit with a soul-splicing dagger from behind.

"Nice instinct," the one wielding the dagger commented. It's someone new.

"I thought you all would be too scared to show your face after hearing about me."

"I wanted to see your power for myself!" He charged at me, but I swiftly dodged.

"Okay then," I agreed, forming my Bow of Light. He absorbed the power of the bow and it vanished!

"Sorry, but I can't let you do that," he said. I then realized...

As long as he can absorb my power...
