I feel my limbs going numb... it won't be long before I'm done for...

"She has no point of existence... she said it so herself..."

"What?" I was about ready to cry... but it seems that I've lost the ability to do so.

I then heard more voices... I can't figure out what they're saying... and I also don't know who they are...

How am I still alive...?

"Carona!" It was Flare speaking to me. "Stop thinking negatively and focus on the reasons why you SHOULD live! Overcome this hurdle!" I then heard him say the most encouraging words to me. "You can do it. I know you can. Carona, you are so special... and I'm not the only person to realize that. Believe in yourself."

Yes... her lack of confidence and feeling of worthlessness is strengthening me... I was right to choose to pretend to be a fortune teller...

Wait... what's this other emotion I'm feeling? I'm feeling some power channel through me...

It's taking my energy that I stole!

A bright light then shone from the redhead. No... she can't be...

Carona's P.O.V.

"There... there is a point to live..." I said. I felt the darkness around me start to slip away. "Though that point may not be at the front of my mind at all times... it's still there... I need to live... for my friends... my family... my life's work... for all things good and right... why, there are thousands of reasons for me to live!" I was able to see a bit now... but it was all blurry.

But I did see some orb of light floating in front of me.

I used every ounce of my strength to reach out in front of me...
