Serenity's P.O.V.

"Alright, girls!" I started. I called a meeting with Claire's permission and Aera's not happy about that. "Today is Maxie's birthday and he needs us. He has no family to celebrate with!"

"And you know this because...?" Jersey asks.

"I umm..."

"SHE'S A CREEPY STALKER!" Aera spoiled.

"AERA!"

"I hope Max has a good day then," Claire said. "From what I've heard about birthdays, they're like Neolian Crissendays... except that they don't give the birthday person good luck and great fortune."

"I wish I was a Neolian..." Aera began. "Then I'd be rich."

"Not like that, Aera," Claire corrected. Before she could finish, the wind suddenly picked up and drowned her out.

"This is weird..." Itsuki stated. She ran to the window. "It's the enemy!"

Maddie's P.O.V.

The wind then made something like a black tornado... but when it stopped, a cloaked figure was there.

"THAT'S THE SAME PERSON THAT TRIED TO KILL ME!" I couldn't help but shout.

The figure then made huge monsters.

"Stay here, Maddie. LOTUS CRYSTAL POWER, ACTIVATE"

NO. Not on his birthday!

"NEOL RINGING BLAST!"

Now the Special Senshi are here.

Those monsters seemed to be quite strong...

A few minutes later...

I noticed that the Special Senshi were trying to keep Max from getting involved. Maybe they know it's his birthday too...

I then saw the original villain pull out the Soul Vanquisher... the same one he tried to kill me with!

He was aiming it at Max!

"MAX!" I yelled, jumping up. "Look out!" I began to run towards him.

"Maddie? What?!"

I felt the glow of my pendant shine for the first time in what felt like forever as I clutched it and said the magic words.

"STAR PENDANT POWER... ACTIVATE!!!"
