The 8th of March is International Women's Day, a day which shouldn't have to exist. God created us all as equal and loves us all enough to send his son to die for us.
This Women's Day, let's remember in prayer those women and girls all over the world who don't have access to education, employment or basic rights simply because of their gender.
To find out more, visit www.internationalwomensday.com or simply search online. Christian Aid has published a prayer guide you can follow.
Right here, let's take a moment to pray.

Lord Jesus,
We pray as your children for those women and girls all over the world living on constant fear of violence and rape. Please protect and help them. We ask that all people, regardless of gender, race or any other factors will have access to education that helps them to succeed. Please shine your light in the darkest corners and provide hope when everything seems hopeless. We pray that you would guide the governments and organisations making important decisions to allow all people to be treated equally. Please take away out prejudice and untie us, helping us to remember that "there is now no difference" for you are "all and in all."
Lord, open your people's eyes to the injustice in the world and help us to work to overcome it in you. We know in this world we will have trouble, but you have overcome the world.
Thank you, Lord, for the change we have already seen. May it be furthered in your name.
Amen.

Please visit the official website and Christian Aid for more in depth points and advice.
God bless.
