I woke up laying in a bed. I sat up to notice Bane sleeping beside me. I chuckled seeing him look so peaceful. I got up and changed my clothes. When he yawned stretching out and getting up. He changed his clothes as I brushed my hair. When I heard a honk. So I walked out with Bane to the car. We got in and I laid my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me. As soon as we pulled into a parking lot and opened the door I was overcome by so many scents of different non humans. I couldn't even tell which ones they were there were so many. We got out and walk into the woods where a bunch of cabins were tucked away hidden under the trees. When I noticed a lot of the non humans weren't just children and weren't even in their human forms. I looked at Hain questioningly.

"Okay so I bluffed a little bit it's actually a refuge for exotic non humans that are at risk of extension. Its to keep them safe from the humans like said before the world's becoming more dangerous. Since humans are finding out about non humans. If you see reporters here trying to interview them don't be alarmed. I brought you here to give them extra protection since your breed can only be killed by another wolf of the same breed. You'll be living amongst the others and you report to me directly if you notice anything suspicious." He commanded I nodded, looking at a woman and a camera man talking to a winged being. When I hear someone scream. I turned to see a girl crying being pinned by the neck by a huge horned being. It reminded me of an demon. I looked at Hain he nodded I ran jumping on the creatures back putting him in a head lock. He let go of her slamming me against a free trying to knocking me off.

"That all you got?" I asked, tightening my grip. When he grabbed my head trying to pull me off. He froze when he turned his head to look at me. I shifted into my wolf form twisting my body still holding on to his neck throwing him over my head and onto his back. He coughed trying to catch his breath. I ran in front of the girl and growled. When I glanced over to see the camera man pointing his camera at me. When Bane suddenly ran over. He tackled the man being as he was about to pounce on me.

'Sweetie back off he's my prey.' I growled.

"Okay alpha whatever you say love he's all yours." He said, letting go of him putting his arm up in the air backing away. When the male charges at my digging his horns into my side. I roared digging my fangs into his shoulder. I stood up on two legs preyed his horns out. We both fell to the ground exhausted. Bane covered me as I shifted back into my human form.

"That was fun let's do it again." I laughed, they all stated at me blankly. The male shifted back into his human form trying not to laugh at my reaction. He was actually really handsome and sexy. He had long black hair, bright violet eyes, very masculine, muscular, and about as tall as Bane.

"Your a strange one." Bane said, rolling on the ground with laughter.

"So I enjoy a good fight I've can never find a worthy opponent." I replied. The male glanced at me flirtatiously.

"I'm Raphael." He said, his voice was amazing it was deep and husky. But the time in his voice was like music to my ears. He had an ascent but I didn't quiet know what it was.

"I'm Avery." I giggled. His eyes lit up.

"You do realize if you beat a male in a fight it's pretty much a marriage proposal. Females only challenge a male they want as a mate. That's why they were fighting. She purposed." Hain laughed amusingly. I stopped and slapped my face.

"Why didn't you tell me I thought he was hurting you." I said, looking at the girl and getting up.

"I figured you knew it's common knowledge." She glared.

"I was raised by humans I didn't know. It's not my fault. No one bothered to teach me anything." I growled.

"Hain that's not funny she just got out of a really bad relationship with her first mate she's still getting over it. She didn't know it's not funny." Bane said, getting up. I looked down trying not to think about it.

"Bane I'd rather if you wouldn't bring that up." I whispered, trying as I starting feeling numb. I walked into the woods so I could be alone. When someone grabbed my arm. It was Raphael.

"You need someone to talk to?" He asked, worriedly. I felt my tail pop and go down between my legs.

"I really don't want to talk about it." I said, looking away when he pushed my hair away from my face and lifting my chin with the tips of his fingers. So I was looking at his face.

"Well I'm here if you need to talk to someone. I've been where your at I understand. My first mate cheated on me with my best friend in the night right before our wedding day trust me I know." He assured me, hugging in his strong arms.

"I'm sorry I just feel like an idiot I took a silver bullet for him." I whispered.

"How silver kills werewolves?" He asked.

"I'm immune to silver and wolves bayne. I'm a different breed and the last original." I exclaimed.

"What about that male." He asked.

"I turned him he's just my beta. He's also got a huge crush on me and thinks I haven't noticed. But there's no way I could like him like that to be honest I do love him but more like an older brother." I answered. He tightened his grip.

"Well you did win." He said.

"I'm not ready to go down that road again just yet." I replied.

"Its okay I'll wait." He assured me, pulling away putting his hands on my shoulders.

"What if another girl fights you?" I asked.

"Since you won they'll technically have to fight you to win me over and I'm pretty sure that's impossible." He informed me.

"I don't think you get it my breed doesn't mate like that we have a special bond...." I stopped when he suddenly kissed me roughly and kinda sloppy like it was his first kiss. I felt an electric shock go through me like when I was with Brent but more intense.

"Like that." He said, slightly blushing a little shade of pink.

"Ya." I said, pausing.

"Have you ever kissed anyone?" I asked, he turned red.

"Shit I was hoping you wouldn't notice. It's embarrassing to say but I've never kissed anyone before. Not even my ex fiance. I wanted to save it for my real mate." He said, nervously. When my tail started wagging like crazy. He chuckled when he noticed. I leaned up unconscious and kissed him repeatively. He matching my rhythm.

"Holy shit. Can I try that again?" I giggled, nodding. He leaned down putting his hand in the back of my neck underneath my hair kissing me passionately. He parted his lips slightly asking for access. As soon as I took a breath his tongue started exploring every inch of my mouth. When I noticed someone watching us it was the camera man. I growled, alerting Raphael. He ran after him when he seen him. I watched as they moved out of view. Moments later he ran back.

"I took got the tape and practically made him piss himself in the process." He said, handing it to me.

"Why did they tape us?" I asked.

"Because, they like catching us when we're being intimate. It gets more publicity." He exclaimed, picking me up. He snuck me in the back of one of the cabins taking me up stairs to a bedroom. He laid me on the bed. When I hit it to hard and I laughed up some blood.

"Avery!" He panicked, when I realized the wound that he gave me earlier wasn't healing.

"I'm still weak from the venom on the bullet." I managed to get out my mouth. He caressed my cheek.
