Dev and Venky's questioning continued. "Sir main maanta hoon ke main scorpion wala bracelet pehnta hoon lekin woh blue ring toh is ki thi na, meri kahan thi, Preeta meri dost hai, main us ke saath aisa karne ki soch bhi nahi sakta," (Sir I agree that I wear a scorpion bracelet but that blue ring belonged to him, it wasn't mine, Preeta is my friend, I can't even think of doing this with her) Dev said. "Toh meri bhi behen hai woh, main bhi uske saath aisa karne ki nahi soch sakta," (So she is also my sister, I can also not think of doing this with her) Venky said. "Aapas mein baatein karne ka kis ne bola? Sawaal poochhne ka kaam humara hai," (Who told you both to talk? It's our work to interrogate) said the inspector. Dev mouthed a sorry. " Preeta ! " Venky called out after her and she turned. He neared her and cupped her cheeks. "Kaisi ho? Kahan ja rahi ho?" (How are you? Where are you going?) he asked and she moved away his hands. "Ghar," (Home) she said creasing her eyebrows. "Kabhi mere saath bhi chal liya karo, bhai hoon na, protect karoon ga," (You should sometimes come with me as well, I am your brother after all, I will protect you) he said and took her bag touching her waist, she moved away and her bag fell.

She looked here and there and then bent down to take her bag and he too bent and their hands touched and she looked at him and then stood up straight. He lifted her bag and gazed at her thighs and traced his hand on her knees. She moved backward and fell colliding with someone, it was Dev. He came forward and stood between them and extended his hand to Preeta . She looked at his hand and then at him. She hesitantly held his hand and stood up. He turned to Venky. "Maine dekha ke tum ne kya kara, okay, don't you dare do it again," (I saw what you did, okay, don't you dare do it again) he warned and gave Preeta 's bag back to her. "Thank you," she said and he walked away taking her along, she glanced back at Venky angrily.

"Sir woh mujhe dekh kar toh uncomfortable bhi nahi hui lekin Venky, is ka kya? Is ko dekh kar woh panic kar gayi, bataya tha Karan ne mujhe," (Sir she didn't even become uncomfortable after seeing me but Venky, what about him? She panicked seeing him, Karan told me) Dev said. "Ab toh search warrant he bataye ga ke Venky ne sach mein tumhara bracelet churaya tha ya nahi, aur tumhare ghar ko bhi search kiya jaye ga," (Now only the search warrant will tell if Venky stole your bracelet or not, and even your house will be searched) the inspector said and went away.

The inspector barged into Dr.Shergill's clinic and he got shocked and stood up. "Kitne patients ko aisay touch karta tha haan? Aur kitno'n ko exploit karta hai ab tak tu?" (How many patients did you touch like that? And how many are you exploiting till now?) the inspector asked. "Kya keh rahay hain sir aap? Main doctor hoon, criminal nahi," (What are you saying sir? I am a doctor, not a criminal) Dr. Shergill said. "Toh Preeta ko kiun galat tareekay se touch karta tha? Jaan bhooj kar tu ne ye profession chuna hai na? Taakay Preeta jaisi masoom larkiyo'n ko aisay touch karay, mazay leta rahay. Hai na?" (So then why did you use to touch Preeta wrongly? You chose this profession intentionally, right? So that you can touch innocent girls like Preeta this way, have fun, right?) asked the inspector. "Main doctor hoon aur main touch kar sakta hoon apnay patients ko, dermatologist ka yahi kaam hota hai ke dekhay ke kis tarha ki allergy hai toh uska ilaaj bata sakay," (I am a doctor and I can touch my patients, its the work of a dermatologist to see what kind of allergy is it and prescribe medicines) he said. "Woh toh pata chal he jaye ga ke tu kitna sacha hai," (It will be known how truthful you are) said the inspector and took away the surveillance camera from there.

The inspector ordered for the search warrant of Venky and Dev's house and viewed the footages of surveillance camera in Dr. Shergill's clinic. After watching many videos, he came across a footage in which Preeta was there. She talked for sometime and then turned her back towards him to show him the rash from which she had been suffering.

Dr. Shergill watched her and slowly unzipped her blouse and she shuddered and held his hand stopping him, he moved her hand and spread open her blouse exposing her back and touched her back sensuously and touched her waist and she turned to him in the nick of time. He began to prescribe medicines and gave the prescription to her. She took it and zipped her blouse and stormed out of there. The inspector was shocked and viewed other footages too and came across second footage of Preeta . She talked for sometime and again turned her back to him, this time she was in long dress.

He unzipped her dress and slid his hand inside her dress and moved it to her tummy and she held his hand pulling it out and turned to him. He wrote the prescription and gave it to her and she zipped her dress and rushed out of there. The inspector felt sick seeing the video and came across one last footage of Preeta . She came to Dr. Shergill and talked for sometime and showed her back to him by pulling her top upwards. He held her top up and began to pull it off.

She turned to him and slapped him. "This is my third sitting and I thought your touch is normal but you're trying to touch me inappropriately again and again and again, now it's enough," she said and he pushed her on the couch and pinned her, she tried pushing him but he was way too strong. "Yes I did, so what? Who will you tell all this? Who will believe you? Everyone knows me and not you, no one will believe you," he said and neared her face and was about to kiss her face as she stopped resisting and suddenly she pushed him away. She stood up and began to leave but he held her hand and threw her on the couch. He sat near her and turned her back towards him and held her wrists behind her back. She tried to struggle to make him leave her but he was too strong. He shut her mouth and she fainted. He left her hands and she woke up just then as she was acting to faint and ran away from there. The inspector shut the laptop and rushed to Dr. Shergill again and arrested him for attempt to molest.

Karan took Preeta along with him in the car for her to have some fresh air. "Theek ho?" (You okay?) he asked. "Perfect, thank you Karan , bohat maza aa raha hai itne time baad yeh fresh air lenay mein, itne time se hospital ke uss saray huay bed par lait lait kar thak gayi thi main, aaj main unn drips se, injections se, sab se free hoon, bas goliyo'n par hoon, woh bhi bohat yucky type hain," (Perfect, thank you Karan , I am having a lot of fun after breathing this fresh air, I was tired of lying continuously on that stupid hospital bed, I am free of those drips and injections today, just medicines are there, they are also very yucky type) she said. Because my death wasn't destined Karan , because I have life destined further, you have given me this new life) she said wiping his tears and he held her hand and kissed it. "God ne di hai, main ne nahi, main toh bas ek masiha tha, aur phir dekho tum ne aankhein kholi, aur phir tum bolne bhi lagi," (God has given it, not me, I was just a way, and then see you opened your eyes, and then you began to speak) he said and smiled. She smiled back and patted his back. He started the car and began driving again and drove back home. He got out of the car and got her outside as well and took her inside the house making her sit on the bed. He went outside and locked the car and came back inside and sat beside her. "Bhook lagi ho gi na?" (You might be hungry, right?) he asked and she nodded. He stood up and went to the kitchen and brought food for her and made her eat.

At night, Karan and Preeta were sleeping. Suddenly she woke up and saw three figures standing in their room, she could only see their silhouettes. She tried getting up but it was as if she was frozen, she even tried to speak but couldn't. One figure came near her and caressed her neck, she sweated heavily. Another figure came and pulled her bedsheet off and pulled her by her feet on the floor. She just lied there on the floor really alarmed. The third figure came and climbed on top of her and she breathed heavily. Another figure pinned her down and the last one held her legs. She felt air knocked out of her lungs.
