Luthra house, guest room.

Karan is sitting beside Preeta, holding her, waiting for her to regain consciousness. Just then Preeta starts regaining conscious.

Karan (concerned): Babydoll, tum thik toh ho na...

Preeta (still thinking about her visions): Karan, kya tumhari koi girlfriend thi....??

Karan (confused): Tum...aisa...

Preeta (frustrated): Tum bas batao na...thi kya??

Karan (lost in her): Thi ek....par girlfriend nahi thi...usse bhi zyaada kuch...bohot pyaar karta hu usse...

Preeta is heartbroken hearing that he still loves her, but puts on a fake smile.

Karan: Par tum kyun??

Preeta: Woh actually, tumhare room mein....Ek minute, mein tumhare room mein thi, mein yaha kaise aayi!!

Karan: Tum yahi thi Preeta...

Preeta (frantically): Nahi...Ka...Karan mein...mein tumhare...

She breaks down while Karan hugs her to calm her down.

Karan: Shhh...babydoll...shaant ho jao.

Flashback.

Doctor comes out after checking Preeta.

Karan: Doctor, Preeta kaisi...is she fine...kahi usse..

Doctor: Shaant ho jaiye, Mr. Luthra. She is fine now. I think unhe apni past life ke kuch visions aaye the...See I have already told you, aur mein aapko ek baar phir keh raha hu...unhe stress nahi hona chahiye ...agar woh memories trigger huyi...toh ya toh inhe sab yaad aa jayega, ya phir, inki jaan ko khatra ho sakta hai...make sure she takes her medicines on time.

The doctor leaves, leaving everybody shocked. Karan is devastated hearing this.

Rakhi: Puttar himmat se kaam le...sab thik ho jayega.

They then shift Preeta to the guest room.

Karan (controlling his tears): I am sorry babydoll...meine tumhe bohot pareshaan kiya na...

Preeta (still hugging him): Tumne mujhe jaane ke liye kaise keh diya!!!!

Karan: I am sorry...dobaara nahi bolunga...

Preeta: Bolke toh dikhao...muh na tod du mein tumhara...

Karan smiles.

Preeta: Haso mat...bohot bure ho tum...

Karan cups her face and wipes her tears with his thumb.

Preeta (emotional): Tum mujhe kabhi chhodke nahi jaoge na....Papa aur Rakesh papa ki tarah, tum toh mujhse dur nahi jaoge na...

Karan: Kabhi nahi...

Preeta hugs him again. He hugs her back.

Preeta: Tum meri life ka sabse important hissa ho Karan...mein tumhe khona nahi chahti...papa ke jaane ke baad meine khud ko sambhal liya...agar tum bhi mujhe chhod ke chale gaye toh mein tut jaungi, Karan...

Karan (remembering the truck accident): Chhod ke tum mujhe gayi thi babydoll....mein toh humesha se hi tumhare saath tha...

Preeta: Kya??

Karan: I mean meine kaha ki chali jao aur tum chali gayi...

Preeta: Kabhi nahi jaungi...

Karan: Karan promise??

Preeta (nods in no): Preeran Promise........

Karan: Achcha toh phir ek promise karte hai ek dusre se...

Preeta: Kaisa promise??

Karan: Yahi ki chahe kuch bhi ho jaaye...hum ek dusre par pura bharosa karenge...kabhi ek dusre ka saath nahi chodenge...kabhi ek dusre se kuch nahi chupayenge..aur har ek woh promise nibhayenge jo humne shaadi mein kiye the..Promise to love each other till eternity...Bolo, Karan promise??

Preeta: Nahi...

Karan is upset hearing this. Preeta cups his face.

Preeta: Preeran promise...

Karan smiles and hugs her and she sleeps in his embrace.

Flashback ends.

Karan smiles remembering this.

Next day, Luthra house.

Everybody is busy preparing for the engagement.

Rakhi: Girish jaldi safai karo...sagai aaj hi hai!!

Karan: Mom, don't worry sab thik ho jayega...

Preeta and Shrishti enter the Luthra house.

Rakhi (looking at Preeta): Ab sab thik ho jayega...

Karan looks at Preeta and smiles.

Preeta starts ordering the decorators.

Preeta: Bhaiya, aap rehne dijiye...yeh mujhe dijiye, mein kar lungi.

She stands on the stool and is trying to put the lights, when her leg slips and she is about to fall.

Karan catches her and they share an eye lock.

Karan: Tum kya superman ho..jo aise upar chad gayi thi...

Preeta (innocently): Nahi...superwoman hu...

Karan mentally slaps his forehead and puts her down.

Karan: Do, mein karta hu...chup chap bina koi stunt kiye tumse koi kaam nahi hota na!!

Preeta: Meri badi behen, meri best friend ki shaadi hai...kuch toh mazze karungi na mein bhi!!

Preeta, with a cute annoyed face, hands him the lights.

Later in the evening.

Everybody has finished decorating the Luthra house. Karan feels tired and dozes off in his room.

Preeta is getting bored and goes to check on Karan. She finds the door locked from inside.

Preeta: Yeh bajarbattu bhi na!! Door lock karke baitha hai!! Ab kya karu!! Idea!!!

After sometime, Preeta is shown climbing in through the window of the room. She climbes up with great difficulty and starts jumping on the bed.

Preeta (jumping): Karaaannnnnn uthooooo!!!

Karan gets stunned hearing this and wakes up in no time.

Karan: Preeta!! Tum yaha!!

Preeta: Kyun, nahi aa sakti!! (jealous)...sirf tumhari who girlfriend aa sakti hai!!

Karan (realizes that Preeta is in his room): Tumhe kuch nahi hua??

Preeta (confused): Mujhe kya hona tha!!

Karan: Nahi kuch nahi...ek minute...tum iss room mein kaise aayi??

Preeta (unknowingly, casually): Khidki se...

Karan (shocked): Kyaaa!!!???

Preeta (bites her tongue, innocently): Ab mein kya karti...tumne darwaaza band karke rakha tha...next time se lock mat karna, mein darwaaze se hi aa jaungi.

Karan is about to say something, but Preeta interrupts.

Preeta: Dekho please daatna mat...next time se batwoman nahi banungi...abhi rehne do na please...

Karan smiles at her antics and at the same time makes a cry baby face and facepalms himself.

Karan: Thik hai...par tum yaha kyun aayi thi...kuch kaam tha??

Preeta widens her eyes.

Preeta (acting): Waah, Karan Luthra, waah!! Bas itna sa bharosa hai humari dosti par!! Mein kya kisi kaam ke bina tumse milne nahi aa sakti!!?? Bolo karan Luthra bolo!!

Karan feels guilty and is about to say something, but Preeta interrupts.

Preeta: Arre..tum kya bologe!! Mein bolti hu...tumhe mujh par bilkul bharosa hi nahi hai...(she starts fake crying)

Karan: Okay sorry...

Preeta turns away.

Karan: Achcha thik hai...tum jo bologi mein who karunga...I am sorry...I promise..

Preeta (happy): Pakka??

Karan: Of course...Karan Luthra ne promise kiya hai.

Preeta then lies on his lap, surprising him.

Preeta (cutely): Toh mujhe ice-cream khaane leke chalo...

Karan now understands her drama and face palms himself.

Preeta: Tumne promise kiya hai...

Karan: Par Preeta, kuch hi der mein engagement shuru hone wali hai...tum ready kab hogi??

Preeta: Uski chinta tum mat karo...tum bas yeh batao...tum chal rahe ho ya nahi??

Karan: Karan Luthra ki yeh majaal jo who apni babydoll ko mana kare!!

Preeta: Very good. Ab chalo, dramebaaz.

Karan widens his eyes. Preeta giggles and he smiles seeing her laugh.

They sneak out through the backdoor and go to have ice cream.
