Continued.

Preeta and Karan are lost in each other. They are broken out of their trance when they hear Kritika and Ayaan.

Kritika: Toh aaj mere bhai...

Ayaan (interrupts): Aur meri di...

Kriyan (glaring each other): Ki engagement hai!!!

Shrishti and Sameer slap their foreheads.

Kritika: Ab jab the famous singer, The Karan Luthra ki engagement hai toh...

Ayaan (interrupts): Ek gaana toh banta hi hai na!!!

Kritika glares at him, while he smirks.

Karan: Arre par...

Shrishti: Kya jiju, kitna sharmaate ho aap!!

Karan (embarrassed): Whatt!! I am The Karan Luthra!! Mein kisi se nahi sharmaata!!

Preeta (laughing): Woh toh dikh raha hai!!

Karan: Thik hai mein gaunga, lekin meri ek shart hai...

Kritika: Kaisi shart bhai??

Karan (smirks): Preeta ko bhi ek gaana gaana hoga...woh bhi mere liye...

Preeta (shocked): Whatt!!

Karan (smirks): Kya hua darr gayi??

Preeta (glaring at him): Bilkul nahi!! Thik hai, done!! (whispers in his ears) Its you vs me!!

Karan (whispers back): No babydoll...Its you and me vs the whole world...

He winks at her and goes to the stage. She is left stunned by his reply. She smiles unknowingly. Rishabh sees all this and breaks the glass, unnoticed by anybody. He goes upstairs, angry. He enters his room and angrily throws things hear and there.

Rishabh: Nahiii!!!!! Mein aisa nahi hone de sakta!!! Mujhe kuch toh karna hi hoga!!!

He thinks of a plan and smirks.

Meanwhile.

Karan takes his guitar and adjusts his mike. He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath and smiles. He opens his eyes to see Preeta smiling at him. She realises and she looks away.

Karan (smiling):

Preeta looks at him. They share an eyelock. He was confessing his feelings through the song. She smiled.

Karan (looking at her):

Tujhse mohabbat karte hain jo

Karan comes running inside the college and hugs Preeta from the back. He smiles and twirls her in the air. She too smiles.

Karan (happy): Tumhe pata hai babydoll, mujhe ek bohot hi famous music company se offer aaya hai, lead singer banne ka!!!

Preeta hugs him, happyily. He smiles and hugs her back.

Preeta: I am so happy for you!!! Mujhe pata hai ki you will rock it!! You are the best!!

Karan smiles.

Karan (closing his eyes):

Karan proposes to Preeta but she slaps him and angrily rejects him. The ring in his hand falls down and he sits on the ground, crying silently.

Karan (tearfully):

There is a moment of silence. Just then everybody starts clapping. Preeta wipes her tears and smiles. Karan too wipes his tears and smiles. Both, looking at each other.

Shrishti: Di, ab aap ki baari!!!!

Preeta smiles and moves to the stage. Karan hands over the mike to her and is about to leave, when she gently holds his hand. He looks at her, confused. She goes closer to him, in order to take the guitar.

Preeta (whispers): This one's for you...

She takes the guitar and sits on a chair. He is initially shocked, but then smiles. Preeta closes her eyes, smiling.

Preeta:

Jise zindagi dhoondh rahi hai
Kya ye woh makaam mera hai
Yahaan chain se bas ruk jaaun
Kyun dil ye mujhe kehta hai
Jazbaat naye se mile hain

Karan: I love you, babydoll...I love you so much...

Preeta smiles remembering his confession.

Preeta (looking at Karan):

Karan looks at her and smiles. He sends her a flying kiss. She blushes and looks down, smiling. Preeta's smile fades away when she remembers how cold heartedly she had rejected him.

Preeta slaps Karan.

Preeta (angry): I hate you Karan Luthra!! I won't ever let you play with my feelings!! I hate you so much!!

Tears form in her eyes and she immediately closes them.

Preeta (tearfully):

Hmm.. Jaise baarish kar de tar
Yaa marham dard par
Koi mujhko yun mila hai

Yaa sard mein dopahar

Muskaata yeh chehra

Chot lagi hai usey,

Karan kisses Preeta's forehead.

Karan: Apna khayal rakhna babydoll...

She smiles.

Preeta (smiling):

Main parinda besabar

Naye mausam ki sehar

She opens her eyes. Everybody claps for her. Karan is overwhelmed. He is continuously looking at her. She looks at him and smiles.

Preeta (in mind): Iss ek hafte mein meine realise kiya Karan, ki tum kitne achche ho...tum kabhi bhi mera bura nahi chahoge aur na hi kabhi mujhe chodke jaoge...tum apne bhai ki tarah nahi ho...usse bohot alag aur bohot achche ho...mein humare relationship ko ek chance dena chahti hu...and I promise I will give my best...

Shrishti: Wow di aap toh itna achcha gaati hai!!

Preeta comes back to her senses. She looks at Shrishti and smiles.

Kritika: Sach me di!! Aap toh bhai ke takkar ki hai!!

Everybody laughs. Preeta looks at Karan, who was still looking at her.

Preeta (nervously): Excuse me...mein abhi aati hu...

She leaves from there.

Karan: Excuse me, mein abhi aaya...

He too goes behind her.

In the guestroom.

Preeta was looking out of the window, crying silently. Karan too comes there and he feels a pinch in his heart, seeing her crying. He walks towards her with humble steps.

Preeta (without turning): Please Karan, abhi nahi...please mujhe akela chod do...

Karan (shocked): Tumhe kaise...

Preeta: Please...

Karan: Kabhi nahi!!!

She turns and Karan is shocked to see her miserable state. Her eyes were red and her face was full of tears.
