Continued.

Preeran and Shrishmeer enter the Arora mansion. They see Sarla crying and Rakhi and Kritika trying to console her. Raghuveer is also upset and Mahesh and Ayaan are consoling him.

Karan (whispers): All the best Preeta!!

She glares at him. Just then Sarla notices them.

Sarla (crying): Preeta...

She immediately rushes to them and everybody follows her.

Rakhi (tearfully): Preeta, puttar tu thik toh hai na...kitni chot aayi hai...

Sarla: Beta tujhe apna dhyaan rakhna chahiye tha na!!

Preeta: Maa, mein...

Raghuveer: Preeta, beta agar koi bada accident ho jaata toh!!

Preeta: Dad...

Nobody lets her speak. They keep on telling her to take care and ask her how the accident happened. She makes a cry baby face, while Karan, Shrishti and Sameer giggle.

Karan: Arre shaant ho jaiye aap sab!! (Everybody keeps quiet. Preeta breathes a sigh of relief) Preeta bilkul thik hai...bas thode rest ki zaroorat hai...agar aap log aise hi usse sawaal jawaab karte rahenge toh woh stressed out ho jayegi!!

Rakhi: Tu sahi keh raha hai puttar!! Jaa puttar, Preeta ko uske kamre mein chod aa...

He nods. He takes Preeta to her room, upstairs. He makes her lie on the bed and covers her with the duvet. He gives her medicine.

Karan: Yeh lo, yeh kha lo!!

Preeta (making faces): Chiii!!! Mein yeh nahi khaungi!!

Karan slaps his forehead.

Karan: Kyun!!??

Preeta (cutely): Kyun ki yeh bohot kadwi hoti hai...

Karan giggles.

Karan: Tum mujhe torture karna chahti ho??

Preeta nods her head, innocently.

Karan: Toh yeh khaani padegi!! Nahi toh soch lo...tum mujhe torture nahi kar paogi!!

Preeta grabs the medicine and pops it in her mouth. She gulps it without water, shocking Karan.

Karan (shocked): Yeh...

Preeta (with attitude): Tumhe torture jo karna hai!!

He nods his head in no, and smiles. He makes her lie down. After sometime she falls asleep. He kisses her forehead, where she had been injured. She smiled in her sleep. Her newborn baby smile was as sweet as a summer strawberry and filled him with a sunshine he never knew existed in the world. He turns to leave but stops and turns. He looks at his hand. Her warm fingers were wrapped around his cold palm, not wanting him to go. He smiles and gently took his hand back and placed hers inside the duvet. He leaves.

In the hall.

Sarla: Rakhi ji, iski koi zaroorat nahi hai...

Karan: Zaroorat hai aunty...

Kritika: Haan Sarla aunty, di ko help ki zaroorat hogi aur aap aur Shrishti akele nahi kar payenge...kuch dino ke liye mein yahi ruk jaati hu...aap logo ki bhi madat ho jaayegi!!

Raghuveer (smiles): Thik hai beta!!

Ayaan makes faces.

Ayaan (in mind): Oh no!! Ab isse yaha bhi jhelna padega!! Aafat kahi ki!!

Kritika glares at him and he sticks his tongue out.

Karan (immediately): Haan!! Aur Kritika yaha apne pyaare bhai ke bina bore ho jayegi!! Toh...

Everybody giggles.

Kritika: Nahi toh bhai!!

Karan glares at her, she smirks.

Kritika: Mein toh bilkul bhi bore nahi hongi!! Ab jaiye ghar!!

Karan makes a cry baby face and everybody laughs.

Sarla (cups his face): Aap usse dekhne roz aa sakte hai...

Karan smiles widely. The Luthra's leave, while Kritika stays behind.

Raghuveer: Ayaan, Kritika ko uska kamra dikha do...

Ayaan makes a cry baby face.

Ayaan (forced smile): Chaliye!!

Kritika: Chaliye!!

Ayaan (forced smile): Ladies first!!

Kritika leaves and Ayaan goes behind her. Shrishti giggles.

Next day.

Karan comes to the Arora mansion, early in the morning. He rings the bell. Shrishti opens the door and laughs.

Shrishti: Kya hua Karan sir, lagta hai aapse ruka hi nahi gaya!!

Karan (annoyed): Haan haan, andar toh aane de!!

Shrishti giggles and lets him in. Kritika too comes downstairs.

Kritika (shocked): Bhai!! Aap itni subah subah uth gaye!!

Karan: Ab teri kya problem hai!!

Kritika (teasing): Thodi der bhi wait nahi kiya gaya!!

Karan (annoyed): Bilkul bhi nahi!! Ab mein jaa raha hu Preeta se milne!!

Sarla: Beta ji, Preeta abhi bhi so rahi hai!!

Kritika, Shrishti and Ayaan burst out laughing.

Karan: Koi baat nahi!! Mein utha dunga!!

He turns to leave but Kritika holds his injured hand by mistake and he shrieks in pain.

Sarla (concerned): Kya hua??

She sees Karan's swollen palm. She gets worried.

Sarla: Beta ji, yeh kaise hua!??

Karan (nervously): Woh...woh choti si chot hai, thik ho jayegi...

Shrishti: Jhut kyun bol rahe hai Karan sir...bataiye na kaise lagi, kya lagi aur kiski wajah se lagi...

Karan nods his head in no.

Sarla: Kiski wajah se lagi??

Karan: Woh...

Shrishti: Di ki...

Sarla and Raghuveer get shocked. Shrishti tells them everything that Preeta had done to Karan. Raghuveer gets angry.

Raghuveer: Mein abhi uss se baat karta hu!!

Karan immediately stops him.

Karan: Nahi uncle, aunty...please...aap log please usse kuch mat boliye...

Sarla: Par beta...

Karan: Uncle, aunty, trust me...abhi Preeta tuti huyi hai andar se...par mein usko jod dunga...mein apne pyaar se uski nafrat ko mita dunga...I promise...

Sarla and Raghuveer reluctantly agree. Karan goes to Preeta's room.

Preeta's room.

Karan enters the room and smiles seeing her sleeping, hugging her pillow. He sits beside her and caresses her hair.

Karan (in mind): Good morning, sunshine...

Preeta senses his touch and slowly wakes up. She looks at him and finds herself lost in his chocolate brown orbs.

Karan: Good morning...

Preeta comes back to her senses.

Preeta: Good morning...

Karan helps her sit.

Preeta: Tum...

Karan (smiling): Abhi abhi aaya...

She nods. He hands her the medicine. She makes faces. He glares at her and she gulps it with water. He giggles. She makes a cute pout.

Karan: Waise aaj pandit ji aane wale hai...

Preeta: Kyun??

Karan: Woh actually tumhe lagi hai na toh hum engagement postpone kar rahe hai...

Preeta widens her eyes.

Preeta (in mind): Oh!! Toh tum yeh shaadi ko jaan puch ke taal rahe ho!! Lekin mein aisa nahi hone dungi!!

Preeta: Uski koi zaroorat nahi hai!!

Karan: Arre par...

Preeta: Meine kaha na...engagement mein abhi ek hafta hai...tab tak mein thik ho jaungi!! Aur mujhe iss baare mein koi argument nahi chahiye!!

Karan: Achcha thik hai...tum stress mat lo...yeh lo naashta karo...

Preeta is about to say no, but Karan stuffs her mouth with fruits.

Karan: Puch nahi raha hu!! Bata raha hu!! Chup chap khao!!

She glares at him. He ignores her glare and keeps feeding her, laughing from the inside.

She finishes her breakfast.

Karan: Mein Kritika aur Shrishti ko bhejta hu..woh tumhe tayaar hone me help kar dengi...

She nods. He kisses her forehead. She closes her eyes, feeling his touch. That was one soulful kiss. She lost her soul to him. That one kiss showed so many emotions. So much love. She smiled feeling it.

Karan: Apna khayal rakhna...

He leaves. She comes back to her senses and realises what was happening to her.

Preeta (in mind): Yeh mujhe kya ho raha tha...meine Karan ko roka kyun nahi!! Yeh baar baar mujhe ho kya jaata hai!! How does he have the power to control me!! Mein kyun behek jaati hu!! Kyun bhul jaati hu ki mein usse nafrat karti hu!! Par...kya mein sach me usse nafrat karti hu...

Just then Kritika and Shrishti enter, bringing her out of her thoughts. They help her get  ready.
