The Lion Council watched as Kion paced angrily around the council room. If Kion had a tail it was be lashing around. "Kion, your pacing is giving me a headache," Fuli said crossing her arms. "Yeah, there's no need to get upset. Una's fine if you worried about her." Bunga said. Kion stopped with his back turned to his friends. His face burned, crossing his arms. "I'm not. I just...um..." Kion trailed trying to think of what to say.

He sighed. "Never mind..." Kion ran a hand through his flame-colored hair. "This meeting is over. You're all dismissed." Kion said. "Kion, are you okay?" Ono asked. Kion's eyes narrowed as he bared his teeth. "I'm fine, just leave." He growled out. "Okay, buddy. Come on, guys let's go find Una." Bunga said whispering the last part as the left the council.

Kion's growl grew into a roar as his friends left. It exploded a bookshelf and cracked the wall. A tear slipped from his eye as slammed a fist on the table in front of him. "I hate my power." He whispered. He dropped to his knees as he hid his face in his jacket sleeves.

The council went to fetch Una from her class. "You think Kion, let that roar out?" Bunga asked. "Probably by now. Let's get Una and tell her the good news." Beshte said.

In her classroom, Una sat with Xander and Jasiri. Una was tapping her pencil on her desk. She was still worried and concerned about Kion. He seemed pretty upset about Janja ruining things. Jasiri shook her shoulders and pointed to the door of the classroom. Bunga smiled waving at her. "The council wants maybe it's some good news," Jasiri said as the council came through the door to fetch the girl.

After her teacher excused her, she smiled as she was greeted by the council. "Hey, guys! Any news?" She asked. "Well, we all thought it over and we have to disqualify Janja but that's means you're our new council member," Fuli said. "Holy Pridelands, really?!" Una squeaked. "Yeah!" The rest said. "Awesome! But, where's Kion? He should be here." Una said. "Yeah about that... Kion had to deal with something." Ono said. Una tilted her head. "What kinda something, we're still at school?" Una asked.

The council exchanged glances at each other. "Never mind just meet us in the council room after school today," Fuli said. "Okay? I'll be there." Una said. "Awesome," Bunga said. The council left Una in the empty hall of the school. 'What is Kion hiding from me?' Una asked herself as she went back into her classroom.

Bunga opened the door of the council room. Papers flew around the room as Kion sat underneath the table. "Kion, you can't keep doing this. We can't lie to Una about the roar." Fuli said. "It's a damned curse! I'm never telling her, ever." Kion yelled. "What? Are you scared that she might see you differently?" Bunga asked him. Kion gave him a look that said. 'yes.'

"Oh... you are scared," Bunga said. "I'm a monster! That's why I can't tell her!" Kion cried. "I can't." He whispered. 'She would never like a monster like me.'
