February 2019 — six months later...

To say that Jisung got over Han Subin would be a lie. Park Jisung thought at least once a day about the girl that disappeared out of his life as fast as she had appeared. It has been six months, since Han Subin last came to SM Entertainment, saying her goodbye. Jisung had opened her present late at night, that day.

Subin had got him a signed Mari album, with a dedication for Jisung only. Whenever the, now, seventeen-year-old looked at the album on his desk, he would think about Subin. Everyone else had moved on without any worries; except for him.

He couldn't even enjoy his birthday properly.

He was sure that he was sick. And he needed someone to vent to, so after finishing todays practice he visited NCT127's dorm to have a chat with his beloved Taeyong-hyung.

Taeyong was surprised when Jisung came into the flat with his head low and a frown on his lips. He watched the Maknae sit down on the couch and decided to sit next to him when he heard Jisung sigh. "You seem troubled", Taeyong started and Jisung nodded.

"I've been in quite a hole lately" Jisung confessed and looked at his Hyung. Jaehyun already knew of Jisungs feelings towards the ex-intern. But even Jaehyun didn't know the extent of Jisungs feelings. And Jisung wasn't good at explaining them.

"What's up?" Taeyong asked, handing Jisung a glass of water from the coffee table in front of them. Jisung shook his head. "No, thank you", Jisung said and sighed once more. "Hyung, I think I'm getting sick. I've been feeling down for such a long time now, I don't think it's normal anymore." - "Are you having issues with any staff member or team member?" Taeyong immediately asked.

Jisung looked at his hands. He remembered how scared he was when Subin had left the room. He remembered the way his heart has started racing when he followed her into the hallway and had wrapped his arms around her tiny form.

"I miss Subin", he suddenly let out and Taeyong perked up. "Subin?" He asked and tried to remember, but it had been a long time, and 127 was always busy. "Han Subin, the intern." Jisung continued and felt his heart hurt. "I miss her so damn much. It's like someone is poking my heart and reminding me of her every single day and whenever I think of her, I remember the last time I saw her. I remember the tears on her face and the fact that I could never comfort her", Jisung was now letting out all of his hidden feelings and Taeyong watched him with worry in his eyes.

While Jisung was rambling, Yuta and Taeil entered the dorm and saw their Maknae on the couch, talking about heartache and this weird feeling in his chest. "What's up?" Yuta asked and ruffled Jisung's hair when the younger finally came to an end.

"I'm lovesick. I'm sure of it!" Jisung announced and sighed. Taeyong, Yuta, and Taeil exchanged a look and looked back at Jisung who was merely a shadow of himself. And all of it was because of a girl.

"Han Subin!" A girl laughed out loud, "did you already get your love call from YG? A trashy girl like you fits perfectly in a trashy company like that!" The girl and her friends yelled and Subin looked down at her hands.

It's been six months since Han Subin had swiped her SM-ID for the last time. And it had been four months since her Trainee contract with Blue Soda Entertainment had ended. Subin had decided to not sign again and resigned from the company.

Everything had happened on good terms. And everything went smoothly and quiet — until Yoobin had released a Special Single and was starting to promote here and there. Subin was proud of her best friend. She had supported Yoobin's single in the charts and even bought a physical copy from her album.

But then her classmates started asking her, about her own debut. They asked her, why Blue Soda didn't let the two of them debut together — and that was when Subin announced that she was no longer an Idol Trainee.

While it was okay for her, to go to her regular schedule as a Highschool student; her classmates didn't quite understand why she would stop being a Trainee. They started spreading rumors on how Subin got kicked out of Blue Soda and that she was a failure.

Subin tried to ignore all their comments, but lately, they were getting too much.

"Subin-ah! Did Woolim turn you down as well, because you dance like a stick?" A boy called when she entered the classroom after recess time. Subin lowered her head and quickly rush to her chair. She sighed and hid behind her books.

She thought it was unfair of their classmates to treat her like that, but she wasn't in the state of mind to defend herself. All she wanted was to be back in SM Entertainment and train under Mr. Yoo. But Subin quickly shook her head, every time the thought stroke her head.

Subin sighed and looked through her timetable — Korean History with Mrs. Jeon was her next lesson. She still wasn't the best student but was more diligent than ever. Her homeroom teacher Mr. Song was praising her current grades and told her that she had a bright future ahead of her.

But the only thing she wanted to do in her future was producing music. But even her homeroom teacher had told her, she should try and manage to get into a college and learn something that was more safe, than playing the risky card. Subin was annoyed.

"Ya! Super-Trainee Han Subin!" A classmate called and Subin looked up. "Your phones ringing", the boy said and Subin looked at her phone that was indeed ringing — with NCT Dream's Drippin'.

A warm shower went through her body, while she remembered the recording session with Jisung and Chenle. But she quickly shook her head and looked at the number that was calling her. She furrowed her brows — it was a number she had never seen in her life.

With a sigh, she took her phone and left the classroom; accepting the call she held the phone to her hear. "Han Subin speaking", she asked and leaned on the wall of the hallway.
