Monotone, empty, lonely, you name it.
That's the daily life in Hurstdon for Jeffrey, Alice, Natalie, Toby and Ben.
Childhood friends who were now Middle Schoolers.

The biggest problem with this five was not only their lives but also their mind. They seemed to mature rather late, because even in seventh grade these kids would joke around and take things easy.

That was until eight grade when the five started to be more "self conscious", like Natalie and Alice, suddenly they seemed to care about their bodies and looks ,more than they should've.
And the boys, they all felt like lonely bummers, insecure young boys with no dreams or goals.

And they all shared this misfortune with one another.

Now the town was another problem for the five.
Hurstdon was a very popular place because of their successful mining business, all of that until a bomb went off at the entrance a few years ago, killing dozens of citizens and workers, neither the hard work or any kind of technology could unblock the mine again, closing the industry for decades to this day.

Sew Creek Highschool, the only school left in the area and the main of the problems. The education was mediocre as it could be, and the social standards were the ones you could imagine, those with more money were royalty, and those who didn't were the peasants.

If only that highway to Hingnews city wasn't so long they could cross it by foot, leaving all of their problems behind at last.
Unlike Hurstdon, Hingnews city was big and industrial, the economy was a hundred times better, the houses were fancy and lots of job opportunities.

A good going life seemed like one of those dreams you can archive once you retire or something, after all, their first 15 years of life were already lame, it couldn't get worse, right?
