Macy was tired of waiting for him. It has been almost a week and he has not come back, like he had promised. Today, she invited Kyle to study math together. It was his idea since she was helping him with his essay.

At five, Kyle rang the doorbell. Her parents were not home because they were visiting their godchild. She was glad they were not home because they would never allow her to let a boy in. When they got all their books laid out, they started discussing math then it moved on to something totally different. They talked about their plans in the future. Kyle wants to become an engineer, which also happens to be her dad's job. She smiled, of course he wants to be an engineer, he is a genius at math. Because their laughter was loud, she did not notice the little ding indicating that someone entered the house. When it was time to go, she said good bye to Kyle and headed to her room.

Macy was humming her grandma's favourite song as she skipped her way to her bedroom. Then, she heard someone humming along. She heard it coming from her room. The girl carefully opened the door, and she screamed until the person turned around. "Its only you," she sighed with relief.

"It's only me? Is that how you greet your boyfriend? And how dare you let another boy into our house. Who is he?" Luke questioned.

"First of all, you are not my boyfriend. Second, how dare you question me about who I can invite into my own house, and lastly, how could you just leave?" Luke explained that he left her a note explaining that he would be gone. The girl argued that he said he would be back in two days but it has already been a week.

But he did have news. While running back to Macy's place, he encountered someone. He emphasized that the person was a girl. Luke explained that this girl saw him teleport. Macy laughed. She thought it was a joke. "Do you really think I'm gonna believe you when you say that you can teleport? This is not some kind of adventure/sci-fi novel, so you can stop with the joke." Luke insisted that he was not joking but he would explain about him later. He continued with his story.

The girl he interacted with said that she saw them hanging by the bridge. Luke had never seen the girl before. He thought that she might just be visiting. The boy described to her to be a very pale, tall, and blonde girl. She had eyes as light as the sun. The girl was wearing a Star Wars shirt. She seemed awkward but also sweet. "She said that she saw me holding on to you and when I closed my eyes, I was right under the bridge."

When Luke was emphasizing the word girl, Macy looked up from pouting. She saw that Luke was enjoying her annoyed face. "Did you have fun with her?" Luke said it was only a small talk and that he rushed to her right away. Macy smiled,

They decided to take it easy for today. Macy said that a new episode of 'Supernatural' was on so Luke dragged her out of her room to watch it. As close as they were, they sat on the opposite sides of the couch.

During the commercial, she notices Luke hiding his arm behind him. She went around to go to the bathroom. On her way back, she took a peek at his arm. She notices it flinching then it starts to lose colour. Her eyes widen. She could not process what was happening.

When the episode ended, she spread a comforter in her room so Luke could sleep there. He suggested he stay in her room so that her parents would not see him when they go downstairs. The girl waited until she was sure that he was asleep. Then, she grabbed her computer and searched up anything to do with fading arms. She could not find anything. So, she searched up any orphanages that indicated anyone named Luke. There was way too many too go through, but she was determined. When she stumbled upon a boy named Luke who went missing when he was ten, she got even more interested. The picture definitely looked like the Luke that was with her. As she scrolled down, there was a photo of a letter featured on the page. The writing was hard to read, but you could still identify what the writer was saying. In the letter, the boy was saying that he was safe with 'Doctor Boss' and that he is having fun being with his brother. He also said that they would not have to look for him because he does not want to go back there anymore.

Macy glanced at the sleeping boy. Was that him? She kept asking questions. The letter confused her even more. Why would he want to stay with the doctor instead of go back to the orphanage and what really caused his fading arm.

With that additional information, she decided to search up any more mentions of a 'Doctor Boss.' After the twelfth page from Google search, she finally found something. It was an article from five years ago reporting a search party that was able to find about seven hundred orphans that went missing. The suspect was called 'Doctor Boss,' based on what the orphans had called him. Doctor Boss is was a popular doctor who was at the top of his career until he developed too many drugs and secretly gave them to some of the hospital's patients. When he was fired, he developed a hospital for the powerful. He has not been arrested yet and they believe that he still had more orphans working with him. She scrolled down to look for pictures. Luckily, a picture of a boy she recognized appeared. It was Kyle.
