It took at least twenty nine minutes to reach the southern end of Hakone, and the pinkish red goo that flooded the streets get shallower as the row boat nears the warehouses. Kaworu felt bored after looking at the clear blue sky and the buildings passing by, but at least he sees a metal gate close by.

"We're almost here!" Yoshino chimed.

"Good, I'm getting bored. Not to mention getting hungry ever since I emerged from my puddle" Kaworu replied.

"Don't worry, I've got a lot of food stored in the warehouses. That'll last us for two years" she said.

"Wait... doesn't the food get expired since it has been sixty seven years past expiration date?" He questioned.

"Not if you freeze dried them~!" She answered in a sing song tone.

He got his answer, so he became quiet afterwards.

The row boat reached the asphalt shore, and the two got off. Yoshino unlocked the metal gate and opened it, showing that there were over twelve warehouses. Combine with the brick walls, it looked like a walled makeshift village. Kaworu walked across the row of warehouses, but the concrete felt warm yet slightly rough beneath his feet.

"So, where is your hideout?" He asked.

"It should be in the third row, to the right, three buildings down. It's decorated, so you can't miss it" Yoshino explained.

He followed her directions, and soon enough, he saw one warehouse with a satellite dish and neon light signs. Once he entered the warehouse, he can see numerous devices and tools that makes it resemble a mad scientist's makeshift laboratory. There is also a bed at one corner of the warehouse, a metal table with wooden chairs, a couch, a television set, blueprints on robots and a mechanical suit.

"Wow, this makes me feel like I'm in a mech anime!" He remarked.

"Doesn't it? Like I said before: my father used this place as his private laboratory. I managed to spruce things up and make it more like home, so it doesn't feel like an abandoned warehouse" said Yoshino, entering.

Kaworu walked to the table, and picked up one blueprint out of curiosity. Apparently, it shows a diagram of the construction of a robotic suit known as "the grey dove".

"Say, what's this?" He asked.

"This is the blueprint of a prototype robotic suit that my dad had finished, but he didn't get to test it out due to the research tech lab shutting the idea down" answered Yoshino, as she felt disappointed.

"I wonder if I can test it out, to see if it works like your old man wanted?" He suggested.

"Really? It's the first time someone willingly volunteered, considering that my father had tested out his creations by himself" she remarked.

Yoshino walked over to the wall to the left, and pressed the button. Then suddenly, the wall parted before flipping over, revealing the robotic suit prototype along with an undersuit. The robotic suit itself has a grey color with red streaks, has a glass covering on the helmet that protects the face, and has some spikes on some parts of it. The undersuit also has a grey color with red streaks, and it is made of a mix between cloth and metal. It has a cloth cap that resembles something the astronauts would wear to communicate, but the only things missing are the gloves and boots.

"This is the prototypes my father has been working on, but didn't exactly finish the undersuit" said Yoshino.

"I can see why, I mean, there's no gloves nor boots. If I worn the undersuit, then my hands and feet wouldn't be protected!" Complained Kaworu.

"You've still got the fingerless gloves that you are wearing, so that should suffice. After all, this undersuit is an important part of this robotic suit prototype. It provides some protection, but it couldn't take no more than a few hits before breaking off. Like what you said about how your feet remain unprotected when wearing this, and that's why this prototype suit has boots" she explained.

Kaworu imagined himself wearing that undersuit that ended up getting destroyed and leaving him in his underwear, making him blush just the thought of it.

"Then this leaves me no choice, I'll wear the robotic suit" he grumbled.

"I know you would say this" she said with a smile.

She picked the unfinished undersuit and gave it to him, and he went into an unfinished room to change into. She waited until she saw him coming out, wearing the undersuit and the communications cap. Then he went over to the robotic suit, and it opened itself as if it was expecting him to step into it. Without hesitation, he stepped into the suit and it closed. He looked at himself, and sees that he's wearing the robotic suit.

"Systems: on. Activating all sensors. Facial recognition, accepted. Welcome, Kaworu Tsukuba" greeted the electronic voice coming from the suit itself.

"Kaworu, can you hear me?" Asked Yoshino.

"Yes, I can hear you. This suit makes me look like a badass super sentai wearing armor!" He answered, grinning behind the glass.

"Now, this suit has rocket boots that allow you to fly in the sky. Not to mention that it provides much protection, but even it's durability has its own limitation. I can estimate the overall damage that this suit can take is at least twenty five, in which it's parts would have broken off upon each damage. You need to be careful, and you also need to hone in on your psychic powers while you're at it" she warned.

"If this suit is broken and leaving me wearing this undersuit, is it possible to fix it?" He asked.

"Yes, if it's reduced to broken parts then bring it back to me, I'll try and fix it" she answered.

Suddenly, the walls of the warehouse started vibrating as if something big is flying.

"What's happening!?" Asked Kaworu, trying to regain his footing.

"It's a machine drone. Apparently soon after everyone on earth has melted into goo, machines made by an organization called O. R. O. C. H. I. started to attack anyone that has regained their physical bodies, Just to preserve the order that the organization visioned. Not to mentioned that these machines are powered by people that were melted into goo, yet are programmed to attack" Yoshino explained, with a hint of fear in her voice.

A large metal fist punched through the metal roof, creating a hole for the two to see. What they saw is a large robotic drone with propellers that allowed it to fly. But despite this, Kaworu smirked upon seeing something that can give him a challenge.

"Good, something that let me test this suit and my psychic powers!" He grinned, while activating the rockets from beneath the boots.

He then flew towards the drone, fist ready to punch, and ready to use his psychic powers.
