There's one factor alone that keeps me from really being afraid of some parts of horror movies.

That thing is science.

It's not "Oh that blood squirting out of Judge Turpin's neck is obviously fake."

It's more "Oh Georgie's arm got ripped off. All of his skin cells from that arm are slowly dying" and "Oh Pennywise eats children. That's the food chain, bitch."

Biology has fucked me up good.
